Wine Girl San Diego is a unique and enjoyable spot. We stopped in during Comic-Con to take a break from the crowds and ended up finding a fantastic wine bar. They have a great wine selection along with a creative variety of wine-based cocktails, including a surprisingly good wine-infused margarita. The food menu is small, but I was happy to see they offer at least one vegan option. I tried the hummus, and it was excellent. The roasted hummus had a great texture, the pita bread was perfectly prepared, and everything came together really well. The atmosphere is whimsical, refined, and relaxing, which isn't a combination you come across very often, but somehow it works. It's a great place to unwind, whether you're exploring the Gaslamp Quarter or just looking for a good glass of wine. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the Gaslamp area. One thing to keep in mind is parking. Since it's in the Gaslamp, parking can be tough during Padres games, Comic-Con, and other major downtown events. If you can, try to visit when there isn't a game or another big event going on. It'll make finding parking a whole lot easier.

Such a cute spot, we had to stop to check it out during Comic Con. It's in East Village not too far from the ballpark, so parking can be a challenge as it's street only unless you find parking garage or paid lot. It's fairly new and definitely a girls vibe inside. They have bar seating as well as a sofa area and table. There are some cute photos ops on a set of swings near the entrance. We sat at the bar and ordered the Power Punch which was like a peachy sangria and the Plot Twist which was Prosecco, club soda with mint and elderflower. Both were pretty good and not too strong which i appreciated. It was very hot out so it felt good to get into a cool place, and have something refreshing. The server was very nice and accommodating as well. They do have food, small bite mostly but they have flatbreaed pizza. We didn't try any so i can't say if it was good or not. They also sell cute merch like clothing and hats with their name on it. I noticed they have a private room in the back that looked like it could seat about 10 to 12, and might be good for a small event. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is that the music was very loud and you had to talk loud to be heard. I think it might have just been because it was in the evening during a weekend. Id like to go back and to some of the for.

We ended up stopping here to do some people watching during Comicon. It has a few outside tables and the inside is really cute. They were doing a buy one get one drink promo so the wine was a great deal. Next time I would try one of their flights or fun frozen drinks . They also have chambongs if you want to liven things up The charcuterie board was amazing. It would easily feed 3-4 as an app or 2 if it's a meal. It was nice to graze on while we drank Overall it's a cute wine bar in Gaslamp that's worth a visit

Wine Girl Bar in downtown San Diego was such an instantly inviting spot, with a fun, girly and upbeat vibe that set the tone right away. I attended a special Yelp Elite event here, and everything felt so welcoming. I started with the peach sangria, which was super refreshing, deliciously flavorful, and stronger than expected in the best possible way. The Paloma was just as lovely--bright, bold, and so easy to sip and enjoy. Both drinks were absolutely excellent. A big thank you to Hannah for being so warm and sweet. Her hospitality made the whole evening feel even more special. Thank you to Wine Girl for hosting such a fabulous event. I had the best time and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cute, fun place to unwind.

10/10 based on first impressions and vibes! This is such a cute spot downtown with friendly service. They offer 15% off merchandise during happy hour until 6:00 PM. While their happy hour menu is a bit limited with the $6 wine options, their summer menu is quite interesting. I will definitely be coming back to try the grapefruit Paloma Jell-O shots!

Wine Girl is an entire vibe. Upon entering, you are greeted with the most aesthetic, picture-perfect ambiance. There were many seat options to choose from and each area had its own unique cuteness to it. We opted for the loveseats near the front since we were only there for the happy hour. Wine Girl offers a great happy hour that is longer than most: Monday through Thursday from 12pm-6pm. There are three options of wines to choose from for the $6 generous pour. We opted for the Rose. I am not into sweet wine, and this Rose was perfectly dry. The mini charcuterie (for $7) looked delicious, but we were full from an earlier lunch. However, I can't wait to go back and try their other wines. The service was great. Our server answered all our questions with a smile on her face and immediately brought out our drinks. If you are looking for a space to hang out with your girlfriends or even by yourself, this is the place.

