This place disappoints me. I live in the area and tonight ordered a 3 pack of Modelo Chelada via UBER. After UBER delivered there was only the one can instead of 3. I didn't notice because I ordered 2 other items. I called Palace Liquor to tell them what happened and he said "that was my error" then when I pushed for resolution he said call UBER, left me with the phone on an open line and then hung up. I tried calling back and they will not pick-up. For a community store you would think they would do better to support the community especially whe. It is their error. read more

This place has a nice selection of beer! I'm so thrilled it is across the street from one of Tucker's haunts. The furry family member rules the roost. I love popping into check out their beer selections after my walks with his royal majesty and I am never disappointed. I do look at the APV ratio though. If it's less than 7% then I don't want to bother with those gluten filled calories. It is so convenient that Palace Liquor is across the street from Glorietta Park. Multitasking at its finest. They offer a military discount. We been customers since they opened but thanks to a very rude employee and owner we will not be back. We were treated so rudely by a cashier when asking for the discount in front of the owner, who did nothing. He said that we veterans think we are so privileged. If you are a veteran know that they do not appreciate you and give you a difficult, even harassing time trying to get your whopping 10% off. read more

I love this place. I have always had great customer service, there is always a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Prices are a little more than The grocery store on some items, but I'd rather support a small, family-owned business. Also, they make great suggestions when looking for gifts or something to bring to a party. Great place run by great people. I've been stopping by here for years, usually on my bike, to purchase lotto tickets. Over the years I have gotten to know the owners, so we chitchat and I've noticed the same with their other customers. Very friendly folks. Unfortunately I'm not a huge booze consumer, so I'm not a great customer for them in that regard, although I have purchased Whiskey as gift and they were very helpful in suggesting selections. Terrible customer service. I cashed in 14 dollars of lottery tickets. He said it was 13. I thought about it for a second and said it should be 14. He rudely responded it says 13. I asked to see all the receipts. He shows me 4 of them. I told him I have 5 tickets. Where is the Other receipt? He said I don't know computer says 13. I look over the counter l, which he found offensive and said what are you doing and saw one of the receipts he scanned on the floor. He got all defensive and said I didn't see that. He is obviously lying since he already scanned it and would of came up 14 on the computer. He impolity slammed one ticket on the counter and said "I dont care, take it and go". What a scum bag. Palace liquor is a real family business. I have been shopping here for years. I have always been greeted with smiles and warmth by the owners. They give great recommendations when asked and have a tremendous selection at there store. But what is more important to me, is the respect and attention that every person gets when they are there. The owner of this business is one of the worst assholes I've ever met so is the wife but she's not that bad as the husband. I went here to grab some moscato on a Saturday afternoon. They have a good selection of white & red wines, liquor, and beer. I also like how they have snacks, juices and other items to make the perfect drink. The place is neat, clean, and the lady working there was super helpful. She even asked if I wanted my wines chilled. I live just up the street from Palace Liquor Depot. It is a really wonderful family owned business. I started going in there because I saw the owner playing his guitar in front of the store when it was slow. I liked that. Now I know the owners ( Jack and Mrs Jack) by first name. I like having a local liquor store that is run by really nice people. They have a great wine selection, and enough micro brews to keep me and the Mrs happy with new finds. They have a huge selection of alcohol, including Absinthe, which you don't find everywhere. If you live in the Glendale/Montrose/La Canada area, it is a great place to go. read more

Owners are very nice always go the extra mile for there customers. Looking for a special adult beverage they usually have or will get it for you. Always have great reasonable prices too. They could sell you a higher priced item but usually will always have special priced equal or higher quality of liquor for all his clients. Jack and his wife are the kindest people in the neighborhood and I always feel welcome. They go of their way with excellent customer service. This place sucks !!! Went here on Easter Day to and shortly after decided I'd never be back again. Me and my boyfriend decided to stop here to pick up some more beer since it's a short walk from our house. My boyfriend who has moved here from Arizona has an Arizona issued drivers license which for some odd reason expires in 2058. This liquor store did not have the proper Id scanner and did not take the proper steps into verifying the id and assumed it was fake because of the expiration date. I told him to call the police to verify and still the owners acted as if we were doing something wrong and trying to buy alcohol illegally they were very unprofessional in the way the handled the situation and extremely rude and I will never support the business again! read more

This place has a decent selection of alcohol.. it is a liquor store. I would give it more stars... but they charge $8 for cigarettes.. seriously $8?? And if your order is less than $10, they charge you .50 cents to use the debit. Injury to insult. The owner said something about the price of cigarettes going up. I have paid 6.50 at a gas station less than 2 miles away. The most I have ever had to pay is $7 at any other place I literally drive the extra miles now even though this store is more convenient.. the price isn't worth it to me. read more
