We got to know Owen a little bit before others started to show up and got the feel of the place before starting. Overall, it was a lot of fun and Owen is an amazing instructor. Not to mention he is super funny. I will be back for sure and looking forward to it although I have no talent and can't paint. So...if someone says they have two left feet and can't dance...can I say I have two left hands and can't paint? Trying to find an excuse here! So why go if I have no talent, can't paint, or whatever? Answer: If you've done it before then you understand...it's just a fun social time. If you haven't done it, then I highly recommend to rip off that Band-Aid (for the lack of a better term) and just do it!!! It's so much fun and some folks may be surprised at what talent does lurk in inside! Please contact them for hours. Hours vary according to the party. In addition to a party time, they are open slightly before for check in. Plus, they are open after the party is technically over for those folks that want to finish and/or fix things on their painting. I need to give a shout out and tip my hat to Owen. Unfortunately, there was a horrible family attending the evening that we attended. It could have been really off-putting to a new customer and had the potential to really turn bad. One child in attendance was beyond rude, quite cruel, and even threatening at times. Words can't describe this child and his adults did nothing. I've never experienced anything like it. Everyone else in the room kept gasping every time this kid opened his mouth. All of us were in shock at the things that fell out of this kid's mouth except the adults with the child, but Owen kept his cool. Some ladies tried to say things jokingly/lightly to get the kid to stop, but he wouldn't. We all felt uncomfortable at times. If anyone, be it Owen as the instructor or another customer, would have literally confronted the situation I feel it would have gotten really, really nasty from the vibe in the room and it would have escalated quickly into something out of control. But Owen...he kept his cool, let things roll off as best as he could although he was visibly shaken at times. He found a way to make us laugh and keep our minds off this kid...or try to. This behavior was so completely uncalled for and Owen didn't deserve it. But WOW...I have to hand it to Owen...he was a total professional. I'm still in shock at the lack of response from the adults with this kid since they just stayed quiet...incredibly quiet. Owen...I don't know how you did it...but you're Awesome!

Hannah was so helpful, she kept coming over and giving individual attention and helped us with our mess ups. I will be back and bring more friends. I also did a class two weeks back with Dylan painting a tree and ended up loving it. I made space on my already crowded walls for it. Dylan still give individual attention even though the class was much bigger.

Just the right about the chit chat and laughing back and forth for a week night activity. Dylan was instructing us on how to paint some happy trees in true Bob Ross style which was very fun! We took a break half way which was nice to be able to eat some snacks we brought and refill in the wine. We brought finger sandwiches to eat which was perfect. Another party brought a full cooler which the class got a kick out of. The studio provides all the paint, brushes, canvas while your instructor leads you step by step through the process. Even if you don't think you have any painting skills, these classes are good from amateur's to professionals! I think the price for what you get out of the class was great. The canvas was huge and I now have a lovely new décor piece for my wall of my own creation! Definitely recommend this studio!

It's not just a woman's activity either - a lot of couples and groups come, and the men seem to have a great time too (and it is BYOB). I've been there twice, and both times were so much fun. The staff does a great job of keeping an eye out for questions and tips for your painting, while explaining how to get different desired effects (one staff member paints while the other walks the room). They break up the painting time with fun games, like pass the wine cork, that results in prizes from paint pens to gift certificates for future visits. And if you make a mistake your inner perfectionist just can't live with, they offer an SOS class once a months where you can being in your painting and fix whatever your heart desires. The two hour class went by in a flash and I left with a picture I'm quite proud of. I cant wait to go again! Our instuctor was Emma and she was awesome. She took us step by step, giving us ample time to finish each step before moving on. She also walked the room assisting wherever anyone needed. At the beginning of class we each put on an apron, Emma went over our tools (canvas, 3 paintbrushes, cup of water, paper towel, and colors...that was it!), and it was time to begin. About an hour in we were given a 15-20 min break to walk around the hotel (our class was held at Embassy Orlando), use the restroom, etc...Once class was over Emma took a picture of each of us, with our paintings, for their FB page. This is perfect for date night (while women dominated, there were guys), ladies night, birthday, etc...No food was served but drinks were on hand for purchase.

Let me start by saying that the event was sold out so the class was full. The room was loud which made it quite difficult to follow and hear the instructor. I have to say that our instructor did an great job at walking us through the different steps. She also walked around the room to help anyone who needed advice or any kind of assistance. She also gave us a 15 mins break to touch up/ finish up, refill our drinks, etc. My criticism for the class is as follows: 1) I felt that the room we had was too small for the size of the class 2) I think the seating should have been better arranged. My friend and I had our backs to the instructor making it hard to follow 3) I know paint nite is supposed to be a great time with friends but at the same time I feel it is important to respect the other participants so that they could also enjoy the experience. My overall experience was OK. I completed the painting but it didn't really look like the example because I skipped a few step, being unable to hear the instructor. I'd like to reiterate that the instructor was AWESOME and did a good job. Some of the participants were loud and it made it hard for others to enjoy.
