Such a cute space, the teacher we had was great, even though my master piece was not. She had a great playlist that we all appreciated and kept it very interactive. I came to a fundraiser and all seats were sold but it didn't feel crowded at all. They offer great drinks at fair prices. There is plenty of parking out back and it's a quick walk to the door. I highly recommend

Everything needed was provided (paint, brushes, smock), and good music was playing. I also really appreciate they sold snacks! The instructor was entertaining and more than willing to help fix mistakes or explain things further. I left with a painting I couldn't believe I painted myself! All around great experience. Highly recommend!

Needed a place for a "Not a Baby Shower/Shower" and decided to go with Painting with a Twist. The owners were an absolute pleasure to work with as they both are extremely personable and polite. Not only were they patient during the planning process they were quite accommodating and attentive during the actual party. Our painting instructor Kim - connected with everyone in the party - and helped everyone find their inner artist. I look forward to booking future parties there as well as dropping in for one of the open sessions.

We went to a paint and sip for my friend's birthday, and Katie was our artist lead. She was incredibly sweet, and made the experience very fun while not being over the top. She did a good job of explaining what we needed to do, but also gave us plenty of time to talk to each other and have fun. This wasn't like a school art class, it was actually so much fun and I left with a great looking painting, which I am so surprised about.! I also have not painted anything even remotely like this, and I have no artistic skills, and she did a great job explaining the different brushstrokes and the different paintbrush techniques, so I did actually pick up some useful information which was great ! painting with the twist is a very nice family run establishment, I have been here for the chunky knitted blanket, making class and that was equally fun and well organized! If you are looking for a fun, different activity, check out with this place has to offer! There is also ample parking in the back! read more

I love coming to Painting with a Twist. I attended this class a few weeks ago. I am able to relax and paint freely without a care. I consider this time to indulge in self-care. I enjoyed attending this class because I got to paint wine glasses with pretty flowers. The teacher was very fun and engaging. She was very helpful and encouraging as well. Angie was so great in her guidance of how to execute the painting. I mean art is not a strength of mine. I felt very relaxed and even though I didn't have any wine this time around since I was a little late, I didn't even need it. She made it fun with her energy. This place is great!! My boyfriend and I went for date night twice. We painted two different Star Wars themed paintings with the added bonus of trivia while we waited for our paint to dry. The instructor did a great job explaining each step of the painting and we went home with beautiful paintings both times. We're definitely planning on returning in the near future. read more

We've been to other paiting lessons before attending this one. We felt that the instructor was teaching everything really quickly and wasen't demonstrating her techniques. We had asked the instructor to slow down the pace, but she would continue to paint with a fast pace. A lot of the people in the class felt it was rushed. Overall it was a great place and has a lot of potential, but just need a slower instructor. read more

I hired Happy Little Brush Strokes as a painting activity for a bachelorette party, and the company was so easy to work with from start to finish. I reserved my date several months in advance because their calendar fills up quickly! You're able to choose one of the paintings from their website and adapt it to what you need. I chose to paint full-sized wine bottles (and place fairy lights inside of the bottle so it lights up!) since the bachelorette party was "wine themed." The price was $30 per person for the experience. I believe if you choose to paint a canvas, it's $25 per person. Happy Little Brush Strokes came all the way out to Greenport, Long Island to do this activity. The instructor, Bob, was an absolute delight, who was filled with so much positive energy! He provided everything we needed for the event (paint, brushes, water cups, the wine bottles, fairy lights). The only thing we needed to provide were tables, table cloths, and chairs for our group of 7. The experience took just over two hours, and everyone had an amazing time!
