I checked in on the first floor waited a few minutes when I was called. the receptionist told me I was not on the schedule for me to go on the 3rd floor. I go on the 3rd floor and sign in at 11am. their lunch break is one hour ok no problem. so at 12:15 my name was called. the nurse informed me that I was to have a procedure done and it had to be done by Dr Gremillion. So I had to go back down to the 1st floor to let them know I was supposed to go on the schedule. The receptionist was very adamant about me not be on schedule and I had to go back up stairs. 3rd floor gave me a authorization #289046813 to bring back to 1st floor for her to tell me she doesn't need the number she said she told 3rd floor it doesn't matter what their computer says hers doesn't show an appointment for me. So I go back to 3rd floor to wait another hour to get told they are waiting for the supervisor to call back. i couldn't wait any longer because I had to arrange a ride and my rid couldn't wait any longer. I had to leave I go back to 1st fl to make another appointment and was told I had to go back to 3rd floor, but I refused to go back. I have been trying to get treated for over a year but my surgeons office dropped the ball for over a year about me getting pain management, it just happened and now this. There were at least eight people outside of the office area waiting, one getting physical therapy and a line of folks inside, some sitting at the table. They are taking temps and require face coverings but the waiting area does not have six feet spacing. They seem to have no sense of coordination and I think they purposely overbook folks like the airlines for profit's sake. With three visits to Dr. Duplantier, I find him as a great ortho physician but he spreads himself very thin without thought of his patients wait times. I've heard many people complaining (before and now during this visit) about the wait and lack of organization. I'm waiting hours for him, just for a five minute office visit. I'm disappointed because now that we're in a pandemic, you'd think they would schedule people accordingly to avoid crowding.
