Bruno may not mean to scam you, but he will take your money and then do nothing for months. He will not apply for permits, and he will tell you your town/city is the problem. He will blame every delay or broken promise on circumstances outside of his own control. During that time, he will use your money to finish his other projects or (probably) pay his other bills. If you ask for your money back, he will tell you he has bought materials but never provide any proof. If you call Bruno out for his poor performance, he will gaslight you and again blame everyone but himself, including you. I decided to work with Bruno despite a few bad reviews. I figured everyone makes mistakes. But when Bruno makes them, he will not make them right. The only reason I have not pursued a lawsuit against him is that lawyers cost money and Bruno has a history of not paying the settlements against him. It's possible that Bruno has improved his business practices in the year since we last interacted, but I wouldn't bet on it. Neither should you.

When it still didn't arrive, I figured they didn't want the project and weren't telling me, and I gave up and left a negative review. Then, I got the estimate and we exchanged a few normal and friendly emails with questions/clarifications. We became busy with the holidays after that, and many weeks later, they emailed us to ask if we still needed painting and asked us to remove the review. They sounded very eager to work with us and wanted to deliver a great project. We responded a couple months later, which is not ideal, but to be fair, exterior painting wasn't on our minds in winter and we were very distracted by the election and subsequent events. We wanted to work with them and spent an hour carefully looking at the estimate again and making sure our remaining questions were written out. We had already discussed most of them with Big Dog, so there were only a couple new things we asked them to clarify. We sent the email, and their response was that they had decided it was best for all involved that they remove themselves from consideration. We were very confused because the only thing that happened between now and a couple months ago was the passing of time. We asked if they could clarify why they were now dropping out. They basically just said when we didn't respond to their request to remove the review, they took it as a learning opportunity and moved on and decided they couldn't deliver good results. We emailed them back and said we were really disappointed and still very confused, and reiterated that we were willing to update or remove the review since we did eventually get the estimate and they had responded to emails quickly. We got no response. We feel that our time recently was wasted, we're guessing there's another reason they don't want the job and aren't telling us, and we no longer feel they're interacting with us in good faith. Doing a job shouldn't be contingent on a truthful review being removed.

They returned in June of the next year to correct. Again, the paint was peeling after 3 or 4 months. They returned a 2nd time, but not until the following year. They repainted again with the same result. After that, they said the warranty was over and "there must be something wrong with Our house". No previous painters had this problem. If you are considering Arch, you should also know that the painting is not actually done by their employees. They sub-contract the work to dodgy crews with no Arch Signage on their trucks. I could attach more pictures, but suffice to say this was not in one spot but pretty much everywhere they painted.

Their estimate was much less than any of the…read moreother estimates we received, We thought we had to empty our furniture but they told us that only the pictures and small items needed to be removed and they would take care of the rest. They were very meticulous in making sure our furniture was covered and when finished painting everything was put back as it was. Everyday they arrived promptly at 8:00AM and left at 5:00PM. Our condo was painted with two coats of paint to the walls. They also did our ceilings and trim. Also our kitchen cabinets were removed to be prepped and painted. Once done they put back the cabinet doors. We can't express enough the wonderful job Harley and his crew did. They were the nicest gentlemen.
