Nice place to have a good time. Choose wisely what you are going to paint, this is more of a challenge than a painting class- chances are you won't learn much if you have any painting experience. Stopped in here intending to paint, but we missed the start of the class my an hour, because we aren't morning people. Though we didn't get to paint Baby Yoda CJ answered all our questions and even took the time to look up an image of Christmas Baby Yoda that my cousin could do at a later date. CJ also answered questions we had about a private party for our Girl Scout Troop. Tons of options for paintings. The place was cute and spacious. Can't wait to go back and paint. Personally would not recommend. Sounds great and I expected a nice, enjoyable time but was instead rushed through the painting and out the door. Many people in my group felt rushed, did not finish and then were hurried out. I was playing catch up the last half which was very stressful. When the instructor completed his, we were asked to stop and come to the front for a group photo... During this time, the staff rushed in and cleared all painting supplies. I understand that unlimited time is not possible, but considering we are paying a pretty good amount... Sufficient time should be given. I walked away so frustrated, my boyfriend and I hurried across the street to Bahama Breeze where we had a lot more fun. Bottom line: if you're looking to get bang for your bucks, go somewhere else! read more

I had a great time. The person that lead our party was a man. We had not idea that we were there for a fundraiser night but we were a welcomed addition for helping with the special olympics cause. I learned a lot of new painting techniques I had never used and was very happy for the instruction. I am not an avid painter but I enjoy drawing. They made it look and feel so simple. Took my girlfriend and her family painting the other night! The class was fun and the instructor, Baillie, was AWESOME! Very well priced. My only complaint is that you can't bring your own alcohol. However, you can bring food and the alcohol they serve is reasonably priced. read more

My wife has done numerous classes at Painting with a Twist in Daytona Beach, Alta Monte Springs, and St. Louis , she raved about how nice, helpful and friendly the staff is. So I decided to give it a try and I have to say it was the most relaxing 2 hours of my life and you get to drink while doing the class bonus!!! The atmosphere is laid back, fun and the staff is more then helpful, the owner TJ was incredibly nice and personable and went around and spoke with all patrons before and after the class. SO MUCH FUN. The staff is great, funny, and helpful. It was easy to make the appointment online, and easy to find. We painted an awesome picture, had a few beers, and had a blast. We went for my birthday, but this would be great for groups, and they have date night for couples that each paint a side of the painting to make one beautiful one. I recommend this to anyone in the Daytona Beach area, especially since a lot of times we're limited to bars and beach haha. This is very refreshing. read more

I just wanted to take a second to write my experience with Painting with a Twist so far...I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN THERE YET!! I have done a few of these where I live in NJ, but my parents live in the Daytona area and I was dying to do this with my mom on my visit there this coming June. I sent an email to inquire about dates in June since they weren't out on the calendar yet, I promptly received a return email from TJ letting me know that I could pick a picture and a date that worked for us!
