    Bread & butter, meatball sliders
    Nayoun K.

One of my favorite happy hours not for wine but for their bites - the bread board and sliders are so good. The bread slices are generous and come with different interesting flavors, and whipped butter + honey. The sliders lean almost Mediterranean with a nice cooling labneh and cucumbers, the meat is seasoned well. The wines are honestly pretty non remarkable, their current Tuscan on tap is my favorite of their HH wines. Lots of wild and organic wines. The space is adorable and comfortable, and dog friendly so we end up stopping by during our walks.

I have walked past Pali Wine Co a million times and never took the chance to go inside until one night we were looking for a place to grab one last drink at before calling it a night and we easily were able to grab a seat here so we decided to go for it. I definitely underestimated how much I would enjoy the wines here. The staff are super personable and knowledgeable on the wines. I really enjoy their chardonnay that is more buttery and I love the all of the events they have their especially trivia.

In my humble opinion, the price point for an individual glass is a touch high, but I suppose that's all the more incentive to join the Wine Club! The front space is small but there's plenty more room in the back--did someone say trivia night?? Service was excellent, with staff offering a few "Costco-size" samples as our party of 6 waffled over the menu. While the popular 2024 Dawn Orange Wine (Peach, raw honey, meyer lemon - Central Coast * Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc; partially carbonic, 3 weeks skin contact) wasn't to my personal taste, I did enjoy the 2023 PCH Rosé of Pinot Noir (Bright, floral, delicate fruit flavors - Santa Barbara County * Whole-cluster pressed, aged in neutral vessels for 2 months).

    Second wine of the flight

We were staying three doors down from this wine place and I enjoy wine so I knew I needed to stop in. I sat at the bar since it was just me. I ordered a wine flight, I think it was called the Neighborhood Flight of wine. All the wines were really good! The bartender, I think his name was Luca or Lucas, was very hospitable and he was great at explaining each wine. Great wine!!

made a last minute decision to stop by here for a glass of wine on my birthday. such a cute small wine shop, we were only there for maybe half an hour since they were closing. I'm not the best at describing wine, but the glasses we did get were good tasting, lol. I do want to check out the second floor and get a flight next time!

Stopped in with a few friends on a weekday night, didn't get to check the entire place out just the front bar, it is a really nice setup. The owner was there telling us all about the wine choices. They have an orange rosé that was unique and tasted pretty good. Although I decided to stick with the regular rosé. They have trivia nights on Thursdays and comedy nights on Wednesdays. I for sure want to come back and do a trivia night!

Chef's charcuterie board is the worst

The bar service and atmosphere was gr8!!! This review is for the lamest chef's charcuterie board I have eva seen and had. Especially when it has the word 'chef' in it. The menu states that it came with "cheeses" and some whipped cheese thing that was lameO. It only came with 1 other small piece of cheese, so ya already starting off lying to the consumer. The "bread" they gave was of the ends of your loaf try to find something to dd with it variety, more lameness. The cracker was tasteless cardboard. Whatever that hummus looking stuff is, also did not go well. Where's the honey? Where's the spicy mustard? Why only 1 small piece of cheese? This board is a travesty and makes Pali Wine look cheap, careless and unprofessional.

Great for a casual wine tasting! I enjoyed the Pali flight. The Sauvignon Blanc is super smooth and light. You'll probably want to take home a bottle. The pinot noirs are decent. Surprisingly, the bread and butter platter slaps. The herby butter, thick and fluffy olive bread...mmmmmm. Only potential downside is the occasional airport noise, but it wasn't too bothersome.

Such a fun experience overall. The day I went there was a pizza pop-up, which was great because the pizza was really delicious and a solid portion for the price. I originally came for their frozen rosé, but they were out, which was a bit of a bummer. I ended up getting the orange wine instead and it was still really good. The live music made the whole vibe even better and added a lot to the ambiance. It's a really chill spot to hang out with friends, and I even saw a dog there, which made it feel extra relaxed and casual. Would definitely come back.

