My car's engine wouldn't start so I called Mazda Roadside Assistance and was told that Jaxx would be out to pick me up in an hour (around 4:10). By 4:30, I called Jaxx and couldn't get an answer (busy signal). Call Mazda, they cannot get an answer from Jaxx. So they had to send another towing company (CJ's Tire & Auto, much better), but they couldn't cancel Jaxx because no one could get in touch with them. Around 5:15, I call again, and I actually get someone on the phone. He sounds annoyed and goes, "We're running late, it'll be another 15 - 20 minutes." Then hangs up on me. Thank you, sir. I wasn't emotional and vulnerable at being stranded and maybe looking for any kind of human kindness at all! By 6:00, I get a call from Jaxx and they go, "Where are you?" I repeat my location, the driver responds, "Oh, I'm not near there at all." So I got towed by CJ's Tire & Auto; not only were they ten minutes earlier than the ETA from Mazda, the driver was polite and kind. Meanwhile, I'm filing complaints about Jaxx with Mazda and I hope they lose their contract. read more

My car died this morning and my Mazda Roadside Assistance sent Joe from Jaxx Towing. I have never had to get towed before.. let alone ridden in a tow truck with a random person, so I was a little apprehensive and not too excited about having to deal with this experience this morning. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a friendly, accommodating and all around pleasant person like Joe to come pick me up! He took me to the dealership and we had a great little chat on the way there. Surprisingly enough, it was a GOOD experience getting towed and I can't imagine that's something many people have to say when they are getting their car towed! So hmmmm, where to start. I was slammed into by a careless driver getting onto the PA Turnpike and towed (by EVB Towing - a great experience). I authorized the other's driver's insurance carrier to release my car to have it sent to the shop to be looked at. That company released and contracted with Agero and Jaxx towing to have my car moved less than 5 miles, This was a week ago. Don't know how this company is in business. Towing job was initiated by insurance company. I was notified it would the truck would be there in 70 minutes I waited 1 1/2 hours then called the company was told I was the next job and he would be there in 1/2 hour still a no show. I made 5 other phone calls to the company and given more eats oh 1/2 hour all of which were oblivious lies. After this going on for 5 hours a truck never showed up. I contacted another company and they actually did their job. I've notified my insurance agent and was told they get constant complaints about JAX Towing and no notifying Nationwide about contracting another company to cover our area. read more

If I could give Jaxx Towing 0 stars, I would. My insurance called them to tow my car. Not only did they never show up (and lie about both not having my contact info and not showing up), but when I called and asked why, they assured me the my car would be picked up. In addition to my car not being towed, they didn't even bother to notify me that service wasn't completed. Completely unacceptable. If you have the option, NEVER choose to use Jaxx Towing. read more

I give this company ZERO stars! Called my roadside assistance co. For help when my car died. They set up towing service through Jaxx and I got an ETA 45 mins later at 11:17pm. But Jaxx NEVER showed up and didn't answer repeated calls from me and my insurance co.!!! It's now 12:44am and STILL no response! By the grace of God My kids and I are home safely and have a different tow co. Coming in the morning... hopefully they'll actually do their job! I filed a complaint and my insurance co. Won't be dispatching Jaxx anymore. AWFUL!!!! read more

My VW key wouldn't turn this morning. VW roadside assistance sent out for a tow truck. Company #1, which I waited 2 hours for, said he couldn't do it because the car wouldn't go into neutral- they would have to send a wrecker. Company #2 was another flatbed and that driver said the same. He also said there wasn't enough room in the lot to get my car on the flatbed anyway. In comes company #3- Jaxx towing. The driver, Roy or Ray, was very kind and personable. He got the car in neutral (something the others said couldn't be done) and onto the flatbed in probably about 5-10 minutes. We had a nice conversation about cars, dogs and the neighborhood where I work (also where he grew up) on the way to the dealership. Dealing with Jaxx towing was a decent way to end my crappy day. I would definitely call them should the need arise. read more

Jaxx Towing knowingly & carelessly left me stranded for three long hours on the side of the road. Repeatedly lying to me, call after call, about their tow truck drivers whereabouts! Initially I waited patiently as I was at their mercy. After hours of stupidly & naively waiting for their driver, I get a call from a different driver asking my location and telling me that he was 40minutes away, in the complete opposite direction from the original driver. He was rude & arrogant and when I asked him what happened to the original driver, he acted like I was an idiot and said he knew nothing about it. I then tried calling the main office whom I had been speaking with all of the hours prior, and NOBODY had the common courtesy or decency to answer the phone. I was left stranded, confused, and completely ignored! I am absolutely shocked & dumbfounded at the utter lack of accountability, professionalism & just basic lack of human concern. I only thank God that I was not in a dire situation, elderly or a mother with an infant. Shame on you Jaxx Towing!! Never ever again! read more

Waited for 5 hours for another company to come out and they never showed up. Jaxx towing sent bill out to me and he was here in 15 minutes and was knowledgeable to what was going on with my car. He had me towed back to my shop in no time. Start to finish 35 minutes. I will be calling them directly from now on. Thanks again jaxx read more

This company sucks! They never showed up for a tow. When I called to see where they were, they told me they would "get there when we get there." After waiting over 3 hours, they called my insurance company and actually cancelled on me. Don't use them!! read more
