I was running errands and dropped in this nail shop, and wasn't mad about it at all! I got a pedicure and a new set of nails and was very pleased with the outcome. Inside the vibe was very nice and clean, loved how modern it looked and the service was great. Alena and Lynn were super dope and made my experience great. The prices were on the "average for me" end, you get to choose your pedicure and those have different prices attached to them. With using Gel polish, getting a pedicure and getting a set of nails taken off and put back on I may have paid about $150. I'm definitely going back. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! My daughter's nails were hurting her and even started bleeding right after getting it done, two days later her skin started flaking it look horrible same nails that was bleeding. Another nail broke a WEEK after getting them done. She got acrylic nails. I called to express my concern and someone said come over I'm so sorry that should not happen we will fix them. I get there a day later and they were making it seem like she got dry skin, no she does not have dry skin at all. They did not want to fix them just the one nail that broke and even so it was so annoying for them to do so. She always get her nails done and this has never happened. Honestly never coming again here. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Not sure what products they are using or what. Palazzo is a beautifully designed nail salon in the financial center of Buford. There's a huge parking lot which is very convenient. I came for a mani/pedi but they also do eyelashes, waxing, eyebrow tinting and much, much more. They are super kid-friendly with little pedicure stations for the kiddos. It was so relaxing and their pedicure seats are super-comfortable bucket seat massage chairs. I got SNS on my nails so I hope it lasts long but I'll definitely be back for a touch up in a few weeks! read more

My guy and I decided get pampered and walked into this place, we passed several salons to get here because he remembered them serving wine ( they dont anymore due to covid). I was treated very well by the people that did my mani and pedi. Hayden was awesome, and did a very neat job. While sitting in the pedi chairs, my guy realized that no one came over to do his mani so I mention it to Hayden and he said he would send someone over, well the person that came over did not want to do the job and was very rude to him. Older women with bangs, she didnt speak and was plucking his nails so hard and fast that the nails were popping everywhere. I was surprised that he sat there through that, I hate that I didn't speak up for him. He didn't want to make a scene and plus he had suggested the place. We spent right at $100 for rude services. I have to give this place 5 stars, but you know with any nail salon it's all about who you see. Lu is fantastic! I used to see her on a regular basis when she was at a different salon and I worked close by. Then she moved, and I quit working nearby, and I just lost touch. My friend goes to see Lu, and her nails always look amazing. I decided to do SNS, and just make the drive down to see her. She is so sweet and absolutely meticulous about her work. I love that she really works to make sure your nails don't have that big hump with doing the SNS, and they looked perfect when I left. I'm over 2 weeks on them so far, and not a single chip. They look pristine. I can tell you that over the years I have seen so many different people in the nail business, but I have never forgotten Lu, or how good she was. I had an amazing first experience. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. I've never had my nails and toes worked on at the same time so that was a plus. I was in and out! But while I was in Linda and BMW took incredible care of me. The massages were amazing. It took everything in me to not fall asleep. The service is exceptional. The salon is BEAUTIFUL!! They have a area for little one to get their nails done. I know my daughter is going to live that! I'll be back to see them both again very soon. I got a gel mani and a honey pedi. I wasn't disappointed with either in any way and the work came out just as I wished. Both came up to almost $80 and it was worth every dollar. I can't wait to return! read more

Went here with a friend for pedicures. I'm really skeptical to go out and get my toes done because I'm a nail tech myself. I'm too busy to do my toes at work and too lazy to work on them at home, so I decided to go here. They are genuinely good. The people are nice and they are super and when I a super I mean it.. super clean. It's rare I would say that about any salon. My toes came out better than I expected. I'm very, very picky. And overall, I was 90% satisfied with my service. 90% only bc again, I'm extremely picky and I had to "tweak" them a little when I got Home, but to another person, it would of been perfect I'm sure. With all this CovID-19 going on, the management team has literally taken Every. Single. Precaution...Mandated by the CDC, which is almost unheard of for a nail salon. It's pretty difficult to follow all the precautions and they are exceeding them! I got a deluxe pedicure, can't remember which one but it was $40 plus gel, my total was $55. I did not regret spending a single penny on this place, and again, I never can say that about any salon. The customer service is on point and they are also very respectful of everyone.. even when they didn't know I was Vietnamese.. they didn't say a single thing bad about me and me being difficult. And during my entire duration, I didn't hear them speak bad about any other clients. Will be a returning customer for sure! read more

