There are not enough stars to give! This location, the overall experience, and the artists who share their talents and gift of teaching is purely outstanding! Neither my aunt nor I have ever painted and decided to give this a try. We had such a spectacular experience that we were quickly eager to reserve another spot and brought my mother along with us. Dwayne and Julie are extraordinary as everyone is made to feel welcome and it's clear that the paintings are chosen carefully, considering all levels of ability/experience, tailoring guidance/tips to each individual. We have already booked our next two sessions (bringing additional friends) and are starting to plan a private event for later in the year. I had such an amazing experience here at Wine and Design ! My sister held her birthday party here and the vibes were top tier to say the least. The owner Dwayne is amazing, he made the experience memorable from the music in the background to his encouragements even if you're painting didn't look the best in your eyes lol. Autum was also a great paint instructor she created a judge free zone. We also had a karaoke night, which added to the amazing experience. Basically if you're thinking about coming here DO IT ! I came here with my coworkers after work on a Thursday night to get our paint and sip on. It is conveniently located in RVC where there is tons of parking. The owner of the store was super nice and accommodating. She made sure everyone was comfortable and everyone got what they needed. It was $40 for a open paint night and the drinks were super cheap too. They have no food but you are allowed to bring it. You have to pick your piece before you go because the owner sketches the painting for you. I was so happy with the way my picture came out and I would return. It's a small place but its so cozy and nice for an intimate night with the girls or a date night! read more

Came with my family on a Friday night. The instructor was very nice and I'm surprised I finished the painting with the class time of 2 hrs. Even arriving a min or so after the dedicated time, we had seating available and our materials were ready and organized to get started. This was my first time at the facility so I didn't know what offerings were available. It would've been nice for that to explained so I can order drinks and stuff. But otherwise it was a decent place and fun activity to do with family and friends. read more

I feel bad that I can't remember the owner's name but she was cool. I had a private birthday party done at my home and the planning process was fairly smooth. Had to give her my information and preferences a couple different times because she kept misplacing it, but that was the only annoying thing. Once she got to the party she was very engaging and helpful. She had great options to choose from for us to paint and the one we chose was awesome - everyone created they're own drunken version of it. She was even patient as my 3 year old son joined in to paint as well. Would definitely recommend - charged about $45pp read more

My friend hosted her birthday party here this past October and they were great! The owner let my friend bring in a spread from Press 195 across the lot and we could BYOB. They also had a cute step by step haunted house painting for us to follow all accompanied by a spooky soundtrack. My cousin and I booked and she ended up coming like an hour late and the owner )whose name I can't remember) was very sweet about letting us stay until we finished. There was another guy who worked there who was very sweet and cool also. We both enjoyed ourselves. The only annoying thing was this random lady who came in, literally looked at my panting, picked up the paint brush asked me a couple of questions and started scribbling. Im thinking she was going to help and correct something but she literally just started scribbling. I told her to stop because she's messing up my painting and she did. I think she must of worked there part time or something or was trying to get a job there. Anyway other than that I had a great time and will probably be back again. read more

Three out of five stars because there were some pros and cons. The instructor is nice and the class was good, however, we signed up at 2:30pm on the day of the class. The class was at 7pm and we got there at 6:55. The instructor then asks if we were walk ins, which we weren't. She asked if we signed up today, and I said yes. She then explained that the owner counted only 8 people on the list, and she only did 8 sketches. Mind you, i paid $78 for two of us. She apologized to the class and said "Some times we end up having unexpected people" and she outlined our sketches. I was so embarrassed because we did sign up, what if it was another group who signed up last minute? Disappointed. read more

I came to the Friday night class on April 6 with my two girlfriends. I purchased my ticket on their website, and the first time, it didn't go through, but the second time, it did. I was worried I would be charged twice.. stay tuned. anyways, this was my first paint class and Natalie was our instructor. I walked in at about 8:05 (class started at 8pm) since parking was crazy. It still was not crowded and the blank canvases were not even on the table. My friend and I signed in on a sheet and went to get a glass of wine. Natalie was drawing on the canvases while pouring the wine at the same time. She stated that she was the only person there that night so she was extremely busy and frazzled. Understandable. I ordered a white wine and my friend got a glass of red, which she later stated was stale since the bottle had been opened prior. We each paid, got our change and went back to our seats to wait to get started. Natalie then came over to give us our canvases and made a comment on how we didn't pay for the wine. When we stated that we did, she mumbled under her breath, "well I hope so since there's cameras and my boss will see." We told her to look at the cameras then. (She was the busy one so she be more aware of what she is doing instead of making accusations.) After waiting about 20 minutes, we finally got started. I think Natalie's instructions could have been more descriptive and detailed. I know paint nites encourage each person's artistic abilities, but she would say "okay, use the blue only on the sides and corner." I followed her lead and when she walked around checking everyone's painting, she would say, "why didn't you go inwards?" -'Well, because you didn't say that in your instructions so I didn't know if we were going to use another color in the middle.' About an hour into the class, Natalie then made a comment about picking up the pace because we needed to be out of there by 10. I didn't think this was right since the class started late because she was still doing the outlines for everyone's canvas, so the time should not be taken out on the customer. The canvasses should have been ready to go before the class started. Another thing I noticed is Natalie did not even check to see if everyone paid. A person on the street could have walked in, signed in, and done the class free of charge. (unless she did and I did not see her do it.) When I got my credit card statement in the mail, I noticed I was charged twice for the class. I called the number on the website and left a voicemail with a woman named Pam explaining the situation. I never received a call back. However, I did see a refund credited on my credit card statement. I still think a call back would have been the right thing to do. To conclude, I would not come back to this location. read more

So me and a few co workers went here two weeks ago and we had an amazing experience. We can be kinda rowdy and goofy and Natalie who was our instructor was amazing. She let us work at our own pace and helped those who needed it. We are so super happy and we will definitely be going back to paint with Natalie. read more
