This was my first time doing painting with a twist, and it was so much fun! Our instructor was so much fun, she had a great playlist and made the class so entertaining! My husband and I did a couples painting, which truly challenges every single drop of your patience. But of course we got over it even though our painting was a tad bit disastrous. We had a lot of fun and love that you can bring drinks and snacks, we definitely took that part to heart! Painting with a twist is great to do on a date night or a girls night out or even by yourself to just check out of everything else going on in life and disappear for a moment. The class was about two hours long, and you would be surprised how hard it is to focus on one singular task for that that long. I definitely recommend doing this at least once in your life, so much fun! read more

My boyfriend and I went on a date here in November and for 7 months now I go about once a month for some me time or a girls day out with friends. It's always so fun and relaxing! My favorite are Missy and Amy they are awesome! They both do a great job helping with techniques. Highly recommended talking a class with them. read more

Great experience! Tony and Zoe made our team building event very fun. Their energy and enthusiasm carried our group throughout our scheduled session. The layout is efficient and practical. They even have artwork available for purchase if your painting turns out as expected. Just follow their lead and your painting will come out much better than expected. Overall 5 stars for their efficient and practical layout and most importantly their energy and enthusiasm for painting with a twist! read more

Went with a friend to the choose your own painting option. I chose the Succulent's because I love my succulents. They were so helpful and my painting turned out so cute, several people made a claim on the picture. My friend and I are planning on making it a monthly adventure so that we can add new art to our house. read more

Even with the great reviews, better than expected. Fun, lively experience. What surprised me, on this first experience with painting like this, is the high volume music, fast pace, professionalism. When reading on the website that it's relaxing, I imagined classical music, slow, spa like venue. Far from it, though if you book a private party you can control much more, like music. Very well planned and executed performance by the leader teacher. They have everything you need ready to go at your stations and assistants that walk around. Everyone is very affirming. You never feel like a failure, though I know why they allow wine and I'm glad we had it. I'm a perfectionist and it took me awhile to relax and just let my broad brush have its way. Loved how we registered online, even the last minute, where you see how full the class is and what you are painting. They have a free club you earn points and goodies like future classes. You can also request special seating together or whatever your needs are. Staff was unbelievable. Beyond friendly, felt like we were old friends. Although we stayed late after, as they cleaned, they never rushed us and was so accommodating, taking pics of us, etc. Gotta come, if I can do it, anyone can. But bring the wine! Some people brought cheese and snacks too as they let you break for a short time, while the paint dries. read more

My lady and I went here with her coworkers as a group event. It was our first time going to one. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I actually enjoyed participating. Of course, bring your own wine to enjoy while making a masterpiece! Our teacher had us all laughing the entire time. This place is definitely recommended. read more

Decided to try something new thanks to a friends recommendation. So we came and painted a portrait of our puppies. Honestly I was dubious. I've never painted in my life nor has my mother. We worked at it. We were dubious. We were disappointed. In the end we were amazed. Come give it a try. They came out pretty awesome!!! Well worth the money and time. Laura was great. I've been to both this location and the one in New Braunfels and they are both so much fun. The artists are so nice and really make you feel comfortable. This is a great place for a date night but also fun for kids too. Make sure to get Laura as your artist. She is great. read more

I went with my girlfriends and we had so much fun! I was very nervous because I have absolutely no skills in painting or anything to do with Art. We were able to bring in our own snacks and wine which was cool. Definitely gonna do another one soon. The instructor was pretty fun too. read more

Painted (with a twist ) for the first time last night. Studio was very clean, staff was very kind, welcoming and motivating. Our class leader, Chanté, did an AWESOME job and I would 100% recommend taking a class she leads! We were in a smaller group (10 people total) so Chanté was able to lead the class solo and still have time to assist everyone. She seriously impressed me! Amidst my anxiety to create the perfect painting, she was encouraging and offered great tips and tricks the entire time. 11/10 read more

