Next we called Specialty Glass. Someone was out to measure the glass the following business day, an estimate was provided, contract accepted, final measurements taken and a down payment made. The glass came in, we were contacted on a Friday for installation on Monday, as soon as it came off the truck. The techs were neat, professional, and personable. The sidelight looks as good as the day after the impact windows were originally installed. We cannot say enough good things about this company, and the other reviews seem to echo the same. If you need impact glass replaced, this is the place to go. We would certainly do so again. The staff we met - Kurt, Christina, Eric, Tico (sp) and Shane were all terrific.

Spoke with the folks at Specialty glass, gave them my rough measurements over the phone, they had a guy come out the next morning to take final measurements, and the following morning they showed up to install the new glass. Installers were friendly, cleaned up the broken glass, and did a great job. I highly recommend Specialty Glass if you're ever need a repair like this. Not only did they get the job done in a couple of days when others quoted weeks, they beat the lowest competitor on price by $100.

Just a few hours after posting my original story below, we received a call from them, and they did everything possible to make things right. Fausto came to our home, inspected the entire job, and created templates based on our existing countertops. We then visited their brand-new, spacious showroom--filled with beautiful items--and discussed our options with Andrea. They were wonderful and genuinely wanted us to be happy. We selected the perfect marble slab, and the replacement installation was completed within the week. We are so delighted with our new countertops that I couldn't wait to share the news. All of our issues were fully resolved, and we received many heartfelt apologies from the team. Our perfect kitchen is finally complete. I will recommend this company to everyone. Five out of five stars! Even after all that time had passed, they stood by their work and made sure we were happy. ================== =============== These guys were great until they installed the product. The countertops were not the same ones from the shop where we picked them out. They were somehow weather beaten or something as there were marks everywhere that made them look like they were ten years old and totally abused. Yet they were brand new and not cheap. All requests to have them come to try to clean them in place were stalling tactics. People who were going to help (who said it would be no problem to clean) never showed up and eventually we were told they no longer work there. No one seemed to care anymore. Now I can not fit my stove into the space that should be a standard 30". I contacted the company to send someone out to correct it and I was told that I would have to pay an additional $250 service call, plus "whatever they would charge for the grinding." It is shocking that they will not correct it without charging me this outrageous amount to fix their mistake! Kelly Stone clearly does not care about the quality of their work or their customers. I will never use or refer them again.

This was a good idea just to make sure we liked what we were buying. The staff was knowledgeable and worked hard to cut and install our kitchen countertop within the 5 week window we were working with. At times I felt the communication could have been better as we had a small issue which was quickly resolved after the installer suggested an excellent fit. Alfredo was involved from beginning to end to ensure we have were satisfied customers. He was absolutely excellent and professional from beginning to end. Customers are most satisfied when something small and unexpected happens and the issue is resolved quickly with patience and professionalism. We were promised, on several occasions, C-Tek (Made in Italy) sinks for both bathrooms and kitchen but received (Made in China) inferior product. When we questioned the changed the manager insisted that it was the same quality and started referring to the discounts we received on the granite tops. During all our meetings the manager kept talking about how C-Tek was the best quality made products. Now that we found out they installed something else, it's now the same quality as the Made in China product. The kitchen sink surface is awful and we requested that their distributor contact us. Were still waiting! Also, when they measured for the kitchen counter tops the estimator included 2 seams indicating that is was a requirement. After complaining they agree to eliminate the seams. The piece was so small it did not require any seams but they try to save more granite for themselves. In summary they do not deliver what was promised and then try to cut corners by adding more seams in the granite counter tops.

They told me that whoever is painting the rooms should take it from there.], tile has multiple mis-cuts and I had to redo all room-to-room transitions to hide unfinished edges and mis-cuts, project management (for 90% of the job) was awful, scheduling was ALWAYS uninformed and wrong, and project that was estimated at 8 weeks took a full 7 months to complete. They do make good quality cabinet boxes and doors though and the owner does try, within limits, to eventually address all the problems that they generate. Definitely would not recommend using Kitchen Konnections based on our experience.
