He said it was on his notes but was not mentioned in the estimate. When I went to jump my daughters, car was shocked to find that the hood would not stay up. Think information that important should have been told to me when the estimate was complete. My shocks worked the last time I opened my hood.

I brought my car here after being rear ended in December 2018…read more Despite the negative reviews before me, I really wanted to give them a chance, boy was I wrong. After spending almost one hour with me going over the damage done to my car (a 2014 Nissan Altima), I was told that most likely the insurance company would deem my car a total loss. At the same time I was promised that they would do everything they could to prevent that, and that they would "fight for me, to get my car fixed within the total value of my car, to not deem it totaled." This is done by looking for used and aftermarket parts, and not overcharging for things that do not need to be fixed. So, I felt good leaving, I felt like someone was in my corner and was going to at the least try for me. (Since I did not have GAP insurance, I would be upside down on my car loan - owing more than it's worth) I was told I would be called within one week to get the details. Fast forward... 9 days later I still had not heard anything from anyone, so I decided to call them. I was put on hold at first because they didn't know who I was, then they told me that they didn't have any updates for me, and that they would have to call me back. I received a call back about half an hour later stating that they just got off the phone with the insurance company and they were totaling my car, but feel free to stop by and collect your belongings out of it. Okay, SO.... no one called the insurance company until I called 8 days later, apparently to remind them that my car was there... This was confirmed with State Farm, that no one had contacted them from Carstar until AFTER my phone call to them 8 days later. Long story short, NO ONE fought for me, NO ONE even made a phone call, until I CALLED THEM. Fast forward again... being so upset with this, I decided to take my car out of there and get a second opinion. Two days later, at a different shop, I got a REAL ESTIMATE, that State Farm quickly approved and sent the check for repairs! The second shop was straight forward, gave me regular updates, and fixed every item that was on Carstar's estimate. I am now driving my flawless fixed car every day that CARSTAR deemed "totaled." Do your research before trusting this shop. For being an insurance claim approved body shop PLEASE do your part, THAT YOU PROMISE TO DO CARSTAR, and look for all options on parts - whether NEW/OEM, USED, or AFTERMARKET, it can mean the difference of a total loss for customers. Would not recommend this place.

My mother had two repairs done, one was insurance covered the other she paid out of pocket. She just picked her car up today and could not stop praising the staff there. I believe Chris was the manager and Lisa was the receptionist who she dealt with. She said they were extremely helpful in getting her a rental car thru her insurance and that her car looked better then new when she picked it up. I would highly recommend this shop.

I suggested we order the needed parts…read moresince my car was drivable, they said that they would work on car while parts are ordered, however, being in the business I knew there is a problem. So I let them have my car and exactly like I said my car sat for 2 weeks because parts were still out on order just like I said would happen, in meantime I have to put more money out for my rental as well as my Insurance company paying more for this situation. I would not recommend this body shop. Lastly, the is some minor issues that was not addressed, I called and no one called back. Very disappointed to say the least
