We had a group of 8 guys for a bachelor party. Apparently we weren't the only ones because we saw several different bachelor parties throughout the day. So in addition to birthdays, this is a good place for groups. There are quite a number of different courses and course types. Some smaller with limited cover, a larger one complete with plywood buildings, and ones in the woods. The package we got allowed for all day, any course. So we tried them all. My favorites were the ones in the woods and the one with buildings. But definitely try them all, why not. My most helpful tip would be to get the mid-priced sniper gun. Some of us got the cheapest gun and others got the most expensive automatic gun. The cheapest had poor accuracy. The automatic had the same short barrel so its accuracy wasn't any better plus it goes through ammo much quicker. After a few rounds, I paid the extra $5 to upgrade to the sniper which gave much better results (all they do is screw on a longer barrel). Our ref was pretty laid back. He even led us to an open field and let us play "civil war re-enactment" where we stood in 2 lines 20 paces from each other and took one shot at the other line. If you didn't get hit, you took a step closer and did it again until no one was left. This was fine until I got shot directly on the nipple from about 10 yards away... not pleasant. There isn't really much in terms of food. So if you plan on staying all day, pack something. Also, as with every day this summer, we went when it was a million degrees out. They sell sports drinks but also had a free water cooler for everyone. But I've rambled enough. For $35 (again, go with the sniper upgrade), I'd say it was a good time. Had a great time on a beautifully sunny but cold Saturday. The cold weather was perfect so that we all had a few layers on which acted as extra padding for when we got shot and we stayed plenty warm from running around most of the time. We had a reservation which requires at least ten people. Everyone that worked there was really nice and helpful and definitely made the experience run smooth and full of fun. The base rental per person was $35 which included the basic gun rental, a face mask, a bag of 500 paintballs, and all day air which is refilled for free when you run out. There were gun upgrades available from $5 - $30 more which included longer barrels and faster shooting guns. And if you run out of paintballs you can always head inside and buy another bag or even a case if you are planning on doing a lot of shooting. We played three different courses, repeating each one multiple times. They were filled with barriers and obstacles made from big wooden spools, wooden crates, and large plastic tubes. Buildings on each field were made from trailers, sheds, and house-like structures with plywood exteriors. The fields had different setups for a variety of different games and some were larger and smaller. Since we had a group reservation, we had a personal referee that stayed with us the whole time. He escorted us to the fields, explained the rules, refereed our games, and made sure we stayed safe. If any problems came up like jammed guns, empty air tanks, or running low on ammo he helped us to quickly resolve these issues. Overall, it was a great experience. We had a ton of fun and everybody enjoyed themselves. All of the staff were professional and courteous. I would definitely return again for another fun-filled day. read more

Several family (group of 8 from 11 years old to 48) drove up from Cleves not knowing what to expect. We were newbs and rented equipment and I can only say IT WAS AWESOME! Everyone had a blast and staff were a class act. Felt very safe. They kept the events rolling non-stop and mixed us up with some seasoned veterans who were very helpful. Food prices were worth it so could let kids chow down there before leaving. Pizza and coke was $2.50. We will definitely return and kids already want to have birthday parties there. We'll see if this place can handle the now seasoned RENTAL POSSE when we return! read more

Great fun! They have several courses for paintball. Dress accordingly with lots of padding! The paintballs definitely leave marks. If you have a small group they will combine you with another group so there are more opportunities for games. This is the same place that the Mudathlon is held. They usually have groupons or other coupons available. read more

A group of friends and I came out here for a birthday party, and I thought it was a pretty good deal. With a group of 10 or more, you're have access to a pretty standard "party room," consisting of several long tables. The best thing about having a private party was having a personal referee assigned to our group who guided us through the different courses, discussed alternative games like capture the flag, and who seemed to expedite the entire day. I'm not sure if the walk-on experience is much different, but we didn't need to wait in between games, stopping only to refill our ammo and each lunch at our pleasure. Quick Tips: Food options are limited so plan accordingly. You're only allowed to use their paint. I'd recommend arriving early because line for rentals gets pretty long. read more

The place has potential. However, the so called "refs" obviously have no desire to be there. They stand around, talk to each other and joke with what appear to be regulars. I got more information from the teenagers there to play. They do not enforce the rules that they so conveniently announce at the fields. Not one of the regulars was made to stop play when they were hit. They allowed shooting that was too close. Inside was worse. I tried to buy food for my son, no one would stop talking and eating their own snacks to take my money. I finally announced "I want to buy something!" And a girl with a mouthful of food wandered over. I'm finding somewhere else to go!! read more

We went out to Paintball Country for the first time this past weekend. I was very impressed all around. The fields for playing on were very cool and large. We had teams of around 20+ throughout the day. The staff was very professional and friendly, and well organized. We ran into no issues at all. Glad we went and we'll be back for sure. read more
