Deal was fair to both sides and should have been appreciated during this environment as unit was almost 50k. I was told "deposits only holds price, not vehicle". Essentially saying we might agree to deal, allow you to drive 3+hours next weekend to close deal, and we will sell it out from you without warning if possible. No issue we withdraw ... also note they have a 995.00 dealer prep and handling fee which is pure profit to dealer. Consider that in addition to their vehicle markup. read more

We drove 2 1/2 hours to get to this dealership. I called to verify car was still in inventory. Beautiful car but it was not certified pre owned as car gurus and car fax had advertised. Gettel says not their fault hmmmmm really? Seems misleading to me. The internet price was 36,030.00 In showroom price was 37, ???.00 (I zoned out at that point). Did I mention we'd driven 2 1/2 hours? I had my printed papers showing internet price. Did you know you're penalized for paying cash? Yep $ 1,000.00 more to pay cash, last thing I knew paying cash was a good thing not something to be penalized for. Go figure We have a car that we have owned 4 of, has very very low miles (11,000) that they wanted to do us a favor by giving us 5K for but yet not come down one penney on the internet car that they were charging me more for than internet price. Our car looks like new, drives like new, has NOTHING wrong with it other than it's a 2011. It's a Lucerne which we bought last year to replace #3 Lucerne because we love Lucernes and they aren't made anymore. We can't find a new car we like the ride & handling of comparably soooooooo we keep buying low miles Lucernes. We'd always bought new until the last two, trust me a Lincoln doesn't compare nor does a Vaddillac, or Lexus yesssssss we've tried. Bottom line advertised price was not as advertised it was contingent on getting financing and a trade in... very deceptive and not advertised correctly. Perhaps they should clearly note that advertised price is contingent on such. Anyways wasted 4 hours out of my day, but on the positive side the manager at the Naples Lincoln dealership had told me don't worry if the deal doesn't work out I will work with you to find you the right car at a comparable price. I reached out to Gettel Lincoln about a 2022 BMW 7 Series, trying to gather information and negotiate a price, considering the over 100-mile distance. Jexson responded as the Sales Person. Although our initial conversation seemed fine, he consistently ignored my inquiries about taking my current leased car (with 7 months remaining) and the prevailing interest rates. Despite clarifying my credit score is well above 800 and my willingness to put down more than 25%, he disregarded this until his final email, where he abruptly stated, 'Time has done the negotiating for you on this particular unit,' his exact words. In all my years dealing with dealerships, I've never encountered such dismissive behavior. It's disappointing to essentially be told to 'get lost' (putting this in a nice term) for asking legitimate questions and attempting to negotiate. It's unprofessional and an upsetting experience. I hope management addresses this, so others won't face the same treatment. If Jexson had issues with my negotiating approach, as a representative of a reputable dealership, he could have addressed this more politely or had his manager contact me. In a sales/service business, saying things like this to a customer interested in your product is never acceptable. Don't waste your time visiting this dealership. Called on a vehicle listed on the web and made and appointment to test drive the vehicle. The price magically went up on line within minutes. Luckily I had a snap shot and ""Mike", a manager, confirmed he would hold the price. I made an offer, signed the paperwork and left a $500 deposit but wanted a solid inspection of the vehicle. Needless to say after the inspection came back spotless, they sold the car from underneath me who offered more. Bad business ethics. Read all the reviews. Seems this is SOP for this dealership. What a bunch of scam artists. I tried to buy a car for my son from them and they pulled a typical sketchy used car dealer scam. $13,000 for a car that is worth $11,000. tax is to be expected, But what wasn't expected was the $1100 dealer fee, the $400 title fee, A $1500 reconditioning fee. I felt like I was dealing with a sketchy used car dealer That didn't disclose all of the EXTRA fees. Yes the used car market is high right now, but you don't try to just plain rape and rob people. Despicable experience. Parents purchased an MKz with 400miles on it. An hour after getting it home and some rain, found cupholder full of water due to leaking sunroof, moisture in rear tail light, trunk liner popping out of place. Called right away & brought it back next business day. Manager Steve Calden refused to take the car back. Had a service tech inspect the vehicle and tell us they will simply adjust the seal (water damage inside the headliner?). Steve was rude, patronizing & downright nasty the way he spoke down to us, consistently interrupting, not letting anyone else than himself speak and yelling. Changed his story on several things multiple times and got flat out pissed when called out on it. Then "promised" (in a rather nasty tone) that he would fix whatever the warranty covers. They sold a water damaged car. Issue that could and SHOULD have been easily taken care of had Steve Calden cared more about doing the right thing car than his bottom line or his ego. read more

They advertise a car for a certain price, then I receive and emailed quote for the vehicle and it is different than the online price. So, I called to verify the price online and was told that the price online is correct. I had purchased a new Lincoln MKC in May, 2017. One of the most rewarding experiences purchasing a car I have had; and being a Ford Motor Co retiree, I've had many. On Jan 12, 2018 I had the first service completed on my MKC. When I made the appointment I was told with the complimentary car wash it would take one (1) hour. It took 62 minutes. Gettel Lincolin service is awesome, they have a new redcap service that picks you up and drops you off if you don't want to wait, and the best thing is they not only can service my Lincoln, but ALL my ford cars and trucks including my daughters escort and my f150 truck. I brought my f150 in for service and they found an issue that was under warranty and just fixed it while they were doing the basic maintenance. Scott Dolloff their service manager always has his door open for questions, and doesent think twice about helping you with any need possible. I highly recommend to talk to Joe Fox there main service writer if you have any questions. read more

Went to service to get an oil change and was greeted by a person sitting behind a desk talking on the phone, never looked at me and stated "what can I do for you". I assumed was talking to me, so I stated I wanted an oil change. Person stated they were on hold (still not looking at me) and asked to schedule appointment and offered some dates and times. Further conversation and them person started talking on phone again for @ 5 minutes. Never excused themselves and never addressed me even to distinguish a difference between conversation with me versus the phone conversation. We have credit scores over 800. We liked our salesman Gary. He was very helpful. The problem is their advertising and finance department. If you don't trade in a car they raise the price $1000. That was the first problem. When we went into financing at 6:30pm after being there over 5 hours, we were shocked that the rate on loan was 5.5%. I said that was too much. He said " I can get you 3.5% if you buy the extended warranty. It only raises your payment $40 and you never have to pay for any repairs or oil changes, etc. " Sounded like a good idea. Paperwork was signed on a desktop that is a computer screen. When we got home and plugged the flash drive in they gave us, there was a $260 charge per visit when you take in for work. My husband called to cancel and he lowered it to $100 deductible. Still sounded fishy. When Achieva called us to confirm we had the car and he could release the money to them I asked about the extended warranty thing. He said they have that rate all the time and we didn't have to buy it. So I got on line with the warranty company's website and cancelled. Now I'm waiting for that to go off the lien. Oh and did I mention the warranty did not cover the life of the car. Just 50,000 miles. All together the package was over $4200. Have your financing in place before you go. They make a lot of money off selling you something you will probably not need. Especially on a Honda or Toyota. Ask for Gary if you do go. Steve in service department is great. read more

Drove 50+ miles to buy a 2018 F150 it was misrepresented in ad, but it was a nice vehicle and fair price. We agreed to a price but found out they lost the key fob and would not replace them. I asked for $200 off to replace them, they would not discount for the lost key fobs so we walked out only to get a call once I was on the interstate, we just kept driving. I drove a long way for nothing, but could not tolerate the dishonesty and old school sales tricks. read more
