I too don't know where to begin! From start to finish this was a complete mess! The start of the move was 2 hrs late, they have one truck which, was broken, they had to rent a truck a 20 ft. Truck for 3200 sq. Ft. Home! This requires multiple trips! Several pieces of furniture was damaged, leg broken off dresser and many pieces including the home I was moving into was marred and chipped! They also broke a television because they packed in a personal vehicle !!! The owner stated they would replace, and want to do the right thing!!! He got me on the phone said, well we worked longer than I estimated, this statement of course is being made after I cut him a check!! He then tried to back into what i still owed him, deducting the cost of the tv and wanted me to pay him 50 bucks!! They left items in my old home that I had to move myself as well! Icing on the cake as if you need more.. the owner said I need to tip the movers because the proceeds of the move all go to the owners!!! Use caution as well because they are not insured or bonded!! Stay far, far away! Very to similar to other reviewers the movers arrived 2 hours late with a rented u-haul and essentially 2 men to move a 4000 square foot home. After two long days that tested our patience and the durability of our possessions, we reluctantly paid the contractually agreed upon amount of $2000. Several hours later the owner, Matt began texting me that he kept all of our hardware to reassemble our furniture and would only return it if we sent him $200 through Venmo. Needless to say, we did not wire him money without seeing the hardware and he continued to text increasingly incoherent threats. The next morning he indicated that the hardware was in storage. This is the worst experience I've ever had with the mover. They were late showing up, they damaged my furniture and didn't pad anything they just threw my furniture in the truck. I had to tell the owner to get out of my house he was hollering me in my front room, what a jerk.. Do Not Hire these clowns. The owner Matt Hazen and his son did a poor job on our Move 10-15 miles away and quoted us $45 per hour and his team showed up 2 hours late and brought a small truck to move a large home. We were told that they would be bringing a 26 foot truck and they brought a 17 foot truck which made him and his team have to make more runs across town to get what was a one run job, into 3 trips. It took 3 trips because they forgot things and brought a small truck. Matt Hazen came to our home with a hand written card once he saw our for sale sign in our yard. Thats how we originally came in contact with him and his company and he hand wrote on the card that the move would be $45 per hour. Now when we called to schedule with these guys, they said the rate was $65 an hour but we reminded him that he personally came to our home with a card that states $45 per hour for him and his company to do the move and he agreed. Now lets Fast forward, and this is the unprofessional part- Matt sent about 5 Movers that all showed up 2 hours late and we were never informed that we would be paying these guys $45 EACH PER HOUR. At no point did Matt or his Son Kyle EVER mention this to us until the job was done. We requested an in person quote to show them the stuff we needed move to get an accurate his son came out and quoted us a 5-6 hour max job. Do to these guys messing up all day long, forgetting things, breaking our property--Our Job took 10 hours! So when we got the bill, it was clear that we were taken advantage of. Ripped off and various of our items were broken. So when my wife called the own- Matt and spoke with him over the phone about the Poor Service and Unprofessionalism from his staff. Matt was very apologetic and didn't want to admit guilt when he knew for a fact that his team was two hours late and drove a little truck to move our personal items and over charged us for a terrible job and Matt Turned out to be a complete liar and not a man of his word. He Made claims that all of these emergencies were going on and he got food poisoned ....every time we called to speak with him and give him an opportunity, he just kept piling up the excuses and reasons to not accept responsibility. He agreed to giving us 1 hour refund back lol. Which is a complete joke. And he LIED. We had to text message Him, and Call Him over and over and the Guy never even sent the check! Its been 2 months and now he is screening our phone calls. We run multiple businesses ourselves and this kinda of behavior and service no one should ever have to put up with again. We're writing this post so these scammers never try to pull this crap on someone else. We will be filing a formal complaint with The Better Business Bureau for a Full Refund. The damages to our personal belonging cost more than the move. If that is not paid, we will pursue a Civil Lawsuit again Matt and His Company. read more