They can't do a simple gel set. Polish is bulky and I have bubbles in my nails. When I left the salon my nails where perfect. The quality here is poor there are better nail salons in the area. I really don't like going to nail salons because I have always been treated less than when I go. At first I thought it was just me but I've received the same treatment from various locations and states. The only reason I go now is to spend time with my wife. This place has sealed the deal for me and I'm never setting foot in a nail salon again. When my pregnant wife and I got there they told us it was a 30 min wait. Ok. No problem. We wait the 30+ mins then we get sat in our chairs. We take our shoes off and wait to be serviced. We sat in those chairs for an additional 45 MINUTES! No one came to see us, no one came to run our water, no one ask what product and services we came for, NOTHING. Then we were trying to ask when will we be seen they LITERALLY ignored us. Walked right passed us. But what made us walk out was when watching them bring people that came AFTER US be seated and service being provided almost immediately. I want to thank PALAZZO NAILS for completely turning me off to nail salons. This was by far the worst experience ever. Never Again! read more

So I had to find another nail salon. I went to Polish Nail Bar and had a quarrel with the nail tech. I literally did not get my nails done for a month because I was so done with that place! I came to Palazzo and Miss Mary (the owner) greeted me so lovely! She sent me to the perfect nail tech. All I asked of her was a thin overlay and a change in my nail shape. She perfected both! Update 1/2018 - no longer a fan. I may still visit occasionally but the turnover is too high. Every time I find someone good to do my SNS they leave. There is only one person that does SNS well (Mary) and she only works on Saturdays. If you can't get her, proceed with caution. Also they are not transparent about prices. They don't tell you up front - oh I'm charging you more for almond shape, or oh you're switching from SNS to gel so I will charge you to remove SNS. Huh? What kind of sense does that make? Unfortunately I'm going to have to search for another spot. I may still visit for pedicures and bring my family but I have to ask a lot more questions and find a backup for SNS. I was really pleased with my experience at this nail bar. I was in another store and asked a sales person which nail salon should I attend. She suggested Palazzo. I was skeptical because there are so many of nail spots here in the Buford area. I was greeted very warmly. And services were performed simultaneously for spa manicure and pedicure. The environment was very relaxing. I will say that I came on a Tuesday afternoon. So maybe it wasn't as busy as it usually is but I still get the impression that they aim to please. The place is very nice. The staff is really nice. My nails and pedi came out decent. Only thing is I had gel nails and she didn't put the gel top coat with the uv light after she did the fill-in. They are training a new girl " Na" and from what the nails looked like that my mom got from her i would say they need to keep the trainees in training until actually ready to work on people. Also my mom asked for a fill in and they ended up doing a full set on her without explaining what/why they did a full set instead of a fill in and charged her full price for it. My technician was AMAZING but I chose the chrome SNS and was told AFTER the fact that it was an additional $15.00 when I told them that had I known it was an additional fee I would've picked a different color the older man argued with me and said I was told it was an additional fee... I again told him that I wasn't so he got another person over to tell me that I was in fact told it was an additional fee... which I was... after one hand was already completely started and it was too late to go back... "customers always right" my behind with this place! I feel bad for the technician because he was excellent but the man and woman I had to deal with were deplorable! This is my second visit here, and I can't say I'm overly impressed. On my first visit, I came with a friend. We were seated in pedicure chairs immediately & initially I was pleased that it appeared that, rather than doing our manicures during our pedicures (I don't find it very relaxing) they completed our pedicures first. However, while I was moved to the separate room to complete my manicure, my friend was made to stay in the pedicure chair during hers, oddly enough. We came together, should have been able to sit together. Our services were okay, manicures better than pedicures. I will say that Benny, the owner, gifted us both a hand lotion and gave me 2 $5 gift cards to give to my neighbors (very smart). I came back today because of his hospitality and professionalism only. Today, I came by myself, and explained that I was in a little bit of a hurry, and would go ahead and have both services at once. The girls at the front discussed at length who would be completing my services (I got the feeling they were short staffed and were a bit uncomfortable with my simple pedicure and gel manicure). After they began, I understood why. My pedicure was pretty much the worst. And I've had a lot of pedicures. I could barely feel anything as she was working, and sure enough, she did not clean my nail beds well at all (upon checking afterward). She applied a liquid callous remover to my feet, and possibly left it on too long? I let her know it was burning a bit, but when she removed it and started scrubbing, I began to bleed immediately. I was told it was because I had a scrape on my foot. I certainly didn't when I arrived. No apology. Then there's the manicure. This young lady began to try to remove my gel polish with a dremel tool, a bit aggressively and clumsily. Dug into my already thin nails a few times. I was already getting the feeling she was inexperienced by this time, and then the polish came out. My nails beds are FULL of polish. Every single one. She tried to correct this with a brush dipped in remover in between coats, but it happened with every single coat. Then she tried to file some of the excess away, and trapped the dust under the top coat, even after I mentioned this may happen and the nails needed to be cleaned first. Please know, I am a cosmetologist and have done nails before. If gel polish touches the edge of the skin or the cuticle, it will almost certainly lift within a few days. I have a feeling I will be having to remove these within a few days unfortunately. When I politely asked how long she had been doing nails, I got a very long pause and then "2 year." I have a feeling that was a pretty big fib. This took almost 2 hours, even though I mentioned that I was in a hurry. I have a feeling that all these nail techs are BRAND NEW or even still in training, and they barely speak English. I have no problem with them speaking the language they are most comfortable in with each other, but if you are going to service American men and women, you should be able to communicate the basics ("short or long, does that hurt, I'm sorry, etc). I didn't have time to mention any of this to the owner, I had to leave to catch a plane, but I most certainly will. Being in the industry, I know there's nothing worse than someone having a bad experience, not letting you know, and just never coming back. You can't fix anything if you aren't aware of what's going on! Moral of the very long story- I want to love this place. They are close to my house and have a beautiful, clean facility. I want them to be successful. However, I will be waiting quite some time before I revisit. Maybe their staff will have a bit more experience. Hopefully they will still be in business by then! read more

