Honestly, one of my favorite places to grocery shop. The store is always really clean and everything feels fresh and well stocked. The prices are actually pretty reasonable, especially for their various organic options. I also like that they carry a lot of things you don't easily find at regular grocery stores. Their vitamins and supplements section is really impressive too. The cashier, Vince, was very cheerful and enthusiastic. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and just had a really positive attitude that you don't always see at grocery stores. Customer service is extremely poor especially in the afternoon. Even when calling in I got hung up on and wasn't really given good customer devices which Is another thing. I normally enjoy shopping here, but my experience in the vitamins department was pretty disappointing. When I needed help finding something, there was no one around to assist. The cashiers even had to page the department twice, and no one ever showed up to help for like 20 minutes. Once the employee working in that area came across as very cliquey and not very approachable. Customer service should be a priority, especially in specialty sections where shoppers may have questions. I hope management looks into improving coverage and approachability in that department. read more

The cashier had to say oh no that doesn't happen instead of agreeing with me. When I got to my car - that was exactly the reason it declined. I had a text from the card making sure it wasn't fraud. The Sprouts Farmers Market at Spring-Cypress & 249 is the absolute best! Their employees like Nessie at the checkout and Flor in the pharmaceutical area are so helpful, friendly, and cheerful. I recently wrote a review on the Sprouts located in Copperfield on FM 529 and Highway 6. If you read that review, then you'll know that I'm a big fan of Sprouts Farmers' Market! However, this particular location is in Tomball on highway 249, and it's really close to my job! I've visited quite a few times in the past and forgotten how much I enjoyed shopping here. I decided to stop by yesterday as I was leaving work early because the other Sprouts has been out of stock with their sack of organic yellow/gold potatoes. As I was walking around I noticed how extremely clean and well organized this location is, allowing me to shop comfortably. The shelves were completely and fully stocked! I was like a kid in a candy store as I shopped but instead of candy, I was excited about all the beautiful fruits and vegetables in the produce section! Whoever is managing that department is doing an exceptional job! Keep up the good work! Moreover, great customer service exists here! My favorite checker is Claudia. She is so sweet and adorable and an all around friendly person. In the past, she has always greeted me with a pleasant attitude and she's still at it. She asked me if I found everything I was looking for and I told her that I was looking for the organic whole chickens and hens but I didn't see any. Claudia was very helpful in assisting me by immediately calling the manager from the meat department to the front as she was checking me out. I didn't catch his name but he was also a friendly and pleasant person. He told me that he would have those organic whole chickens and hens by Thursday and I told him that I would definitely be back, lol. Overall, my experience was an enjoyable one. I took the liberty to post several photos of the various products that they offer and the well organized stocked displays and shelves. One of my favorite products that's offered here is the Kashi maple waffle crisp cereal. They're absolutely delicious! I eat them dry as a low calorie sweet snack because I don't like milk in my cereal. It's a weird kind of pet peeve of mine; I don't like soggy cereal and I really don't like milk, ewww, lol. My fave place to get produce. They blow Randalls out of the water. The organic fruits and veggies here cost the same as the regular fruits and veggies you get from Randalls. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Always good healthy good here. Bison is always in stock. They have great deal on organic raw almonds. I also get my açaí from here. Probably my fave place to shop for groceries. They have great prices on meat as well. Really the best price on everything. A lot better in price when compared to Whole Foods. The first time I visited this store, about nine months ago, I had the impression this store had mediocre customer service. Not what I am used to in terms for service at their stores. The cashier was rude, condescending, even made a comment about how nice it must be to afford whatever I had picked that day. I stopped going. Fast forward to few months later, and I decided to try it again. I really missed their chicken. If you haven't tried it, you should. Not even Costco chicken compares. Not sure if management has changed, or complaints were made and listened to. Whichever the reason, I have experienced nothing but top notch customer service during my last visits. The most recent one was on Sunday, when the cashier asked if I knew about the $5 off coupon. When I said I didn't, he went out