Our class leader Louis was a blast and entertainment, and kept us going and taught us a lot about painting and made it so much fun! He clearly loves his job is such a professional and very talented at teaching others how to paint while making it super fun. We had music all through the class, played games, and laughed about our work!

This was a fun way to spend some time with the family. They had music trivia throughout the class which was a fun surprise. I only didn't give 5 stars because I don't think I'd be back personally.

John Paul was so helpful, extremely patient with all of us in the class. I will def be returning to this location. The atmosphere is pleasant and warming. Love the vibes. Also not to mention Elle also is amazing, very helpful and sweet.

Our group had a blast! John Paul made it so fun! Definitely recommend the Heights location!

My girlfriend and I found this place a while ago for date night. Jean-Paul has made every experience awesome. Besides being an amazing painter and teacher, his classes are funny, entertaining, and overall just a good time. Because of his great work we've made this a monthly date night, and always look for when Jean-Paul is teaching. Great work! See you soon.

Having been to several of the different painting venues this one was by far the funnest. It makes a huge difference when the staff makes it fun definitely helps to keep it from becoming to a task. Its the same service provided at the other locations but staff and location make a difference. I will drive out of my way to come back here. Fun date event for sure - I would highly recommend coming here on a date or with a group of friends.

Private room for our group party

I've been to this location twice now for painting classes and couldn't be happier! I came here recently for a work party and we were able to secure the private room since we had a small group. We had a group of 16 girls and were easily able to book the room a few weeks in advance for a Saturday afternoon class. There is a free, private parking lot in front of the store with plenty of spaces. This place is BYOB so feel free to bring as many bottles of wine as you like! A large bucket of ice is provided if you want your wine chilled and they also provide wine glasses and bottle openers. You can also bring your own food to eat- I suggest finger foods as it's easier to eat something quick and small while painting. They also provide you with aprons to protect your clothes from being painted on. TIP- don't wear anything super expensive or special to you- there's a huge risk of getting paint on yourself and we are told it will NOT wash out of clothing. BUT if you happen to get it on your hands or skin (which you WILL)- it will definitely wash out (after a few hand washings). PWAT has thousands of paintings to choose from and if you book a private group party, they allow you to choose whichever painting you want (they email you the link for private group parties). Otherwise, they have a calendar online that shows you which paintings they will be doing each day. Booking is very quick and easy to do online as well. The instructor we had for our group painting was Stacy and she was awesome! So engaging and fun, she made the class extremely entertaining. There were contests and music blasting- the 2 hours I was there flew by extremely quickly. The instructor gives you step by step instructions on how to paint your masterpiece so listen closely!! Stacy went super fast with her instructions so be sure to keep up or speak up if you're behind. My painting didn't turn out too bad (I am super NOT artistic and had low hopes for myself) so I really can't complain. This is definitely a fun night for a group outing or even for date night! Don't be scared or intimidated- even if you're a super UN-artistic, non-creative person like me you will still have a good time, I guarantee it!!

ART, GOOD VIBEZ, GOOD COMPANY & WINE!…read more A good friend of mine recently celebrated her birthday at this establishment! This was my absolute first time experiencing the Paint and Sip Scene, and I totally enjoyed myself! I'm so glad I was able to join my friend and help her celebrate, because this was truly a rare treat as I have not been out in a good while. The atmosphere was very relaxing as we sipped wine and champagne while painting and enjoying the music that was blaring out of the overhead speakers. We were allowed to bring our own bottles of champagne, wines, and other liquors. The business owners provided two shots of some type of milky looking liquor called Mona Mint, which did not appeal to me, so I turned it down when they offered me one. I overheard some of the other guests from our party complaining among one another, saying that it tasted weird and they did not like it. See, I'm so glad that I followed my first mind, and turned it down, lol. Furthermore, this establishment does not provide or sell any food, but you are allowed to bring your own food inside for parties. My friend informed me that she was required to pay a deposit in order to book her party. However, other requirements were that half of her party were to pre-purchase their tickets by a certain deadline, and if that requirement was not met in a timely manner, then her party would be canceled and she would not be given a refund for her deposit. The tickets were $50 per person. I paid my money in advance like my friend requested her guests to do, but some of them did not do this by the required date. As a result, my friend's party was nearly canceled and I was not going to be refunded my $50 and nor would my friend be refunded her deposit. However, she made some phone calls to her guests to reiterate the importance of them purchasing their ticket because her party was being threatened of cancellation by the business owner due to half of her party not purchasing their tickets by the deadline. To make a long story short, everyone finally purchased their tickets and all was well in Art-Land. The party did not get canceled but it was a close call. So if you plan on celebrating your birthday at this establishment, please be sure that your guests are well aware of the seriousness about paying by the deadline, unless you have money to throw away. Moreover, the space that was provided for the party was enormously spacious! There was plenty of room for dancing, painting, and for setting up the food and bottles of champagne and wines. There were also plenty of photo selfie backgrounds for taking photos with friends and family. Upon arrival our tables were already set up with everyone's canvases, paint brushes, cups of water, napkins, and aprons provided. The young lady that hosted the party was extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She instructed us on how to mix our primary colors in order to create any secondary colors if needed, like orange, purple, or green. She also instructed us on what to do if we got any paint on our clothes or hands. Overall, the concept of art and wine, sipping while painting, and female bonding, is a great collaboration of relaxing and enjoying art without the pressures of actually having art lessons. It's a fun, creative, and exciting way for one to explore their artistic side in a relaxed and chilled social environment. I would definitely like to experience this refreshing, peaceful, and informal ambiance once again. I rated them four stars based on the friendliness and professionalism of the staff members. Would have given them five stars, but since it's only my first experience visiting a sip and paint establishment, I am unable to make a comparison to another sip and paint establishment. However, I do recommend this business, but please be careful with making your deposit and asking your guests to pre-purchase their tickets. You will not get any refunds if you do not meet their requirements.

They made sure to turn it down when the instructor was speaking. The instructor was more than happy to help if you did or even if you didn't chose to follow the painting, as I did not. They had shots on the house and $30 hookah that lasted us the whole time there. After class was over, we were told we could stay after and finish our painting had we not finished. The only downside I could find is not being able to pick the class painting. It would be nice if after payment they allowed everyone to pick a painting from a few options and which ever template is choose the most should be used for the class.

Now, I'm no expert at painting, but I appreciated how difficult it was to get the colors, shadows, lighting, textures, and movement right. I enjoyed mixing colors and trying my best to paint the right strokes. Our instructor, Juan, made painting approachable and fun. He brought humor to our class as well. There were other staff helping to make sure people didn't run out of paint colors, especially yellow and white for this painting. This was still a timed class so we didn't have a ton of time to learn exactly how to paint certain parts right. Overall, everyone's paintings came out great, with each person bringing their own take on the prototype painting. Like other painting classes, you can bring drinks and snacks. But, I didn't eat anything because I was so focused on the painting. I would recommend eating prior to the event. As a group activity, this is great as a team bonding and relaxation experience. I would definitely come again with friends or family.
