The setup was really easy to follow, and they provide you with the colors you'll need throughout the class, which was nice. There was also more than enough space at the tables for a bottle of wine and a snack, which is always a plus. My painting came out WAY better than I expected, especially because I'm a terrible artist lol. The host wasn't the most helpful, though. She would give a nice 5-minute speech every 30-45 minutes, but it wasn't really a step-by-step process. I completely understand that everyone's pet is different, so it would be hard to teach the exact same process for every painting, but it just didn't really feel like she was "teaching" us throughout the class. Now, I have to give ALL my praise to the Purple Easels artists who were walking around helping everyone, especially Eden. That girl is AMAZING!! She was so helpful and knowledgeable. I would literally wait for her to come by so I could steal some knowledge from her. The other artists were walking around and helping too, but I noticed that Eden genuinely seemed to enjoy her job, which made it so easy to ask her for help. She actually took the time to explain what she was doing and why, instead of just telling me what color to use. My painting would NOT have come out this amazing without her guidance. Big props to that artist!! I'm really happy with my experience and would definitely do another Paint Your Pet event!

Something memorable than the typical bouncing jumpers. There were many mobile canvas paint companies to choose from, but my initial contact with Strokes on Kanvas made my decision so easy to move forward with them. I received a prompt follow-up call to confirm their availability, followed by personal messages to solidify the details. This husband/wife duo are nothing less than professionals. They were great with the kids. They were attentive, patient, knew when to give them breaks, knew how to gather them back and re-focus, and just had the kid's (and adults) excited about their painting skills. The interior is incredibly vibrant and colorful which makes for a very welcoming atmosphere. The instructor Elle brought great energy to the class and was very encouraging to all the attendees. The class moves steadily so you don't feel rushed, and they encourage you to work at your own pace as well as allowing you to be free to make deviations from the painting as you see fit. There's a lot of freedom in what you create which I found to add to the experience as everybody's painting is their own unique piece of art. The staff help clean everything up at the end, assist with photos, answer questions, and let you take your time as you leave in the event you need to add those finishing touches to your masterpiece. My hubby and friends attended a paint event recently. It was our first time with LPT and for our…read morehusbands- their first time painting ever! The venue for this particular class was a bar in Chino Hills. Before the class we had the chance to get drinks and a bite to eat. Service here was slow but friendly. Room size was huge for our class and there were maybe 40 to 50 students to 1 instructor. She uses a microphone and speakers but being a bar it was sometimes hard to hear. Our instructor did a great job at explaining the techniques to novices like us. Our instructor would walk the room and provide assistance to those struggling (like me ) We all had a great time st LPT and look forward to many returns!