of his way to find that coupon and make sure I used it. Why doesn't yelp have a 3.5 star option?! Please please get one. I'm going to sum this review up first then tell you why. If I lived nearby I would give 4 stars (fan). I don't live nearby and it's a long drive on the regular streets so 3 stars (a-ok). Really nice selection of ready to go meals and some specialized sections like every kind of flour to cook with. Also they have a small but quality section of body/facial products and lots of liquid vitamins and minerals. Also there is a frozen section of wild game meats. They have many small sections of grocery items that cater to different dietary needs also. Problem though is that I find the pastry section very small, generic and items are made with sugar and regular flour. It's not like a Whole Foods or Trader Joes where you find their fresh bakery/breads made with whole grain flours and fruit sweeteners. So majorly bummed with this section. Also the prices are way higher nowadays than the Sprouts I visited in CO. Back then I found Sprouts to be consistently lower than the local grocery stores. Now some products are less than the grocery store and some are much higher. I guess if I lived close by it would be to my advantage to shop the sales and less expensive items at this store but with a 40 minute drive I find it not really worth it for me. Finally Sprouts had arrived in Texas after being in the Western States for many years. Lots of great deals if you pick and choose your spots with sales. Great fresh cuts of meats that either Organic or All-Natural variety at low prices compared to other bigger chain grocery stores. Most of their frozen and dairy sections to me are more expensive here (1/2 gallon of Breyer's Ice Cream for like 7 bucks?!?!) One of the best things I ever had for some reason is their chocolate chip muffins...their muffins are like eating a cupcake without the frosting. Also, you can try some samples from the helpful staff at the Deli or Candy/Nuts sections. Very clean store, lots of attentive workers, great fresh organic produce, and reasonable prices on most things. read more

Wow. So much cheaper than whole foods! Past the cost I love how "natural" most of the foods were. It seemed like everything was leaning more towards the organic side with out the outlandish prices. The store is clean and is always being restocked. They had people EVERYWHERE constantly putting up new product. I was so happy to finally go and picked up a few nice items, but I don't feel the need to have to go all the time. One item I bought was a can of petite diced tomatoes with their store label and when I used them in the dish I was cooking they were so metallic tasting I thought I had ruined the dish.. Pro: They have pretty good tasted in music, I believe. Requiring mask is also good. $5 sushi Wednesday + Con: Feels like when certain people are there the vibe or atmosphere changes. A lot of the employees wear headphones, and feels like when I need help the cashiers seem to be the only real help. One guy felt sorry for him, he was answering the phone and checking out customers quicker then the others, then still had time to point me in the right direction. Feels like they have there own little clique when it comes to addresssing customers. When I do call they answer promptly but when I get "transferred" it feels like I'm left on hold for like 5 mins or more... In closing, I know we are in a pandemic but certain employees are either super helpful or nowhere to be found. I don't get to come here often since I live about 40 miles away but when I do I enjoy the time I can spend here looking over all the items. I can always find a great buy on items I enjoy. My last trip here was great. I found fresh asparagus at a great buy. I love the produce dept. The health dept is great. You can find just about everything you can possibly need. I love the essential oils too. Hot soups each day, yum! The only thing missing at this location is customer service with a smile. I don't seem to get the customer service I feel anyone should get when you go through the checkout line. Ok, the cashier was ok, but would not win an award from me. Stopped here to check out the produce. WOW! The minute I walked in I was amazed that you can get 5 mangoes (ataulufo or red) or $1! And 3 avocados for $1! It was the special that Sunday. Everything was so fresh and neat and orderly. They have alot of natural and organic products, even deli meat with NO NITRATES! I saw lots of prepared packaged dinners that seemed really appealing but I did not pick any up as we bought their meatloaf. Yes, you can get an already seasoned meatloaf in a pan! For around $6 was the loaf we chose. You just go home and bake it. Shoot, you can buy one and act as if you spent time making it yourself! :) I also saw a sushi counter but we went super early like when they opened that the folks were still rolling. THey were nice though but I had no patience to wait for all the rolling to be done. Maybe next time! I bought an assortment of things and my total was not bad at all! I got mangoes, avocados, box of spinach, zucchnni, mushrooms, meatloaf, frozen Amy's entrees, Sweet