Visited during their soft opening on 02/11/2026, so some early-stage quirks are understandable. Quick context: my impressions are mostly about the food and overall ambience. I'm admittedly not much of a drinker and definitely not a wine girl, so I don't have strong opinions on the wine itself. Others in our group seemed happy with the selections, and the options on the menu appeared fairly extensive. Wine Girl SD is very committed to its aesthetic. The decor is polished, cohesive, and extremely photo friendly. It is clearly designed for celebrations and social gatherings, very much built for that Instagram-style experience, which is fun. One genuinely appreciated surprise was that they were able to prepare sparkling wine cocktails using non alcoholic sparkling wine. That flexibility stood out. I had two NA versions of the Cloud 9, which comes with cotton candy and small candied hearts you drop into the glass. Playful and very on theme for the space. Unexpected standout was the scent. The venue smells intentionally curated. I asked the bartender about it and she explained that it is a custom fragrance often used in the hotel industry. It adds to the boutique-like atmosphere and makes the space feel very deliberate. The private room itself was beautiful, though with a full group it became noticeably warm. Not a dealbreaker, just something worth noting for larger gatherings. Service was a strong point. The staff was attentive throughout the event, regularly checking in for drink orders, refilling waters, and responding quickly to requests for napkins without needing much prompting. They were consistently polite and helpful. There was one slightly odd moment where florals were removed from our table and then later one was returned or replaced. It felt a bit abrupt in the moment, though it may have simply been a miscommunication. Food was the weaker point. The margherita pizza leaned undercooked and fairly bland, with a soft texture that did not quite land. The artichoke dip arrived cold, which was surprising. If it is intended to be served cold, that could be clarified on the menu since many diners may expect a hot dip. Plates were provided, but utensils and napkins were not immediately set out, which created minor inconvenience. For transparency, I did not personally pay since this was a work-hosted event. For a group of 13 with automatic gratuity applied, the total came to $930.25. For context, this included two charcuterie boards (variety of meats, cheeses, and honey), two margherita pizzas, one artichoke dip, and roughly twenty drinks ordered across the group. A few neutral logistics that may help others: Vendors were present during our visit, including make-your-own flower bouquets and permanent jewelry. Unclear whether this is typical or event-specific, but it added to the atmosphere. Parking is street only with standard downtown limits, so planning ahead is advisable. The venue attracts a younger crowd overall, consistent with the trendy, social leaning concept. Overall impression: visually charming space with strong ambience and attentive staff, but the food execution did not quite match the setting. A good venue for themed gatherings or celebrations where atmosphere is the priority.

Caitlin was an outstanding server who was very engaged with the customers and was serving a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon on tap. The store is very clean and welcoming to the foot traffic on 5th street. They have some very nice keepsakes for sale like hats and shirts. The happy hour wine was awesome.

Wine Girl was an amazing experience! Their drinks are flavorful and easy to drink dangerously so, but in the best way. The ambiance is warm, pink, clean, and just really cute a great setting for a night out. Sophia was a fantastic server, always attentive and on top of refills whether it was water or ordering another drink. I can't wait to come back and work my way through more of their menu, and they have plenty of events to give you a reason to return. The hard part will be branching out when both drinks I've tried have already been so good.

Food is limited to charcuterie, dips and pizza. Nice selection of California wines. Service is good. The decor is super cute with swings for photo ops. They sell swag tee shirts, wine glasses etc. Worth a trip to the Gaslamp.

Made it here for their opening night and this place is just what Gaslamp needed! An upscale, fun, and of course, girly space to grab a drink and have a fun night out! It was an excellent opening event with lots of food and drink, can't wait to come back and experience the place in full

To say fancy about Wine Girl in Gaslamp is honestly to say nothing. This place makes Bellagio look like a late-night fast food joint with plastic forks. The moment you walk in -- boom -- you're in a different dimension. Ultra classy. Ultra elegant. Ultra "I just closed a deal and now I deserve a perfect Pinot." And let me tell you something... I am very picky about my wine. Borderline annoying picky. But the fine Pinot here? Simply WOW. Smooth, intelligent, sophisticated -- like it went to private school and drives a Bentley. The whole vibe is pure premium lounge mode. Super relaxed, beautiful lighting, stylish crowd, and that rare energy where you can actually handle real business affairs while feeling like you're on a mini European vacation. This is not just a wine bar -- this is a strategic relaxation headquarters. Bonus for me -- it's literally two blocks from my state-of-the-art printing facility off Broadway & 6th, which means... yes... they have secured themselves a loyal daily-basis customer. Logistics + luxury = boss life solved. Special standing ovation to Selena -- the bar boss and absolute wine guru. This woman knows wine the way engineers know rocket science. Precision. Passion. Authority. I honestly wish my wife knew even 10% about fine wines like Selena does -- life would be dramatically more sophisticated at home Bottom line: Incredible wines. Beautiful atmosphere. Elite vibes. Perfect place to relax, reset, network, and make power moves. My number one and only wine spot in Gaslamp. Easy 10 stars. God bless. Just woww

I made a reservation (just in case) because on a weekend you never know. Luckily, though, we arrived and there was plenty of available seating. We enjoyed sharing a few plates and fresh oysters on the half shell. They do not have a kids menu, which was alright with us. Our daughter, who loves a good steak at 5 years old, enjoyed their pub steak and fries and shared a Mexican Coke with her brother. For my husband and I, we enjoyed sharing their beef tartare and to finish it off, a banana split. What we found so whimsical about Finca is their presentation. My husband and I really enjoyed exploring their menu and leaving room for a return visit soon. The place is very small and even being there early, all the inside seats were already taken. We sat on the patio, which on a nice day would have been fine, but it was a cold and windy evening. We asked if they could turn on the heat lamps, but they said they were out of propane. It took probably 15 minutes for anyone to greet us after that. We were told we would get to try 4 or 5 champagnes. And while they were trying their best, it just took such a long time between pours, and we didn't end up trying all of them, as they ran out of at least one. They did compensate by pouring more of the others, but they just didn't seem ready for the group that was there. We ended up shoving our way to stand inside, as it was not pleasant outside. It was a really cute place, and they all seemed very nice, but if they are going to have events, they need to be much more organized and probably limited to a smaller number of people unless they can put more tables out in the lobby area. I had been excited to check it out, but left feeling that we didn't have a good experience.