The wine that got me into wine. I know it sounds strange, but I never liked wine -- it always tasted like church to me, and the hangovers were even worse. Then I came here and tried their natural wine selection. The flight description said "light, refreshing, fresh," which is exactly my type of drink, so I gave it a chance... and loved it. Now I'm officially a light‑chilled‑wine person. I always feel totally fine the next day after a glass or two, and even though I'm no wine connoisseur, I can genuinely taste the difference in quality here. We loved it so much we joined their wine club -- and after comparing other clubs, this one really does give you the most value and the best perks. So thank you, Pali Wine, for the new vice. I'm obsessed. They truly have something for everyone: natural wines, classic whites and reds, plus a great location that's dog‑friendly. They host fun events like comedy night and trivia, and there's a cute little rooftop where you can watch the planes come in. The wine club benefits are amazing, and now I can't wait to visit their outposts in Santa Barbara and Anaheim, and their actual winery in Lompoc.

Wonderfully welcoming, friendly wine bar that offers a lot! The small, open storefront bar hides much bigger spaces behind it including a back room and a huge back patio. There's even a small roof area. Wednesday through Sunday nights there is free live entertainment: comedy, trivia, and music! But the staff here make all the difference: they are friendly, knowledgeable, and offer free samples of the wine to help you decide what to order. A great venue with great staff! Great for both date nights or large groups.

My first time in San Diego checking little Italy, one of the reason i stop in was because I heard a beautiful singer playing. I ordered the Pelly flat bread that was delicious with a glass of wine . Julianne was amazing , patient and helpful with the menu!

    Cassidy H.

Went here last night to try some wine flights, and had the best time! the flights were so cute and came with a tasting menu, which was so fun and such a cute touch. our server Sylise was so sweet, helpful, and kind. she answered all the questions we had about the wine club, similar bottles of wine to try, and explained all the wines that we were given to try in the flight. the cheese board was delicious and incredibly large- definitely could be shared between 4 people (although we loved it for the two of us as well!). definitely recommend trying out this place -- we will be back soon!

I'm glad this place gives me the space to do that. I want to go back to try different dishes and wines, browse the shops, and save room for dessert! Perhaps I will come on a Friday since they have a farmer's market that day from 9am-1 pm! I had a date night and went on a Saturday, 2 hours before closing. We ordered Calabrese Pizza, Apple & Gorgonzola Pizza, Parmesan Fries, and Rigatoni & Vodka Sauce Pasta. My goodness, everything was GOOD! The Apple & Gorgonzola Pizza was my favorite, pure perfection of flavors. I know there's always a debate with pineapple on pizza but this apple and gorgonzola makes sense, I don't think anyone would ever question it. The parmesan fries was so yummy as well, you get a HEFTY amount. We actually didn't finish a good amount and took this home along with a few slices of pizza. Pasta was delicious as well, there was leftover pasta sauce that we just scooped up with the crust of the pizza. The ambience - amazing and beautiful. It is pretty spread out. I've only been here a couple times but I was able to find a table both times aside from the good amount of people the times I've came. We sat inside the tasting room and the food came out promptly. I do love that on hot days they will turn their misters on, great touch Way to keep us cool! We decided to do the Traditional Wine Tasting where you get six 1.5 oz pours of your choice for $32. Also, you can get free chocolate to pair with your wine at the dessert shop. Delicious, everything I ordered was what I needed. Everyone here just seems incredibly nice. From the people who took your order at the Kitchen, food runners, pourers, even the lady at the dessert shop (even though we didn't get any dessert lol) was friendly. We wanted to get dessert, but we had 15 minutes left till closing, however she didn't rush us out the outside area. I saw that there was a sugar free pistachio gelato flavor. I love that, seems like it was a hit because it was nearly all out! Next time I do go, I definitely want to try that and their cannolis!!! I love Cannolis. Anyways, back to the wine tasting, I believe her name is Cecilia (?), She was great. Great service along with the other pourer at the counter. I did not catch her name but she has blonde short hair and was very nice and friendly as well! Overall, 10/10, & I will be back very soon.
