So first look, the place looks fancy and great! But don't judge this place by its cover cause the employees talk crap about their clients while they do their nails. Me and wife visit different nail shops and review for service and it helps that my wife speaks Vietnamese because we know when they are being rude since most nail shops are owned by Vietnamese people. After my wife staying quiet pretending she didn't understand anything they were saying we go and pay and tell the manager of what happened and the manager accuses my wife of not understanding Vietnamese and proceeds to test her Vietnamese to make sure she wasn't lying. The whole situation proves that their business is bad from the core of Management and need improvements before they spend all that money on the presentation of the place. read more

Very nice looking nail salon but never going here again. Had the rudest person to do my nails. He was saying in Vietnamese about how bad my nails looked and if he couldn't fix them that he'd quit doing nails forever also made me bleed and had the audacity to say "you're hurt?" with an attitude. I've also noticed that their basic pedicure prices were higher than the last time I came there. I can go somewhere else that'll do as good of a job for cheaper than $38. Much fancier than your average nail salon on the outside but really just your average nail salon. And the prices are a good bit higher than the average nail salon to compensate for the fancy setup. I did get a tiny cup of wine which was cool but not worth paying an extra $15 for a gel mani/reg pedi. They have tons of gel colors which is nice. All the chairs are new and in good condition. I didn't want to wait so I called ahead and they told me no waiting but when I got there they put me in the chair and I waited 15 minutes for one of the techs to come over. I don't mind vegging in the massage chair and soaking my feet five minutes but anything beyond that isn't vegging it's waiting. Oh and they had basketball on the tv. Maybe someone asked for it but it struck me as a funny choice for a nail salon. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but considering the prices I'll stick to my regular place. Update: had my nails done Saturday, Sunday two were chipped and Monday one snagged and split right down the middle. This is gel not regular polish. This is unacceptable. Really hate to do this because of who I am, but this place is trash. I walked in with my best friend to get our nails done and asked the worker, Mary, if a girl had still worked there and she told me no and explained why. I said "oh okay!" And that was that. However, what Mary didn't know was that I spoke Vietnamese. She called me a b**** to her coworker because I had asked about the coworker that quit! I confronted Mary in Vietnamese and stormed out of there. She did apologize, of course, but this type of behavior is unacceptable. I did nothing wrong! I've gotten acrylic nails here twice (well, technically three times), I had a girl who did an absolutely terrible job and the manager had to fix them. I decided to give the manager's nail tech recommendation a try the next time, terrible again. BUT there is a silver lining....I LOVE the pedicures here. Salon was decent inside. Came with a group as a bride and bridesmaids appointment. Bathroom was out of paper towels AND toilet paper and I had to find it myself in the hall supply closet. The girl I had was extremely rude and communicated not by talking but firmly nudging my foot back in the water to let me know it was time to switch. She also kept sighing loudly and was visibly frustrated about something. Paid for the upgraded honey pedicure and it was no different if not less than any other salon's basic one. i came in for an acrylic take off to get a pink and white with tip set put on & a regular pedicure. i was a little overwhelmed at first because it seemed like they were trying to get everything done on me quick. as soon as i was seated. a lady came to start on my pedicure and a man AND woman came to work on taking off my acrylics. thats three people! the man was drilling off the gel polish while the lady was clipping away horrifically at my acrylics AND ALSO REAL NAIL. it hurt a lot. to make matters worse she wedged a tip in between my real nail and fake nail to speed up the process. UM OW. i pulled away and she said (in vietnamese) "this girl isnt brave, using tips to remove the acrylic would be faster but she doesnt like it she keeps pulling away" (im viet so i understood her loud and clear). so keep in mind one of my nails is clipped pretty close to my skin, and now i had to soak them in pure acetone. horrific i know. no pain no gain though am i right ladies? she eventually stopped and walked away to let the guy do his work. now im not a nail professional or anything but the dude was literally drilling away at what felt like my entire nail bed off. yes i understand the gel polish on top of the acrylic was thick but i think it was all gone already. my nails started to hurt and i felt it. he did tell me to let him know when my nails were hurting though, and i did. anywaysssss i just kept telling myself that things would get better. and it did. i changed my mind from getting an acrylic full set to a pink and white with tip. so they switched the guy out with another technician. the technician was really precise and took her time with her work. (given she had an appt coming up and they squeezed me at the last minute in with her). i didnt get any cuts around my cuticles (which im deathly afraid of). however my nails were really sensitive when it came time to file them. it wasnt the best feeling in the world. nevertheless, mary did my pink and white nails and i love them!! lily did a really good job on the pedicure too. i was hoping someone would ask if i wanted something to drink but no one did. i did see them ask other customers if they wanted something to drink. but other than the minute bad first impression, everything exceeds expectations here. maybe the salon will grow on me and ill come here whenever im back in town. bottom line: impressed with the cleanliness of the salon, the nail tech that did my nails, and the nail tech that did my pedi. read more