I love this location. The staff is great. My kids had just finished up the kids art camp this week and it was cool seeing everything they had created throughout the week. I like that on top of whatever they had planned to paint during that day they had little mini side projects to help let loose and take a break. read more

I absolutely love this location. I know they have only been open a short time they have been fantastic and helpful when I have called. I needed to plan my birthday party and I expected to wait at least a day for a return email. They not only responded within an hour but continued to respond to my million emails. When I called and finalized the plans the staff responded immediately with all information. I absolutely love the service!!! I have painted at other locations and this has been the best to paint with and speak to!!! You all are AWESOME! read more

Staff is AMAZING!!! They are so helpful, and fun. They can help u fix ur mistakes and can always help ur picture look like a wonderful work of art u would be proud to hang up in ur house. I like everything about this place except the "rush finish the painting feeling" the instructor I had was slightly over the top animated and spoke the whole 2 hrs. A few moments of quiet would have been nice when your trying to relax. All in all slightly pricey but worth the splurge to paint. Too bad for that price they don't offer any basic drinks. read more

This place has the system where your winning points are stored to a card, like Dave and Busters, and one guy in our group had a good 10,000 points on it. Some of the points were from an awesome victory of knocking over a coin tower on that game that takes more patience than I have to get all the coins at the edge. Sadly, he left his card behind on accident, which ended up getting stolen. The great news is the staff handled it quickly. They were able to transfer his points to another card before it was used and gave him free movie and food vouchers. What outstanding customer service! I will have to return for some bowling, and it looks like they have virtual reality activities as well. The prices seem pretty reasonable compared to several of the competitors. I can't wait to come back for great food and customer service!

I proceeded to the concession stand to purchase snacks and beverages and then to the theater entrance. At this point, they asked to check my bag a SECOND time. So, balancing my popcorn and beverage, I had to unzip my purse again for another bag check. At this check, the teenager barely glanced in the bag. I was quite annoyed at this inconvenience and cursory second check. My issue is that the bag checks seemed haphazard, not consistent (every bag, every time), nor thorough ( the teenager at the second check was bored and going through the motions). I've since been in contact with Santikos Guest Services as well as the manager at the Cibolo location. Guest Services shared that it is corporate policy to check all bags upon entry, but the second bag check is location-specific and not part of the whole corporate policy. The manager at that location stated that they need to recheck bags because all the doors into the theater do not have checkpoints - the bar area, for example, does not have a checkpoint at that door. She shared that they will be setting up a checkpoint there at some time in the future. At this point, however, there is not one there, so were you to enter through that door and not go to the theater, but rather the arcade or bowling, you would not have your bag checked at all. This is a HUGE safety risk if that is their true intention. If this were truly a safety concern, and they ARE aware of the unchecked door, then I have a serious issue with them keeping their patrons safe. If this is more to protect their bottom line of not bringing your own outside snacks, etc. in, then I am greatly disappointed in their customer service. Either way, I won't be returning to this location after the poor customer service. A night at the movies has become too expensive to deal with these issues. I will gladly drive elsewhere to have a better experience, and I suggest you do the same.

I was unable to order my tickets online. My gift cards showed a balance, but couldn't be used for checkout for unknown reasons. No worries, I'll just go with a less frequented movie that I don't wanna see as much, and wait in your lobby to order tickets for some random poor seats, like we used to do in the old-fashioned days. Once seated the gift cards can't be used to order food. For some reason, Drafthouse requires a credit card to do so within their app. But, you can leave your movie 20 minutes in, and order food from the lobby, and never see the waiter again for things such as refills on drinks or allegedly unlimited popcorn. I won't be buying Drafthouse gift cards from Costco again, because as far as I can tell, they're just some sort of Ponzi scheme to collect my credit card number, name, and other pertinent details. But, I don't think I'll be attending Drafthouse again at all, because gift cards aside their entire thing was providing you a waiter and getting your food during your movie, and they've managed to mess that up entirely.
