BEYOND 5 stars! Bair and his support team are hands down the best painters in New York City. Their work speaks for itself - the work that they did in our 2 bedroom apartment exceeded our expectations (for the standard paint walls, the lime wash walls, and wallpaper installation). Also, this was my first paint job, and I will be hiring Bair for my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and however many I have in the years ahead. That's because he executes remarkably well, if there's anything to fix/repair/do better then he goes out of his way to do it, and he is incredibly communicative and organized. I didn't realize how much work beyond the painting itself goes into a job like this. Pick out the paint you need and that's it - let the pros do the work...that's what I thought. But that is oh so wrong. You need to coordinate with the paint team on paint color of course, but also paint finish, exact surfaces/walls/doors/ ceilings/trims to be painted, what items have to be removed from walls (e.g., TVs, paintings, blinds) or ceilings (and put pack), scheduling paint time slots, moving all furniture/light switch panels/etc., checking the work for desired outcome, repainting where needed, cleanup...it takes an immense amount of effort, care, dedication to craft.