I got a pedicure and most times at most places I feel like I left and something was missing, like I always wanted a little something more. Here it is hours later and I am still pleased! My tech was very thorough and gentle. I got the lavender package and yes it was $40, I felt like I did get what I paid for and that is all I ever want. If you judge a salon by how it looks, then Palazzo would get an A. Very swanky...upscale. There's a baby grand piano (no kidding). BUT....if you judge a salon by the quality of their work...go somewhere else. I have visited the salon twice...once for an acrylic fill-in with gel polish, plus a pedicure. Then, two days later to have my nails fixed as they were such a MESS after the first visit. Both experiences were BAD. First...THEY DON'T DO ACRYLIC. On my first visit, I told them what I wanted...they told me to have a seat. AFTER they had already taken off my polish, etc... they informed me that they don't do acrylic because of "the fumes ." They do something called "dipping" instead. They swore it would look better than acrylic, blah blah. Basically, they paint your nails with a sticky substance, then dip your fingers in powder to form the nail. This does not look better than acrylic. Trust me. It also took a lot longer. 1.5 hours into it, the tech is still working on my nails! By the time she was done, I was so annoyed I just left. When I got home and started to look at my nails I became more upset. Messy job with the gel polish. Nails weren't even. By the am, polish was peeling off. Awful. When I went back to complain, I was given to the "manager"...who was the person who had done such a terrible job on my nails. When I asked for someone else, I was told this wasn't possible...the person who messed up my nails had to fix them. Good grief. Sooooo....45 min later I left. Sure, they looked better the second time. My question...why did it take me two trips and a complaint to get my nails fixed? Very dissatisfied. Never going back. read more

(Disclaimer: I might have hyped this place after reading the positive reviews here and on google) I came in for a regular manicure and was very disappointed. First they kept trying to upsell me the SNS manicure despite the fact I kept saying I just wanted the regular manicure. After finally agreeing to just the regular manicure, my nail technician probably said a word or two to me. Now I totally understand the language barrier but she made me feel unwelcome by ignoring me totally and continuously talking to her coworkers. This is all slightly irritating but not completely awful. I was most disappointed by my manicure. My nails were cut WAY too short (I'm talking almost at my nail bed) and shaped in a way I didn't want. From my picture you can also see she painted my cuticles and the nail paint was not uniformly distributed. I was then rushed to leave before my nails were dry. Why? First time going to this salon with my sister. I currently reside in NY and down for a visit. The salon is beautiful, modern (they serve wine heyyy) and super clean. Just got a full set and my sister and pedi and full set. This staff was so pleasant and patient with us. My 2 yr old nephew wanted to be eeeevvvveeeryyyyyywhere and I was trying to keep him entertained. My nail tech Tina had the patience of a saint. I've visited this nail salon twice now. The first experience was decent, the second makes me never want to return. Everything appears nice and clean and the manicurist were very professional and gentle (the 1st time!). On my first experience, they gave me my pedicure tools in a bag to take home, not a fan of that - gross! I went back this past weekend hoping to get in a quick Mani with Gel & Pedicure. I called ahead to make sure they had availability, and I was told there was "plenty of room", even gave them my name. When I arrived, everything went smoothly. The Lady began my pedicure after soaking my gel polish to remove. About 10 min later, I asked the Lady to remove the acetone enclosed wraps off my fingers as they were starting to hurt/burn. She hastily removed them and began scraping off the old gel as she "argued" at another tech (the manicurist) who was working on another client. After she finished this, she rushed off to help another client, who had just walked in, and passed me onto another tech would be finishing my pedicure. (Rude!) I sat there for about 5 minutes before the new tech began my other foot. The 2nd tech was much more harsh and my 2nd foot pedi was much rougher than the 1st foot. :/ Eventually, the manicure tech came over, and had to re-do the acetone removal again on the poorly stripped gel from the 1st Lady, and scrapped at them again. :( After about 45 minutes, my pedicure was finished, but my manicure was just starting. I asked the tech why it was taking so long, as I was told it was not busy - she told me they had 2 techs not show up that day. Needless to say, I did not have another hour to wait for gel polish, so I decided to leave. When they checked me out, I was charged for the gel removal (even though it was hastily done and had to be done 2x), plus the pedi & mani with no polish. I ask why I was being charged for the gel polish removal when it was done so poorly, and was told it was being charged for service rendered. It cost me $52 for all this hassle. No personal attention to customers and very small 'aim to please' or 'make things right' attitude. And after all that, I'm surprised my cuticles are not bleeding more. This is the worst pedicure I ever received. It was painful, the nail tech could not shape my toe nails and are crooked and I had to have them repaint my toes twice and they still look horrible. I left and went to another salon to get them to