Dr. Vu is great. I had the worst spasm on my back and he was able to make it better in couple of treatments. Also had pain in my foot and that was fixed in one treatment. My first experience with acupuncture was in NYC in the 80's, for an ankle injury. Since that time I have prefered Chinese medicine over western medicine. Dr. Henry Vu is an amazing acupuncturist who helped induce my labor naturally! Today when I passed his clinic I had to stop and say thank you. On 1/7/19 I was doing my normal daily walk and my mom convinced me to give acupuncture a try. I was 41 weeks and 3 days pregnant and had tried EVERYTHING to help naturally induce labor but nothing seemed to work. Dr. Vu never made any claims about inducing labor, but after a consultation he and I agreed that relieving some of my stress and anxiety about it would only help. Immediately after leaving I finally started having contractions and the rate of progression was undoubtedly faster after getting the acupuncture treatment. I have found a lot of relief from the Herbal Himalayan Salt remedy that Dr Henry created. I use the formula for aches & pains, and muscle relief. I feel so much better after I soak in the salts. I have severe muscle and joint pain. And these salts really help a lot. I sometimes soak just my hands but more often then not I soak my whole body in a bath in the evening. I find that the salts help my body detoxify and improve my blood circulation which in turn helps relieve the pressure and inflammation on my joints. I have tried many types of bath salts before but prefer Dr. Henry's. His salts are much more concentrated than other retail bath salts with the right mix of ingredients. Also, he uses Himalayan salt which I find provides better relief than traditional Epsom salt alone. There seems to be many added benefits as well as the joint pain relief. My skin feels softer, my muscles are not so tight and tense, and I sleep better at night since my body is overall relaxed yet stimulated in a good way for circulation and detoxification. I highly recommend Dr. Vu. My mother has suffered from chronic back pain for more than 10 years Her pain spread to her knees and feet over the last two years. She was diagnosed with a herniated disc, ankylosing spondylitis, and severe osteoarthritis. My mother walked with a limp. She could not bend over. She had multiple hospital admissions, ER visits, physical therapy and orthopedic treatments. She was given a treatment plan including healthy diet, weight management, pain medication as needed, steroid injections, and exercise. Eventually she will need surgery if she could not suffer the pain. Her pain medication manages her pain for a few hours at a time. She wakes up every day with the pain. Especially since my dad passed two years ago, her condition worsened. My mother told me that she wants to try acupuncture because she does not want to take pain medication or consider surgery. I called Dr. Vu after reading reviews on Google. He is very patient and answered all my questions. I told him that I live 45 minutes away and we will try to get there today. He said it is raining outside and to be careful. He cared about my mother even though he has not seen her yet. After the first acupuncture treatment, without taking any pain medication, my mother's pain decreased from 9/10 to 3/10. She was able to walk almost normally. Today after her second treatment, her pain decreased from 3/10 to 2/10 now. She is smiling and so happy because she does not suffer severe pain any more. I was so surprised because I have not seen my mother smile for a long time. Then she told me that I need to do acupuncture for my migraine headache. After going back to school to pursue my doctorate in nursing, I have suffered migraine attacks a couple times a week, almost every day. I have to rest in quiet, dark room. I am so stressed from working full time, being a single mother, providing for the house and studying in school. I did not want to try acupuncture because I do not know the rationale of it.
