I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Palazzo Post Acute Facility. My father, battling severe COPD, overwhelming anxiety and panic attacks during his first stay 3 month's ago has experienced a remarkable positive shift since staying here! The dedicated staff's emotional support and expertise have not only improved his physical well being but his mental health. Without the help of this amazing staff & nurses, my father wouldn't be at the stable state he is currently in right now. My father was treated like family from the moment he was admitted! The staff also took proactive measures to alleviate shortness of breath & minimize his COPD exacerbations! Truly greatly for that ! Thank you to all the caregivers, nurses & doctors during this crucial time. Their understanding and patience have also played a crucial role in his recovery, which he is very thankful for. I'm also very grateful for the open communication & effort that kept our family well informed about his progress through the months! Palazzo Post Acute Facility has become more than a temporary residence for my father, it's been a wonderful place of healing and support. I extend my deepest appreciation to the entire team for their professionalism, empathy, and the positive impact they've had on my father's journey towards better health! A big thank you to Stephanie from Administration for facilitating a smooth transition for my father which has alleviated stress during an already challenging time! Her great energy & compassionate demeanor towards the residents is greatly appreciated & is felt throughout the facility! Thanks to Shawn, in activities. I appreciate you for organizing great events for the residents! Making my father feel appreciated & loved through the Holidays! Also a thank you to the social workers have gone above & beyond! This facility has been a true blessing, lovely experience and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking compassionate and comprehensive care for their loved one!

A friend of mine had a good experience there with her mother, though, so we decided to give it a chance. I'm glad we did. My dad stayed at Alcott for about 4 months, and overall we had a very positive experience. The nurses, caregivers, PT, and OT staff were wonderful with him. They were patient, attentive, and genuinely caring toward my 90-year-old dad. Most importantly, he left much stronger and in much better physical condition than when he arrived. One thing that really stood out to me was how clean the facility was. There always seemed to be someone cleaning, and the staff truly tried their best to care for the residents. I know people complain about the food, but realistically it's hospital-style food, and they have to prepare meals that work for elderly residents with different health needs. We ended up bringing some of my dad's favorite foods whenever we visited, which helped. I also want to give a special thank you to Ms. Fern from Social Services. She was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the process of finding an assisted living facility for my dad, and she even followed up after his discharge to check on how he was doing. That meant a lot to our family. My dad was lucky and ended up having great roommates who looked out for each other, which was really sweet to see. Thank you to the entire Alcott team for taking care of my dad and helping our family through a difficult time.

On multiple occasions, I've asked simple questions regarding my family members well-being or care…read moreroutine and have been met with rudeness, dismissiveness, or even raised voices. Most recently, I was spoken to in a tone that felt condescending and unprofessional, which was upsetting and completely uncalled for. I fully understand that this is a high-stress environment, and I always try to be respectful in my interactions. However, I believe every family deserves to be treated with courtesy and dignity--especially when advocating for a loved one's care.

The staff is wonderful and can be considered a friend. Considering the stress and depressing nature of convalescence, they are always cheerful and encouraging towards the residents. The facility lacks modern amenities but makes it up with staff personalities. Quite frankly, I was turned off, when I first entered the establishment. After I saw how they managed daily care, I understood the difficulties of covalent care and give them applause for doing the thankless work that nobody else will do. Bravo!!!

When your loved one is in a facility, you place your trust in the care of others and pray they'll be in the best hands possible. My mother wasn't the easiest person to care for, but this staff showed so much patience and care throughout her time here. They are very responsive and consistently nurtured the seniors here like it was their own relative. The dining caters to individual needs and is quite delicious. The team does a wonderful job on day time activities, walks them in the beautifully remodeled courtyard, showers them in a timely manner, and clothes them with fresh smelling laundry. The PT staff are just so wonderful - the entire team with their smiling faces are so welcoming. I need to recognize the heart and soul of the OCH, the head nurse - Grace. I've actually known Grace prior to my mom arriving at the OCH and her professionalism, honesty, unbelievable responsiveness (she actually called me from Asia on vacation) and warmth are beyond words. My heart can't thank her enough for everything she's done. The OCH is so blessed to have her. The energy and strength behind OCH comes from Esther Kwun. She will ALWAYS pick up her phone and go out of her way to help. Her humor, smile, and lovable personality are indispensable qualities that represent the OCH with such professionalism. I will miss her so much. A big thanks to Noel, who handles the finances. He is just a joy to talk to and I'm thrilled he's physically recovered so well. Claire and her partner, who does a marvelous job with social services never make mistakes. Their attention to detail in taking care of all the patients there keep things so organized. My mother, who was blind, just adored hearing Claire's lovely voice. Dalila, who my mom said was the best CNA there deserves a shout out. Thank you, Anna and others who gave her the best showers. Thank you Ernesto for the pleasantries every time we see each other. To the new guy, Joseph, who seems to be another wonderful addition there. And of course, Station 1, with Deborah, Marissa, Victoria - you all are just FABULOUS! .... and to my ever reliable, Hailu, who I will dearly miss. There are so many folks that I know I'm missing, but my heart is overjoyed and eyes filled with tears, that my mom was so well taken care of at the Olympia Convalescent Hospital. The Lord blessed us. THANK YOU and my family wishes the entire staff the very best!