we were quoted $1200, plus a 10% discount for military and 5% for paying in cash. Total they tried to charge us $2600. We paid $1400 cash. Upon scheduling we were told that they could start our move at 2pm and guaranteed to be done in 1 day. We have a 2300 sq ft 4 bed 3 bath house. We have a lot of stuff but not more than you'd expect in a house that size. We wanted 4 movers, they said 6 would be best, we trusted their judgement. 2 pm comes and I get a call that they were still at another job having to go back for a few things that wouldn't fit on the truck for a previous move, and they would be here at 3pm. At 3:07pm I got a call from Rich, stating they were en route but depending on traffic would be another 30 or so minutes. He arrived at almost 4 in the U-Haul truck they had rented for our move with one other guy. The others had to stop for gas and would be here soon. He informed me that there were 8 guys but he wasn't sure if they were all staying. I was concerned that having too many people would mean bottle necks as everything was going in one truck. He then quoted me a price of $1326 for the whole house to be moved, and he needed all 8 people to stay they would be done in 3 hours. It was more than I had planned but I said ok. Most of these guys worked really hard despite the fact they had been working since early in the morning at another move. They were so tired that one person put my daughters wooden night stand on a 2 wheeler and rattled it down the stairs causing scratches and dents that can't be repaired. When I pointed this out Rich brought it to the employees attention telling him if he was too tired to carry something he needed to find a new job. 2 hours later they had loaded half my house into the truck. By this point they realized it wouldn't all fit and they would have to make a second trip. He pulled me aside, and told me they weren't going to get it all done in the time frame and in one trip but "we will work with you on the rest" which to me meant they expected me to pay more, he swore that wasn't what he was trying to say, but instructed the guys to move all the big stuff, so that in case we didn't choose to have them complete our move we didn't have big stuff left, just all the boxes. At this point I talked to Matt on the phone. He basically tells me that my move is going to cost $2600 and he work with me, so we didn't have to pay that much. While I was discussing things on the phone with him, the guys started piling our solid wood furniture, into the truck with no wrapping or padding. At one point 2 of our bed rails were placed face to face, set on their end on the concrete and Saran wrapped together, chewing up the finish on the wood. At this point Matt and I couldn't come to an agreement as I wasn't willing to write a check for an unknown amount. And we got the sense that they were going to hold our belongings hostage so my husband took the keys to the moving truck. Rich threatened to call 9-1-1. We finally got it resolved and prepared to leave when the employees started fighting amongst themselves, threating to throw punches, all over money from earlier in the day. 4 of the crew were sent home, and 5 remained for the unload. We arrived at our new house around 7:30, where Matt told the employees not to unload a single piece of our furniture until I had paid $1,000 cash. And said they would finish the job for the $1400 cash I had (I took out extra planning to tip the guys) and then I could pay $500 when my house sells. They didn't start unloading til 8pm when I paid them $500. Rich spent 20-30 mins writing up an IOU, for me to sign (picture posted). They were supposed to go back and get the 2nd load but those guys were exhausted. So I recommended they finish in the morning if possible so the guys could get a break. They all agreed, so we planned for 8:30am. Rich took the money I paid them $1400 cash and gave a couple of the guys $40 cash "to hold them over til morning, when they could get paid the rest" Day 2: much to my surprise they actually showed up. They still didn't get everything in the truck that was left. My husband met them at the old house and it took 2 hours to load the truck and another hour and a half to unload. While loading the truck 2 of the movers got into an argument which lead to some pushing and a broken lamp. None of the furniture they took apart was put back together. As we have inspected our furniture we have found gouges, scratches, dents, and dings on far more of it then should have happened. Matt (the owner) showed up at our new house (smelling like a bag of weed) and spent time chit chatting with a couple members of the crew while my husband and 2 of the crew unloaded the truck. Upon unloading, we discovered that a oil pan from the garage was loaded sideways spilling out on boxes and ruining some of our fabric items. read more

We have moved countless times Over the last 27 years and have always just done it ourselves, hesitant to hire someone who wouldn't be as careful as are with our stuff. We were overwhelmed this our current move that we conceded and went out on a limb and from a friend's recommendation, hired PakPros Professional Movers. Matt and his guys were AWESOME!!! Matt takes pride in his work and he convinced me from our first phone call that I wanted him to get my business. It was amazing to see him guide his crew. They were extremely careful and thoughtful while moving our household and highly efficient. He charges by the hour and they bust their butts the entire time, knowing that time is money and they don't want to waste yours. Thank you, Matt, for a great first time experience in hiring movers. Matt completely saved the day with a shipping crisis the day of a huge event. He drove an hour out of his way to pick up a truck and an hour back to pick up a 12 piece order for a client that urgently needed this order the same day. Absolutely the worst movers you will ever see. Damaged multiple items. The owner made a 'fake' call to his insurance agent and said they would be out in three days. Called the agent, he is not insured. Owner had been drinking and begged me to pay him because he didn't have enough to pay his workers. STAY AWAY!!! read more

