The staff is always friendly, accommodating, & knowledgeable about services and products making recommendations and answering any questions clients may have. The managers do a great job training the part time staff. I have a service animal and this is definitely a "happy place" to take a break after errands appointments. And "The Guy" is the best!!

Most places will start treating you differently if you don't want to sign up for the best memberships or have concern. The lady heard me and told me the first tan was free, and then showed me that I can sign up for texts and get another free tan. There was no mention of memberships or pricing or anything. I signed my little waiver and within 5 minutes got into a bed. She also gave me her recommendations, as I burn super easily, and I actually didn't come out burnt! It was super clean and I really liked the vibe of the room! Solely because of this treatment, I'll never go to another tanning salon, and I'm more than happy to come back often and pay full price! I completely understand that businesses need to make money and a profit, but this marketing is better than just handing someone a list of prices and trying to convince them to choose the most expensive one. Apparently what she meant was the 25th and didn't realize that months have different amount of days in them and not every 25th is 5 days before the 1st. I didn't even care that when I signed up that they had to literally screw on a door for me to even use the bed bc the entire place was torn apartment. In fact, it was bc of this state of repair that I agreed to their "special promotional pricing", which I was told I would lose if I cancel my membership. Instead, I was told to pause my membership for $7 a month to keep my promotional pricing or it would charge me full price if I canceled and then returned some months later. So imagine my surprise when the special pricing lasted only 15 days and was then switched to full price (which was double). So now you can see why I wanted to cancel. The manager working at the time of me trying to cancel in person was Maddi Adams. She told me she didn't care what I was told...I was still going to get charged bc it was after the 25th. She then told me neither she, other managers, their corporate office, or MY bank would help me. It was at that point I asked her how old she was and when she said "20", I said I can tell. She then said "you're a bitch". I said I can tell you don't have much life experience if you think my bank isn't going to help me. FYI my bank did stop the payment and told me she 100% could have done it herself but chose to lie and say she couldn't. Now as if this experience wasn't enough...I found out the next day (today) that Maddi recorded me without my knowledge (remember she's the manager and on the clock) and made a tik tok with that recording of me in it. And she shared it with the public. I have now reported this store and Maddi to the BBB, their corporate office, and Indiana's labor department. Oh and I was advised to get a lawyer so I am looking into that.

This location has been a less than pleasant experience for myself and my daughter. But the worse part about this experience was the customer service. The 3 times we visited (in the past month), I asked how to make her spray tan better and more even. We never receive suggestions or advice to help her spray tan be more even. We feel that we are either annoying the workers or they just genuinely don't know how to help us and aren't sure how to answer our questions. My daughter got her first spray tan before freshman homecoming. It was a memorable moment we shared. Unfortunately, her spray tan came out blotchy and uneven. I called to ask them for advice and was told to call back after 1:00 when the manager would be there. I wasn't give any suggestions or advice to help us. We went in after 1:00 and the manager just told us she could spray tan again. So, she did. I was also not made aware that I would have to pay for toners (and all the extras) every time she spray tans with the unlimited spray tan membership. I asked before purchasing the membership if everything was included and I was told everything was included in the membership. I tried to cancel my membership over the phone the morning of 9/2 after I got a notification from my credit card that a charge was taken out of my account. I was told that I had to physically go in there to cancel. What a hassle. I'm glad I wasn't working out of town. The blotchy spray tans and customer service was subpar to my expectations. I canceled and requested a full refund-- which was denied by customer service. Their website says if you're unhappy for any reason, you can get a refund within 30 days. Honestly, transparency, and kindness is important to me. Because of this, I'm giving 0 stars for my experience. UPDATE- 10/20/23 I emailed customer service and they were unwilling to refund me. I also emailed the Penelope who responded to this review on Monday 10/16 and have yet to get any response.

Each nail tech has their own station, so it very quite and calming. Khara Totten always does a great job on my nails. She is easy to schedule with.
