The place is on the smaller side and was packed. I'm sure the kids being on break had it more slammed than normal. The entire place was nice and cleaned (very organized). It is definitely expensive and not something we would do again soon. Maybe a mom night out in the future. I deducted a star because honestly parking is a nightmare. I was not familiar with the area and there was street parking... random paying parking, there was no clear sign for the parking behind their building (an email said that there was parking behind there). This place would be soooo great if there was a real parking lot, maybe in the future in another location. I do recommend this as something fun to do.

As for the classes, there has never been a place in this area since I have lived here as far as I know. There are classes on jewelry, mosaics, soldering techniques, textiles (I made my own cloth), resin jewelry, and much more. Artistic instructors have come from as far as Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and even Australia to teach at Art More Place. Fearless leader Sherri O wanted to create a place that offered artistic adventures as well as community and she has done a great job. I have always wanted to do a painting class and this was so much fun. I decided it would be really…read morefun to do this with my mom since our birthdays are one after the other. I also invited our family and some friends. It was everyone's first time taking a Painting with a twist class and we all loved it. They allow you to bring your own drink and food. We brought wine and a charcuterie board and it was so easy to munch and sip through out the class. I loved how they have the stations set up and aprons to use. They play fun music and the class is very easy to follow. I was surprised by how great we all did and it was very cool to compare our art at the end. The teacher was very sweet and had a great personality for teaching. Overall the class was worth every $ and we would love to come back and do another class soon. As locals it's great to try something new in our neighborhood.

It really doesn't matter if you are artist or not...just go do it…read more.. I didn't know what to expect, other than spending time with good friends in what I figured was a painting class. What I got was a fun, entertaining, and truly special evening all the while painting (which I had never done in my life. The moment you walk in, the staff helps with the selection of colors, the prep and points you to your assigned seats (written down by name!) Then that's where the fun begins. The artist walks you through, step-by-step on how to pull of the painting - I had my doubts I could actually do it, but even though I'm saying this myself, I think I did a pretty good job. There was friendly and fun banter throughout the whole process, a break period where we had a fun game drawing a cow (or was it a giraffe?) and even someone won a prize. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'm already looking forward to going back again (and more.)

I want so much to love this place, because we truly did have a good time. But after spending over 5…read morehours working on a single piece only to to pick it up and find that there were things now glazed into it that I can see and feel, I'm just so disappointed. We Spencer over $150 on three pieces and for the most part they are fine. But when I look at my price all I see are things that look like snot that somehow ended up on my piece. The thing about them is that there are prices of it sticking out so it's not even something smooth. The staff, or at least the one staff member that actually paid attention to us, Sophia, was great. The owners would float around and they were nice but not very tentative. I'm so unbelievably upset about the objects in the glaze and I don't think I would go back between the price and the glazing disappointment.

This is absolutely a place for kids or families as well as fantastic for ladies night out or couples or even date night. There is also an adorable wine bar named the Bayou attached. They have hundreds of wines to choose from as well as snacks, including fish dip, and flatbreads, and all sorts of stuff.
