First time tanner here. Literally, I've never even had a spray tan. So I came in today to ask a few questions about pricing and really, how the whole thing works. Shyla took me on a tour of all of their beds and told me about the benefits of each. I was pleased to know they have multiple beds in different price ranges, and two different kinds of spray tans. Having no prior knowledge, she educated me about the different lotions, bronzers, and skin care they have that would benefit me the most since I'm not looking to be super dark, just a healthy glow. She was able to find products in my price range that smell and feel good, and I'm glad knowing it's not something I have to purchase every single time or every month. I chose bed 14 on Shyla's recommendation- can't remember what it's called but it's one of their platinum beds. She set me up for six minutes because I'm super pale and don't want to burn haha. She went through all of the different settings, how to change the fans, hook up my own music if I want, and even the aromatherapy! The bed had a fresh towel, a pair of protective eye shades, and it looked exceptionally clean. At the end of my session, I felt amazing! It was very relaxing and I can't wait to go back again. I wasnt charged the prorated amount for the first month. I informed them and they pronised i would get the prorated amount the following month but nope. Can't get ahold of anyone in corporate. I've been going here for a long time and last night was by far not good. I've never used the versa and expected to be showed how to use it but unfortunately I was not showed. There was one person working and it was very busy everybody wanted to spray tan.. So while I was waiting my turn she can't help it because she is signing someone up... With a line behind that... So I honestly felt sorry for the poor girl it was very overwhelming I'm sure. Not enough help for the volume.. So needless to say my spray tan didn't come out right.. But thank god for YouTube now I know how to use it for next time if there is a next time. read more

Get rid of roaches and don't expect people to use room with multiple dead roaches. It's just gross. Has happened 2x. Was not offered to use an upgraded room on the other side. That would have been a reasonable offer. read more

I live and have my membership at the Midland location but I'm writing this review at this Lubbock location because one of the assistant managers at one of the Lubbock locations is here working in Midland right now and she is awesome! I've had my membership for about a month and every other employee at the Midland location hasn't been very helpful. I haven't tanned in a few years and so much has changed. I can't remember her name but she was great. I know it's hard that find good employees in Midland but hopefully the other girls here have taken some notes since she's been here helping out. I am absolutely never going to this location again. I have been going there for a little over two years now, (when it was still Amazing Tans), and have always thought the staff was super friendly and willing to help explain the membership options. So, I went in at the end of December to do a Versa Spa spray tan. The girl that was working at the counter told me that I still had a premium tanning bed session that I could switch out for an unlimited membership for that month and the memberships were half off. I said that I would do that, but I was weary of getting into a commitment, so I made sure before I signed anything what the contract was and when I could freeze or cancel the account. After being very pushy and not helpful, I was told plainly, THE END OF THE MONTH. No more, no less. Lo and behold, I decide to keep it until the end of January and come in on the 30th to cancel my account and get one last spray tan and the girl working told me that I had to come in before the 25th of the month to cancel, so I would be charged $50 for another month, regardless. I told her what I was told and she said she would call the manager, who said the same thing. I told them that it wasn't right for them to tell me incorrect information and then try to charge my account. She said, VERY RUDELY, "Well, if you want to come in Monday and talk to the manager, you can have her tell you the same thing." NEVER, NEVER, NEVER going back in there and dealing with such rude, inconsiderate staff members. Terrible service, terrible staff, terrible management for hiring them. Not everything is about earning that extra dollar, ladies. read more