Leaf tea, five Fage yogurts at $1 each, Greek Goddess yogourt, and Agave nectar. Spent around $50 but would have been more at Whole Foods. Oh, I think all month of May you get 20% freezer stuff as long as it fits in their brown shopping bag. I never heard of Sprouts until the day of their grand opening. Curiosity got the best of me since it is so close to home and I decided to see what the hype is all about. I'm always up to finding great sales for quality produce (who isn't?!) and I was pleasantly surprised at the bargains. But beware with packaged produce such as grape tomatoes and strawberries as several of the containers I picked up had moldy/rotting pieces. If I would have not checked, I would have been ticked when I got home. It was too crowed to check out their beef selection but their pork and chicken selection and prices were very good and looks fresh. It should also be noted that this is not the place to go for regular groceries. The non-perishables here are along the all-natural and organic vein and you will pay the price for it, not budget friendly. The three best parts of my first trip to Sprouts: is finding the bins of dried fruit, granola, and nuts which you package yourself and pay per pound- try the glazed pecans, they are like nature's candy in amazeballs form; second, they have a wall of jarred spices which you also may package and pay per ounce, very nice selection of rare spices at a hard-to-beat price; and the third best thing is their health and beauty department, it is stocked high and has a lot of neat things to test and smell. read more

Sprouts is my go-to for all things organic and bulk! They regularly have great specials throughout the store and can really help the pocket books when you're trying to eat better and save some cash. This particular location is my favorite not just because it's close to home, but also because of how neat and organized it regularly is, and how polite and helpful their staff are. The store itself is spacious and well-stocked, from the grocery aisles to the deli. They also offer a variety of bulk items, ranging from nuts, chocolate and trail mixes to cooking necessities such as sugar, grains and beans. I was extremely excited to see that something like this has finally come to the Northwest suburbs area. Today was my first and only visit to Sprouts. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I really liked the selection in the deli, seafood, and produce. They have high quality items/organic items, at a reasonable price. The staff members I spoke with were all very helpful. However, I noticed some items like cereal, sparkling water, and frozen Amy's dinners were very expensive. Also, it was very difficult to get in and out of the store quickly. There were lots of elderly people pursuing, combined with the employees restocking, there wasn't much room to get around. The cashier also doesn't have a bagger, so it makes the checkout process take a while. I will definitely be back. I hope next time to have more time and see what else I can enjoy at Sprouts. I have shopped at this location for well over 14 years. It used to be my favorite place to shop, always clean, well stocked, helpful friendly people, and prices were comparable if not sometimes cheaper. However the past 3-4 yrs, this location has declined progressively. While I realize supply issues play a big part, there's no excuse for buying almond milk that spoils in 2 days, vegetables begin to soften in 2 days, blueberries were smushy and tasteless and a few of the new checkers were not to helpful. The past year, prices have gone up tremendously, a lot of items are now several dollars higher than other neighboring grocery stores. Also, their supply of items has diminished a lot. Produce section was not well kept up. There was multiple times I came for zucchini and squash, only to find almost all of them were completely soft, mushy, and almost rotten. I have numerous times brought it to the manager's attention, and numerous times, have brought Items back up to the store along with my receipt for them to see just how bad the items were. Chicken in the boxed salads has several times been spoiled. I know they went under new management, and I do see stockers working in the produce area, however, the price of things has gone up so much at Sprout's that I can no longer afford many items. I'm very disappointed. Three weeks ago, I brought home a carton of Califia Barista Almond milk. The exp date was the end of May. When I opened the carton at home, that same day, the carton hissed at me and smelled awful. This is not the first time that's happened, in fact, it's happened more times than not, so that tells me something is wrong with their coolers. I brought that up to the manager, however he didn't think the problem was on their end, yet multiple other friends of mine and neighbors have complained about the same issue, and no longer shop at Sprouts for that reason. False advertising or bait and switch?? Saw an ad for Sea Bass at $9.99 lb. Well, it usually sells in the $20 lb. range, so I thought I would go by and have a special treat for dinner. The counterman did not quickly grasp what I was