Let me start by saying I don't have a lot of free time, so when I go to a professional I'm paying for your time and expertise to save ME time. I wax my underarms but I wanted my legs done properly. The salon is clean and well organized, I can say that at least. My esthetician is a very fun person but her wax knowledge is lacking. The wax was too hot and gave me a heat rash each time. While she did use a clean stick each time, she didn't apply any tension and pulled slowly. My leg hairs are not removed, they are all broken. So I am left to deal with a multitude of ingrown hairs and stubble! I'm really upset and I HATE leaving bad reviews but this was too much to let slide. Never again. read more

I've been a EWC customer for many years, and this is the 4th location I started visiting, and gotta say they're still consistent. They are new to the area, so they were very receptive to feedback when I encountered some issues on my first visit, and I haven't had a problem since. Coming from Seattle, the mask policy, or lack of it here, was a bit confusing, but local regulations are very different in AL and businesses can only do so much. So be aware that masks are not required at this location, but you are free to wear one if you prefer it. Plus at least some of the technicians do wear one. read more

Why do I not live here and why can't I have Hailey as my regular waxer!? Drove into town and needed to schedule a 911 appointment, made my last appt. with her at 8:45PM and arrived early at 8:30PM, didn't want to hold the place up from closing for the night. She is so nice and makes you feel extremely comfortable when she's all close to your lady parts during a full, remove it all Brazilian. I will say she's been one of the best to take me on that trip to Brazil considering other waxers I've been to have not been as gentle and detailed with making sure wax is removed and there's no existing hair gone. Now, I'll be scheduling my Wax appts in Madison with my trips to Huntsville! Thank you again EWC Madison and Hailey! Can't forget about the gals up front, they were super nice and very welcoming. I've been to a couple ewc's and this one I will never return to again! They got the wax paper stuck to my labia and had to have another person come in to get it off and the other staff was very rude and unprofessional. They were cursing at each other and talking about other people (employees and customers). 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Okay if you're contemplating waxing (specifically brazillians) you need to stop right now and just do it! I went for this first time with my best friend and the two ladies at the front desk were super nice and helpful with all the questions we had. We were clearly nervous and they assured us we would do great and answered any questions we had. Our friendly and super cool esthetician, Hailey, made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, being that it was my first time and I was extremely nervous. She is awesome and will definitely see her again before I move! read more

I took my daughter for a lower leg wax yesterday. The receptionist was very friendly on the phone when booking and just as welcoming when we arrived. Hailey was exceptional. She made sure my daughter was comfortable and did a very thorough job. The results were perfect with very little discomfort or redness. Let me start off by saying that I was extremely happy when I found out that EWC was coming to Madison! I moved from PA a year ago and was sad when I found out it wasn't here initially. I'm a stickler on customer service and let me tell you that these ladies did not disappoint!!!! Miya is a doll! She was so pleasant and professional and I could hear her smile in her voice. She explained the wax passes thoroughly and made sure I got the best deal. She greeted me as soon as I walked thru the door which is also a big plus for me. She checked me in quickly and before I could even sit down, Hailey was calling my name to come back (talk about being on time!!!!) This was the quickest and most thorough wax I've had since moving here a year ago! In that short amount of time, we talked about everything under the sun, and I felt like I had been knowing her for years. She is officially my new waxer! I have been going to EWC for 4 years in Tuscaloosa so I was so excited one was where I was moving. But disappointed is an understatement. Last time I went I waited over an hour for my scheduled appointment but I have some grace. I was scheduled this week for a wax, called to reschedule because all of the waters called out.. still have some grace because things happen but today was my last chance. Showed up for my appointment on my lunch break to find out my waxed didn't show up again. No call or text instead I showed up and was asked to reschedule again. I never leave reviews but I would highly recommend finding somewhere else to get a wax. read more

Very unprofessional! From the first time impression I got on the phone with a rude girl who sounded so put out to have to take my call to when I walked through the door for my appointment. The phone receptiontist then proceeds to run to the back for five minutes before she even greeted me for check in. Then only to return to tell me that Andrea can't not see me now because I am too late. Judging from the other comments here they are the ones that are typically running behind schedule. I am very grateful that I didn't see this Andrea, I definitely do not trust that she would even give a quality service, based on her bad attitude!
