I placed the request through Yelp and got a response right away. Juan scheduled the initial visit promptly and we received the proposal quickly. The bid was within the range we expected and they proposed replacing our gutters which was something we hadn't requested. The gutters were the item that tipped us to choosing this group. We were delighted with the speed with which the job was scheduled. The weather caused a slight delay but they finished quickly and left no mess behind! I liked that we were kept informed on the progress; we regularly received photos and communications especially when sections of the roof were found to be in rough shape. This company was hired to replace some steps and railings in March/April 2021…read more They choose to use low quality pre manufactured materials from home depot for my project. The price charged to me for this hardware exceed standard markups by a considerable amount. Had I known this is what they were sourcing and marking up, I'd of just boughten it myself, as the store is close by. When the material was delivered, the delivery service didn't even know what they were delivering, and when the order seemed wrong they didn't know what I was talking about. The top railing was chipped and of extremely poor quality, and when it was installed, the posts were initially cut incorrectly to high, and didn't match where the railing should of been height wise on the posts. Upon asking the contractor to fix, I watched him remove the thick wooden blocks mounted to the floor that the posts were mounted on. When he reinstalled the shorten posts, the contractor never put blocks back on. The only thing securing the posts now were small 1" screws around the newel posts to my pergo floor. The entire thing was loose and was shaking considerably. At no point did the contractor ever address this. The steps that were installed were improperly cut and notches are visible where there shouldn't be any. The contractor damaged the sheetrock in the closet below my steps(this was not noticed until later). The staining was of poor quality and drastically different shades on each step. At that point, I told the contractor not to return for touch ups. The railing has since been removed and the original installed due to safety concerns and shoddy materials used. No amount of touch ups would of made the materials better. The company overcharges for materials by an excessive amount and labor as well. I highly suggest you avoid this company unless you prefer to be overcharged for low quality materials and shoddy workmanship.