looking for and ran the piece of paper I had cut out of the ad back to a supervisor. He then pointed to a white fish with a name I had never heard of, began with the letter C, and told me this was the fish advertised. He stated as did the sign that it was a "type" of Sea Bass, but it tasted more like trout. I bought some anyway, and it was no different than 50 other types of whitefish available, a step up from Talapia, but nothing like Sea Bass that we are familiar with, and were expecting. I find that to be deceptive marketing.If I want to taste trout I can buy trout. I know there is no free lunch, but I thought, wow, new store in town has some great deals. I notice their pricing on the packaged or bottled items is higher than I could buy similar or the same product at HEB for less. . There are some bulk items that are very accessible, so my recommendation is, find the few items you like at Sprouts, stock up, and shop at HEB and enjoy wider selection at 10 to 15% less on the grocery bill. Best deal was a 6 pack of dark beer at $6.99 that was as good as many darks that are currently $8.99. read more

Another entry in the crowded Houston grocery market, Sprouts brings a special niche approach. Their claim is to be specialists in the natural market, and they advertise a down-home farmer's market vibe. However, they are a 150 store $1 billion + national chain. As a result of that, they do have organic foods at lower prices and better selections that most other store's organic selections. The stores are not huge, running about 30,000 square feet, compared to the 90,000 SF of a Kroger Signature. And like any store, you need to be aware of comparative prices. The staff is friendly and helpful and there seems to be a lot of them. I like their selection of by-the-pound nuts, rice, beans etc. but I hate the entitled asses that think this is an open sampler pit to plow thru munching away. They have hard-to-find organic meats, cheeses and prepared foods. I got the absolute BEST chicken egg rolls here. Their wine selection is nice but even after their 6-bottle discount is pricier a bit more than most. Nice selection of produce, including herbs and harder to find items. The everyday items like cereal, packaged rice and pasta. home cleaning products, etc. tend to be slightly higher than the same items at the chains like HEB or Krogers. Be aware, however of "natural" vs. USDA "Organic". "Natural" has no accepted definition and can mean a variety of things, but rarely means what USDA Organic means. All in all, Sprouts has a definite purpose and I plan to visit here for a number of items on a regular basis. Mason was quite insistent on that, he liked left-over egg rolls!! read more

Had to stop by and checkout the latest market infiltrating the Texas market. I had heard Sprouts sold a lot of bulk and organic foods. I happen to be throwing a German themed party that weekend, so it was a perfect time to try sprouts! I ordered some cold cuts, cheese, store stuffed sausages. The cold cuts look like Sprouts purchased large blocks of meat and sliced it themselves. I appreciated the store stuffed sausage. I have tricked myself into believing it's better for me (and my guests!). If you're a bulk foods, fanatic, this place is for you! There was barrel after barrel of dried fruits, nuts, grains, and beans. This is an amazing place to stock up on pantry items. Also, while most of the produce is at a good price, not all of it is organic--check the signs. Also, most of the produce lasted a few days, but most of it didn't make it through the week. blah. The Sprouts branded food is pretty good, but everything is huge. We used the bottle of creamer for WEEKS. There isn't a huge selection of boxed goods. For example, there are only 2 brands or so of linguine pasta. The beer and wine selection is pretty good, but there's a Spec's next door. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to pick thru moldy produce to find something I can be confident to put in my body. Today, I went to this location to buy blackberries. With one glance, there were several cartons of moldy blackberries. I gathered up five cartons and gave them to the produce lady, who barely looked at me and didn't say anything like "oh dear" when I gave them to her. The red grapes were just as bad. I passed on these, as so many bags had soft, wrinkly, squishy, moldy grapes in them. This is not the first time I have had problems with produce here. I have been unfortunate enough to have purchased moldy unknowingly, but it would have cost me more in aggravation to return it, as this is not an easy location to get in and out of, unless you live north of Spring Cypress. I've had to wait for several minutes for someone behind the meat counter to not only take notice, but to move their feet towards me. They will look up, see me, and then continue to do whatever it is they are doing, and not even inform anyone that there is a customer waiting. I quit coming here for a while because it was so bad. There are other stores nearby (Aldi's, HEB, Whole Foods) that I can shop in, and won't have to deal with this nonsense. I wrote to Sprouts HQ. We'll see what they say. read more
