Not sure if i would recommend. I booked with Jamie a more than an month in advance for a kids birthday party event and paid a deposit. Unfortunately, due to a death in the family we had to cancel. we tried to move forward with the party but then ultimately made the decision to cancel for a later time. When i reached to schedule for a later date in June(she still had my deposit and told me previously she can use that deposit at a later time), i received an unprofessional call from Jamie stating that is was inconvenient and her artist will be losing out on money, since she never canceled her artist. At that moment because of how she called me and blamed her not canceling her artist on me, I chose not to try to rebook with her and sent her an email to have it in writing and also explaining the situation. I understand that what happened was not something that happens often but it was completely out of my control and would have wished (being that I had just had a death in my immediate family) for her to have been more professional and read through her emails before she reached out to me and blame her not cancelling the previous date on me. read more

Jamie's work is indescribable, she is a very talented person her work will amaze you. I hired her for my nephews birthday 2 years ago, he has a safari themed birthday. There were lots of kids waiting in line to get their face painted I was worried there wasn't going to be enough time to get everyone taken care of. Luckily my party was the last for her that day so she agreed to stay an extra hour. She was worth every penny! Kids parents and teens were all painted and happy with her! I got compliments all month long on how amazing her work was. Jamie Graden is AMAZING with her design work and is extremely fast. She has done two of our parties and one of the class year end parties. She is very business like w/o the fluff via email and in booking which I appreciate but she is also personable, sweet and thoughtful when actually in person. I love that her calendar is posted right on her website so you can see if she is available. We are so spoiled by Jamie that the kids all comment when a different face painter is at an event...... parents all ask for her cards and I will never have any other face painter if I can help it. I've had the chance to experience Jamie's work both in personal and professional situations. She's painted my face numerous times at events and she's awesome! She always takes the things I want into consideration - certain colors, themes, etc. and with her creativity and skill makes her bright and beautiful art into something even better than what I imagined each time! Jamie is the most amazing artist to say the very least! We just hired her to come paint faces for children at a transitional facility and she was so incredible with each and every child. They went from being shy to seeing their faces transform into art pieces and they literally beamed with joy.