repaint them. Beware of the services. I ordered the $50 pedicure and it did not come with a mask like it said. When I asked about it they said the lotion was the mask. After spending $80 for a mani pedi and have to go get the polish changed, I definitely will not be back. My mother-in-law and I decided to try this place out because it is close my house and its new. Mind you that I do have a regular nail place that a frequent every month to get sns nails on top of my real nails with no tips. We were seated in the back with a man who seemed to know what he was doing, until I got the top coat for SNS and was told to let dry and he walked away and never returned. I noticed the top coat was peeling up!? And told the lady beside me and some woman came and redid all my nails with the SNS. And my nails then, became very thick!! Almost like (elephant toe nails). And this lady tried to make them thinner by filing them down. Wtf?!? Needless to say. That didn't help. Don't even get me started on the paint job. Paint all over my skin!?!? Then to my surprise, I find out that the dude who started my nails just started today. At this point I'm very upset and to make matters worse I start to feel nauseous and just wanted to get the hell out of there. Never had this poor of service in my life. The worst mani/pedi I've ever received. I've been getting my nails done for years and this place was dreadful. They had opened about a month earlier and sent me a mailer with specials but no expiration date. I called them and was assured the discounts would be honored for a gel mani/pedi combo which included a free brow wax. The salon is beautiful and the location close to my home so I was hoping to have a good experience. I was greeted pleasantly, given a massage chair and offered a beverage immediately. Although not the whole 12oz can of soda just a small cup filled with ice and wasn't allowed more. The person who greeted me spoke perfect English, however she apparently left for the day shortly after my arrival. My tech did not speak English and communication was difficult. The pedicure was sloppy. The cuticle trimming painful and the shape was odd. I chose a dark color as I was flying to a funeral the next morning so mistakes were very noticeable. After the pedicure, the tech walked me to another room in the back for the gel manicure. That seemed silly since others were not busy and both could have been done simultaneously, especially if there were time constraints since everything seemed rushed. The tech used a Dremel tool to remove my existing gel polish. My nails are natural and I asked her to put the tool away and wrap them in cotton soaked acetone instead. She put my whole hand in a huge bowl of acetone. No and no one should have to be knocked out by toxic fumes either. Yet another communication breakdown so I showed her myself. After 2 minutes she began scraping, getting progressively harder til I pulled away. Natural nails are more delicate than that. Then she took out the Dremel tool again. That's when I almost walked out. A male employee walked by and I told him the situation. He explained it to her, walked away and then she started scraping again. No more acetone. The previous color was left on some nails. Her cell phone rang incessantly, with ringer on full volume not vibrate. Apparently friends calling to make plans after work, and she answered every call, speaking at length. It's loud enough I can hear the other parties who spoke English by the way. Hmm. She's now rushing even more to finish. Closing time was an hour away per the hours posted. She did not shape them properly or even file all of them. The phone calls made her lose track I guess. One hand was given more attention than the other. The residue from the filing was never wiped off. And the previous gel was still visible. Not a clean canvas to paint on expecially gel based polish. I complained but she didnt understand. I would have left but had a plane to catch before sunrise and a wake that afternoon. She applied no base or top coats just two coats of gel polish allowing only one curing session under the lamp per hand. Air bubbles and streaks were visible before even leaving the table. The improper filing caused sharp and jagged edges with gel hanging over the sides. I practically ran out of there screaming. They could keep their free brow wax. Someone I hadn't seen earlier was at checkout . When she gave me the total I was not pleased. It was $30 higher than the mailer I was told would be honored. She & the tech spoke in Vietnamese. She did speak English and said no discounts would be given. When I reached for my wallet the polish had smudged on several nails, the original red polish was showing through the new dark polish and was already lifting on the sides. The gel was tacky and malleable to the touch, not set like gel should be once cured. When I showed this to the woman she just shrugged. Seriously? Who does that in a professional capacity to a client? I hadn't even left her salon yet! Just a sloppy and unprofessional job in every aspect. For a new business, they had no concern over quality of service or the satisfaction of their clients. I will never go back. I have gone here from the time they opened and it was a great start but way downhill since then. They are not attentive, say they can take you but I had to sit in chair soaking so long I had to finally remove my feet from the water. Nail tech was terrible. Didn't know what she was doing and when you tried to explain she would just giggle like she didn't understand. And her response to making me bleed during my eyebrow wax was also giggle and tell me she has not done in a long time. This salon is clean, clean, clean! I get my eyebrows, lashes and nails done here. I've never had a problem. I regularly go in the early mornings for my appointment and many times they are rigorously cleaning the chair bowls and wiping down the chairs. The staff is pleasant, helpful, and professional .
