I paid for 3 sessions of RF microneedling. The first time went great. The second time was so deep that it left discoloration and scarring on my face. I talked to the owner, who was very dismissive. He gave me cream that was supposed to help with healing but didn't give any instructions on how to use it. To make matters worse, he gave me the cream as if I owed him for it. I had multiple RF microneedlings before moving to Alabama. So, I know that this time was not normal. It has been over a month since then, and the discoloration and needle scars persist. I reached out to the owner for a full refund. He said they don't provide refunds but only store credit. Please tell me who, in their right mind, would want to go back to their medspa after what I have endured. Microneedling is supposed to make my face look better, not damage it. I have taken care of my skin, and they ruined it. The least they can do is own up to it and hold themselves accountable. Do not go to this spa! If something goes wrong with your procedure, you are on your own! They have no accountability! read more

I am floored! I could not have had a better experience at Growing Younger Clinic! I was treated like royalty from the moment I walked in the door. The facility is laid out well, the decor is tasteful and warm, and most importantly the place is very clean. I knew I was in good hands from the moment I walked up to the front desk. Their prices on procedures are incredible comparatively to other med spas. I had Miradry performed, and paid literally half of what all the spas and doctors offices in my area charge, which is why I traveled out of town to have it done. Dr. Jamey performed my anesthesia and made sure I was comfortable and well numbed. Lydia was the technician who performed the procedure and she was thorough at explaining and was very warm and friendly. I also had cool sculpting done, and Emory checked on me multiple times throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing fine. World class staff!! I was blown away. I was badly burned during laser hair removal by an Aesthetician at Growing Younger Clinic. A year later I still have damage yet I have never received any compensation for my dermatologist visit, reimbursement for makeup required to camouflage burn, the botched laser service, or even a follow up phone call from the technician to see if I was okay. Complaints were filed with BBB, Alabama Board of Cosmetology, and the Board of Chiropractic Examiners. The Board of Chiropractic Examiners invoked disciplinary action in the form of a $30,000 fine and 5 year probation on the owner for unprofessional conduct and performing services outside the allowable scope of his chiropractic license. The Cosmetology Board fined the clinic $750. BEWARE: MAKE SURE A MEDICAL DOCTOR PERFORMS ANY LASER SERVICES or is at the very least in house at the time of service. The laser hair removal is pretty good however I would like to note they are awful at helping you change an appt. if you ever need to rebook an appt it take at least 2 mths to get back in the clinic. There is no wait list for cancellations or anything. Its a Chiropractor office that has a massage therapist and an Esthetician (facials) I came here based on the deal that was on Groupon, In which to me a month to even receive. When she started the massage I started to ask her questions about the Massage Therapist Industry in which I wanted to know all about since I am in school studying that field. She gave me toads of information and I loved our conversations. But, as the silence of our conversation faded I begin to feel the swedish massage and it was becoming uncomfortable so I told her..that's too hard and so she went medium and I told her that was to hard and then she tried to go light..that didn't work. I felt like she was pinching me and that sh** hurted like hell. When I left I felt tense and the next two days I felt sore I mean I could barely do a morning stretch. I did give her a tip only because she did give me information I wanted to know about MT and the exam. I did not give her a tip based on my massage. If you are into sports massage or trying to get a kink out from a car accident than she is your girl other wise..its far from relaxing. Oh and she is the only massage therapist that works there, So if you go than take that into consideration that she is the same person that massaged me and who will massage you. Good Luck read more

If you know anything about massages you know that Swedish is a DEEP tissue massage. Sounds to me like you just wanted a good rub down. Also, after you get a massage it is quite normal to feel a little discomfort if the massage was given properly. I loved this massage therapist! Not a good experience. Thought I would try a local microdermabrasion through Groupon and now wish I had not. Tonja was my aesthetics person and she dabbed the wand at varied areas of my face. No continuity. Not thorough. She was not even pleasant. A little stroke here, a little stroke there, for about 10 minutes, a series of masques and that was it. I went to Growing Younger for a microdermabrasion treatment. I did not go through with the treatment. I felt that the staff was very unprofessional and unfriendly. I also felt that the facility was not clean. Upon entering the facility, the first thing you saw was a large staff lounge with the door open. A loudly colored "Happy Birthday" sign was handing up and there was old food on the table which looked as if it had not been cleaned in several days. I was appalled. In addition, I was asked to sign a waiver about the procedure with no one explaining it to me. They wanted me to initial sections that said "the procedure and risks and benefits were reviewed by the doctor or their staff" without explaining it to me.
