    Creamy Avocado Mild Salsa.

Addictive creamy avocado salsa and friendly folks. What more could you want?! I keep finding more ways to eat Pain Train salsas, but as true fans know, the best way is just with a spoon. I use the green-go instead of mayo on all kinds of sandwiches- even the humble southern fried baloney sandwich is taken up a notch with Pain Train's "perfect heat" roasted red. Amazing!

    Amazing Salsas!

I heard of and tasted these salsas while at my local farmer's market. They make all the Salsas by hand everyday. So let me break down the 3 salsas they sell and the their chips: "Green Go" Salsa: An out of this world type Salsa. It's something that I've bought consistently for the last 6 weeks at the Katy Farmer's Market. It is so damn good, that I put it on EVERYTHING. Eggs, pork rinds, salad, rice...the possibilities are endless. But seriously, you need to try this stuff. I cannot get enough of it. (I might have an addiction.) "Medium Hot" Salsa: Just a great, all around, tasty, well spiced salsa. Put it on eggs, mix it in with some queso, etc. It's goooood stuff. "Perfect Hot" Salsa: It's a little too spicy for my taste, although my salsa-freak friends seemed to love the heck out of it. I say, if "pretty darn spicy" is an issue for you, then you may want to steer clear. I like it a lot, but I just wish it was a smidge milder. Chips: they are those thick, fried tortilla chips like the kind you find at an authentic Mexican restaurant where they make everything from scratch. They're good, but quite greasy. Also, I wish it had a little less salt, but then again, it may have been that batch. All in all, they make great and tasty products that are worth every penny. Give em' a shot, you might like what you taste. Thanks for reading.

Excellent salsa. We found this at market days, also ordered through mail. Keep refrigerated.

For vinegars they have everything from strawberry rhubarb & watermelon (they should just call it jolly rancher!) to hazelnut (that tastes more like coffee). And I only have ever seen just regular olive oil. But they have different flavors, including jalapeño! And is there just oil & vinegar? No way! There are also amazing sauces, butters, mayo and so much more. Try the hazelnut butter. I had to stop myself from eating the whole jar in one sitting. It's better than Nutella or any other hazelnut butter you've had (I promise!). The staff are so helpful. They don't just want to sell you, they honestly want to never be bored of the flavors. They will give you a couple awesome flavors that you can come back and refill with other favors. My husband and I have been coming here once a month (or more often) for the latter half of this year and I've truly never loved having daily salads more with all the different flavors and variations this place offers. They even have seasonal flavors. It's a cute little shop, but so much flavor and goodness packed into it. Just go there and you'll see for yourself!

I also want to recognize Patrick, who was working in the back stocking/unloading items. He took the time to go check for a product for me, came back personally, and let me know it was unavailable. I appreciated the effort and professionalism. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed the tone of my visit. The cashier, Marilyn, never greeted me, never acknowledged me when I spoke to her, and never thanked me at the end of the transaction. From beginning to end, there was not a single word exchanged from her side. When she handed me my receipt, her demeanor felt dismissive and honestly unpleasant. Idk what that attitude was about but imagine how quickly this could've gone downhill had I handled her just as rudely as she handled me. What stood out most is that there was no negative interaction beforehand that would have explained the behavior. Even if a greeting was somehow missed, there is no reason a customer should leave without at least hearing "thank you." One employee's poor customer service can easily overshadow the positive work of others, and that's exactly what happened here. Whole Foods needs to do better with consistency in customer experience, especially at the register where customers leave with their final impression of the store.

Inside the main pasta store, you can actually watch the pasta being made fresh right in front of you -- it's fascinating! There's a pasta counter where you can order it directly after it's made, so you know you're getting it at peak freshness. They also offer convenient meals to go and daily family specials that are a total lifesaver. We tried the lasagna special with breadsticks, salad, and a dessert, and it was absolutely delicious -- hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