So first look, the place looks fancy and great! But don't judge this place by its cover cause the employees talk crap about their clients while they do their nails. Me and wife visit different nail shops and review for service and it helps that my wife speaks Vietnamese because we know when they are being rude since most nail shops are owned by Vietnamese people. After my wife staying quiet pretending she didn't understand anything they were saying we go and pay and tell the manager of what happened and the manager accuses my wife of not understanding Vietnamese and proceeds to test her Vietnamese to make sure she wasn't lying. The whole situation proves that their business is bad from the core of Management and need improvements before they spend all that money on the presentation of the place. read more

He was saying in Vietnamese about how bad my nails looked and if he couldn't fix them that he'd quit doing nails forever also made me bleed and had the audacity to say "you're hurt?" with an attitude. I've also noticed that their basic pedicure prices were higher than the last time I came there. I can go somewhere else that'll do as good of a job for cheaper than $38. When I come here I always get a pedicure with regular nail polish and acrylic nail fill with gel polish. Both are always clean, crisp and look professional, in my opinion. The environment is always relaxing and drama free, unlike some other salons I've been to over the years. I'm a stickler for the details, since I've done my own acrylic nails off and on for over 15 years. I've been coming here now for over 9 months. I followed Tiffany from another nail salon because she knows her products and knows nails. She is the BEST! Tiffany is good about learning her customers and their preferences. She is also great about putting up with my attention to the small details and pickyness. I will say they are a bit pricey compared to some other places I have been to. But for the quality of work and the time I spend in here, the price is acceptable. The salon has an upscale feeling and vibe to it, but not to the point it makes anyone feel uncomfortable. The other nail techs and employees are always friendly. Grandpa, may seem a bit grumpy at first but he really is very sweet and friendly once he knows the whole salon is running smoothly. Mary, always has a smile and a positive attitude, she is the best tech for nail designs. There have been a few times I've had to wait in a pedicure chair for service, but only when they have been extremely busy... I will admit I usually show up with out an appointment...but I have always been checked on, offered something to drink and never felt like an inconvenience and have not waited longer than 10-15 minutes. Hey, as long as the water is warm, the massage chairs work and I get a wonderful pedi...I'm a happy camper! Besides it gives me more time to pick my colors. I see there are some not so favorable reviews on here, I've not experienced the negative things people have said. Only time I ever has nail polish mess up was near the end of the 2 week time and it was not a name brand polish. I stick with reputable name brands now. The number of gel polish color options is fabulous. Many other salons still don't offer that many options an I get bored with the colors at other places quickly. My nails always look clean/polished. I like the fact that they dont have on drama overloaded TV programs or the depressing news all the time. They usually have the TVs on a very neutral cable channel and it keeps everyone happy. Sometimes they will speak to each other in their language, but I have also seen than many times this is to explain/translate to each other what the customers are requesting. This isn't an issue for me. Personally I would rather it be clear what a customer wants than for there to be questions or an issue come up. I like the fact that all the equipment is maintained, clean and all the sanitation protocols they have in place. I feel clean and safe coming here. One suggestion I have for the salon is to put some type of hook or stand in the bathrooms for ladies purses, verses them being having to be places on the ground.
