On the day of, we spent time designing a beautiful and delicious charcuterie platter. Then it was time to really roll up our sleeves. We sanded, aged, stained, stenciled, painted, sanded some more and drilled our way to our final masterpieces. The Instructors and Assistants were all very helpful and patient. They came around and offered assistance and guidance at every step of the project. I must have changed my mind 3 times each on stain and paint colors. This workshop was a lot of fun and well-worth the drive to Melbourne. I definitely recommended checking them out, especially if you enjoy hands-on crafty projects.

They have ample seating and the place has great lighting. Unfortunately, they only have a small selection to choose from and the prices on the small pieces are just as much as the larger ones. The paint station is limited, but they do have a lot of paint in the small squeeze jars. I do like that they have several drying stations. The man working, who I assume is the owner was very nice and helpful. Because we live near a studio that is five star we probably won't be visiting here again,

You cannot reserve a seat, it's first come first serve. However I will say this theatre is never too busy and we have always found a great seat. You can buy your tickets in advance online or in person at concessions. They also have a rewards program with all purchases. Ticket prices are pretty standard but they do have really great specials, such as $5 tickets on Tuesday's. The concessions are similar to any other theatre. One thing that makes this theatre stand out is the nice seasoning station including nacho cheese, white cheddar and kettle corn. Comfort wise the theatres are very classically decorated with velvet walls. I feel it models a more old fashion look which is charming. The seats do not recline but they are comfortable. Apparently in the future they are having recliner chairs installed. That's very exciting. Overall we really like this theater and despite living in Cocoa and having a little drive, we really enjoy coming here. Can't wait for our next family movie.

The theater is on the south side of the mall (Fortenberry Road access) and inside, it is directly across from the food court. Plenty of well-lit parking. It is clean and well-maintained except for the handrails inside the theater which are sticky. The staff are pleasant, and helpful. We signed up for the rewards program. It is wheelchair accessible with special seating and with seats removed so you can stay in your wheelchair. The IMAX theater (#2) is beyond loud. You can feel the vibration in your chest. Unnecessarily loud. In some scenes, the dialogue was unintelligible. The "IMAX" is not like the usual "IMAX". IDK if it is because it is old or just inferior. I do not see a reason to view the Odyssey movie using the IMAX over just a regular projected film.

It was better than the first half. IMO

Awesome place, awesome good time! All the artists are extremely talented and each of their unique personalities come through in their artistry. You really need to go multiple times to experience each one. Melbourne needed something like this and this is something that the whole family can participate in and enjoy as well. Kudos to the owners for offering this as a new entertainment venue. Having been to several other painting with a twist franchises in the state of Florida, this one is by far the nicest studio I've been to. Plenty of space for a lot of people in both the main room and party room and tastefully decorated. Will be coming back quite often bringing friends with me. read more

Sadly, since the new ownership took over, the experience has drastically gone downhill. On their most recent visit, they were told--quite abruptly--that moving forward they would only be allowed to come in twice per piece, and that painting must be completed within six months of purchase. This was never a policy before, and the way it was communicated felt aggressive and unwelcoming. Disheartened by the interaction, they decided it would be their last time visiting Mimi's. To make matters worse, when they were called to say their pieces had finished firing, they were informed one of them had broken--without a hint of an apology. The only "resolution" offered was a gift card for the original value or nothing at all. When they went to pick up what was left of the piece, the owner was present and still didn't offer a single apology. This is not the kind of customer service or family-friendly environment we used to know and love. It's deeply disappointing to see such a treasured place become so unaccommodating and indifferent toward long-time customers. We will be taking our business--and our loyalty--to one of the many other paint-your-own studios in the area that still prioritize kindness, flexibility, and community. And when leaving a review on google to express these issues, it felt like we were responded to with a chatgpt answer, because it wasn't even being addressed to the correct person. Which felt even more impersonal.