They had 3 people to pack up my 983 sq ft house without appliances & took over two hours then had to get fuel in the u-haul they rented & drop off one of the employees in order to get to my move destination. Once there the "owner" kept on chatting about the vibe of my new place which added a considerable amount of time to the unloading of my items. Once I started looking through my items (after Christmas) I found some were missing. I contacted the "owner " about this & he contacted his employee & he admitted to leaving them there (over 2 hours away) the "owner" refused to reimburse & complained because he was an hour longer getting home. He admitted to not checking over the work his employee had done & is mad I "threatened" a bad review instead of taking ownership of his employees mistakes. read more

I rate these guys No Stars!!! I hired these guys to move me. It was a joke.They came to my house with a small U-Haul truck. They kept asking me what all goes. I said everything goes. I am moving. After they left I had to get a 26 foot U-Haul truck and move the rest of my stuff. I only let them do one trip since they said it would be $800.00 if they did 2 trips.. So Why did you not bring a bigger truck. This is their scam.. Bring a little truck so it has to take more then 1 trip. They dropped 3 boxes and they delivered a A/C window unit to the wrong neighbor. I sent Matt a text message to let him know I was not happy with my experience with his company. Instead of him apologizing for his crew for dropping and breaking things and taking the A/C window unit to the wrong neighbor. I get a voice text from him telling me to stop texting him. WOW!! such a great company to hire.. NOT!!! never again would I hire or recommend this company to move me.. They deliberately brought a small truck to my house so they could charge me more money. I used these guys to move, the employees were great even though they broke my treadmill. The owner, Matt, is an entire different story. He promised to fix my treadmill but I never heard from him, so I have tried calling him several times and he keeps hanging up on me. He is dishonest and doesn't care about his customers. NOTE: This is long but informative. I hope everyone takes the time to read this because this company showed the lowest of quality and professionalism of any company I've ever dealt with. We are military and have moved countless times, so know that this comes from an experienced mover all over the country. For starters, Matt, the owner, called, got the size of my unit, told me 3 guys x 3 hours should cover it. This was consistent with my last move not 18 months earlier. Told me 10% off for military. No mention of a minimum. Scheduled me for 8am, approximately one week out. Confirmed the night before, 8am start. Next morning, 7:45, get a call. "We haven't had a truck for weeks, and got one in time, but it needs a part. Place opens at 9:00am, should only be 1/2 hour". I tell him I'm under a tight deadline as I had planned around his time table. No worries he says. 9:15 I contact him, "We are estimating 10:30am arrival" he says. 10:15am, text him and he states "Let me do my job and get this job completed for you, we'll have you moved in by 2:30pm, no worries". ( I have all text transcripts, as you'll see I needed them). Shows up slightly after NOON. Over 4 hours late, with a Uhaul. They don't own a working truck apparently. Then, shows up with 5 guys to "Help me out", states that this is bigger than he thought (even though I gave him square footage), and they'll have to take two trips. Two guys are COMPLETELY new at this, they bring 2 blankets to wrap all furniture, throw my things around like they're not glass or fragile, even though EVERY SINGLE BOX was marked with contents. Charges me his time for stopping off at two gas stations because he has "major tooth pain". To cut to the chase, tells me I owe him over $1,000 when they're loading the last load, so has my things "hostage" at this point. They'll be done by 4:30. Tells me to run to the ATM to get as much cash as my ATM limit will allow. Or I can pay Venmo, doesn't accept normal credit card payments as advertised on his site. Venmo charges me $30 to use my credit card. Offers to knock 5% off if I "don't review him", after he asks me to review him while he's standing there. Under duress, I pay him the total. When they get to my new home, one guy tells another "You know we're off the clock, right", because it's now after 4:30. They literally THROW the rest of my things in my garage and take off, never even confirming their departure. Later I text him about a missing bed piece. Denies they have it. At 10pm, I find out that medication has been STOLEN. Remaining narcotics from a recent surgery. I report to him. He goes back and forth all weekend telling me he's determined who stole them, fired him, will not under any circumstances cooperate with the police. Continues to text me, mentioning my 4 yo daughter he's never met (CREEPY!!!), telling me that this is all my fault for moving my medicines myself, by the way, and not putting them somewhere no one could find them. Monday morning I file a police report and turn over all texts to the police who are now investigating him and his employees. PLEASE PLEASE do not hire this guy. You will regret it to the highest degree. He is corrupt, unprofessional, unethical, and I believe slightly unbalanced to say the least. read more

