I came in with my husband around noon last week, we both go to the Hunstville store and it's amazing however we were closer to Madison and decided to try it out. We both laid and sprayed and when going into the bed I found a TINGLE lotion was still on the bed causing me to break out in hives!! The top of the bed had hand prints all around it and my towel was soaking wet. When I went to spray I was recommended a new add on for my spray and told them I DIDN'T want to turn Orange and that's exactly what happened. The staff was super disrespectful when I brought up my issues with the machine dripping on me and me being immediately orange/red. Cussing and vaping during our interaction I was immediately put off definitely never coming to this location again. read more

I love this tanning salon! Savanna and Hannah are usually there every time I come in and they are super friendly, helpful, and sweet! The salon is always clean and has the best beds and great deals on lotions! I love the tingle lotions. The spray tans are great. As always, Customer Service is top notch! I also like that I never have to wait for a bed or if I do, it's not long at all! Additionally, if you sign-up for their email list you receive lots of "specials" and sometimes freebies! There are contests, referral bonuses & so much more! This is the only tanning place I've been to that goes out of their way to make tanning fun! I had topnotch customer service at this location from Sylvia. (I think that is her name- I believe she is the manager) I only do spray tanning and I was nervous about the results since I had poor spray tans years before. Spray tanning has come a long way and I am now impressed! Sylvia spent at least 30 minutes of time going over everything- my options, her recommendations, tips on getting a better tan, etc. Because she took the time to do this on my first visit, I will be a permanent customer. The other girl who works in there is nice as well. I have tried different options on both the mystic tan and the VersaSpa. For anyone looking for a very natural tan, I would suggest the "light" option on mystic. It is by far my favorite. It gives a nice sun kissed glow without being brassy. I purchased a package which makes the price very affordable. The coverage is even and fades naturally. But the staff is really good at making recommendations for your skin color and preferences. Anyway, I never write reviews but I thought this place deserves it. Tanning salons get a bad reputation for poor service but this location has been the exception for me. The girls are nice enough, but the policies stink. My daughter signed up for 2 months just to tan for Senior Prom. First she got a rash on her legs from the beds not being cleaned properly and then on the day she needed to cancel (yes, they give you one day otherwise you give up your tanning for the remainder of the month you have already paid for) she ended up in surgery to remove her appendix. It has been 3 phone calls and 2 visits and I cannot get the manger to call me back. Of, course the auto debit came out and they charged her the 3rd month. All we want is our money back for the 3rd month that she is not using. It was impossible for her to get this cancelled the day of and the day after surgery read more

I just called this location to gain more information about their products and services. I have never had a tan nor have I known anyone who has had one before. When I called, I immediately explained that this is new and can you tell me how this process works as well as a ball park figure of the cost as well. It was like pulling teeth with her, I was asking opened ended questions but she managed to make the answers as short and abrupt as possible. I am in my second month as a member at Palm Beach Tan in Madison. The fact is that you can go anywhere and tan, so why would I go to Palm Beach Tan? The obvious answer is customer service. I looked at other places and at one place it was almost like how dare you bother me with a bunch of questions. When I walked into Palm Beach Tan it was an entirely different experience. I was greeted by the young lady behind the counter and asked if she could help me. I told had never tanned before and had questions. Sylvia showed me around and took time to make shure she had answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I may have. .I felt comfortable enough to purchase a membership and so far I have had nothing but positive experiences each and every time I visit. I am impressed that they require you to wear eye protection while tanning. I have no idea why you would not want to as it is more for your protection than it is theirs. I was told I could buy it there or someplase else as long as I used it. Being new to tanning they have been very helpful in advising me how long I should tan without the risk of burning. I read a review where the person thought it was a bad thing to have young people working there. I can tell you that from my experience that while yes they are young the bottom line is that they are both very professional and friendly. Now that they know me I can tell you that every time I go in I am greeted by my first name and am made to feel welcome. I do not do business with businesses.... I do business with the people and I am here to tell you that the folks at Palm Beach Tan continue to earn my business with a level of customer service that shows a pride of ownership by all the employees.
