Going over it once instead of twice probably would have sufficed. My tan did last a good portion of my trip even after snorkeling in salt water.

At 8pm on a Thurs, it was busier than I was expecting, but I was still out in 15 minutes. The medium tan in clear always gives me the perfect glow with no streaking. It serves the purpose…read more I used to frequent the Richmond Heights location, which was so much more convenient for a City resident (Des Peres is out of the question), but had to use up my lingering tans at Des Peres. During the summer there is regularly a wait, sometimes so much that I looked in the window and turned around and left. The prices were pretty good, but VersaSpa is getting cheaper now so it doesn't seem all that great anymore. Some of the equipment is dated, covered in tanning solutions and just mucky. I've used Versa in Las Vegas when I work there and at Beach House Bronze. At this point, I definitely prefer the VersaPro, which is basically the same price at Beach House Bronze, and just a new salon. I did leave my wedding ring there once and they grabbed it and held it for me, so kuddos for that. Towels are readily available, along with hair nets, but no nose plugs or lip balm (supplied by the salon in Vegas). They also often have diet pill advertisements/samples and things like that laying around which looks cheap and as if they're trying to make a quick buck. It's a bit trashy.

I have been dying to experience the viral japanese head spa I keep seeing everywhere! I booked a 60…read moreminute headspa which consisted of a scalp massage, shampoo, conditioning mask / steam, facial cleanse, sheet mask, arm massage, and heated eye mask. She rinsed my hair, applied some face lotion, and gave me some time to apply leave-in conditioner & blowdry my own hair before leaving. Was it relaxing? Absolutely. Do I think it was worth the hype? If I'm being honest, no. I definitely don't think it was worth the full retail price of $130 + tip. I was disappointed the scalp massage was so short and that it didn't include a neck massage. She also didn't use any hair tools I've seen in their promo videos and spent a decent amount of time just combing out my knotted hair at the end. I feel your money is better spent on a massage or facial. I also booked a cupping massage to see how it differed from traditional swedish massages I've had. This was a unique experience consisting of warm oil, hot towels, deep breathing, stretching, and (of course) suction cups. I was surprised when the cups were fluidly incorporated into the massage before temporarily being placed in certain areas of tension. My body felt much less tense than when I walked in! However, I'd be remiss to point out it was uncomfortable at times because of heavy force exerted during stretches, pinching from the cups when there wasn't enough oil for glide, and scraping from her longer fingernails. I also unfortunately received a quarter sized bruise on my arm inside a cup mark. I would make sure you don't have plans to show skin for at least a week or two and be sure to drink plenty of water before AND after. The salon itself is clean and smells nice. They have an extensive spa menu with lots of options to treat yourself or someone you love. I saw a menu for wine next to the tea and water (I'm not sure if it's complimentary as I wasn't offered any, but if so, that's a nice perk!) They're located on the one-way stretch of Manchester so just be sure to keep an eye out for their sign so you don't miss them

My wife and I always paid in full each year, then after not renewing they try to charge saying that there was a contract that has to be paid to cancel a membership that didn't exist. They pressure for a credit card to cancel then when that doesn't work they use whatever they can find that was used previously. Don't fall for the SCAM!!!!