Whatever you do please do not use these "movers". They will damage everything you have. Take apart things that do not even need taken apart, then put them back incorrectly and damage them. Then try and charge you more because it took longer-due to their complete ineptness The whole experience was just out of control and crazy, but by then you're backed into a corner and having to move so keep going with it hoping for the best. And it turns out worse than you could ever imagine. He gave us his insurance man's name, but when I called, he had no insurance and was I was one of many people who had also called. Of course by then, the had already cashed my check. I did set up an account just to try and warn others, as i'm sure if I took him to court I would get nothing. read more

The move was set up and and scheduled for 2 packers and 4 movers to move my family from a military base to a residential area. Everything went downhill from there when the owner could not come on post because of a prior felony and one of the crew members had an expired driver's license. He assured me he would find another crew. Calls and texts were intermittent throughout the day with no resolve. I have not heard from them since. I do not reccomend this company. read more

He did not finish our move and now we have to find another moving company at the last minute to move our stuff into our new house from storage 2 weeks before closing on our new house. He's a chronic liar and said he would move us like he would move his own grandmother. He's a very good salesperson to get your business but beware the move you will regret! Worst moving company I ever used and we have moved out of state 4 times! We moved from Kansas City to Colorado from a house to storage. He told us he would wrap everything in blankets and shrink wrap but showed up with hardly no blankets. He had no mattress boxes and told us he never heard of a mattress box. We had to pay upfront for his gas money of $900 because he had no money to get to Colorado and back to Kansas City. They showed up with 2 budget trucks and does not have his own trucks. He purposely did not tell us this when he came to our house for the estimate. They did not have enough space in the two trucks. We moved from a house to storage and he came to our house during the estimate and said he would provide the trucks. He made us pay for the 3rd truck of $550 because he could not fit everything in the trucks provided. We had to put the truck in our name because he could not afford it. He does not know how to stack and we had to purchase 2 very large storage units and he told us we needed a 3rd unit. When I got to Colorado and looked at the storage units things were thrown all over the place with hardly no blankets on any of the furniture. They also could not figure out how to move my hot tub and could not get the large dresser and hot tub moved till the next day. They had no dollies. The movers at PakPros started off decently enough, but things quickly went downhill. The day they showed up to move, they sent two movers for a 3 bedroom home. The first issue was they dropped my mattress into a window in my garage. Not only did they do nothing to clean up the glass (leaving me to do it), but I also had to beg them repeatedly (I have text proof proof of this) to repair the window. When they finally got around to it, the window was installed so incorrectly that I had to pay to have another company repair the window (also text proof). Move forward to the rest of the move. The movers were kind enough to store some of my items in their storage unit that would not fit in my pod while I was in between houses, but now, months later, I still can't get four of my items back and they claim not to have them. I have multiple texts requesting the items, with no communication back from them. I have informed them today that I will be filing police report against them. I absolutely do NOT recommend PakPros. I paid $900,00 for gas for him to get to Denver from Kansas city! I had to pay $550.00 to U Haul the next morning out of my own pocket since he didn't have enough room on both his trucks to move my jacuzzi! Hence all is in storage as I am writing this ad! We spoke tonight in the evening and he was cursing at me refusing to complete the move; using the F word, can you believe saying this to a customer! Do NOT use this company! We were extremely disappointed. We suffered damage to our home that was never addressed or repaired (10+ very noticeable scrapes and divots in our hallway woodwork from the movers). Despite several calls and text messages to the owner with pictures of the damage, our concerns were ignored and we did not get called back. I can't believe they are still in business given this lack of professionalism. They also did not bring any floor/shoe coverings (said they had run out) which resulted in several stains in our carpet from the movers tracking in mud that was left behind. Lastly, they showed up w a much smaller truck than initially discussed- which required several trips back and forth, taking more time- in the end, the job was done incompletely and poorly yet still requested full payment. The one star they did earn was bc they were flexible with several date changes on our end. Overall, worst service and customer service I have ever experienced. read more
