I stopped by with the mission of grabbing lunch, doing a little retail therapy (because somehow I always "accidentally" find something I need), and letting my little one burn off some energy at the indoor play area. Talk about a win-win! While the tiny human was busy making new best friends for five minutes, I got to enjoy the rare luxury of sitting down without hearing, "Mom, watch this!" every 12 seconds. This mall is always clean, spacious, and has a great variety of stores, whether you're shopping for clothes, gifts, or just browsing to justify getting your daily steps in. There are plenty of dining options too, so it's easy to turn a quick stop into a fun afternoon. One of my favorite things is that it's family-friendly. The indoor play area is such a lifesaver during Arizona's triple-digit weather. Instead of melting outside, the kids can play in the air conditioning while parents get a tiny moment to recharge. Overall, Chandler Fashion Center is one of my favorite malls in the Valley. Whether you're shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or just looking for an easy family outing, this place checks all the boxes. Just be warned... you might walk in for lunch and leave with shopping bags you definitely didn't plan on buying. That's just part of the Chandler Mall experience!

**HEADS UP: SUMMER HEAT** This is my favourite mall, however I want to give everyone a heads up…read morethis summer: It is HOT inside this mall. I was talking to one of the managers at a store I was in and she said the mall turns its AC off from 9pm-9am. So by the time the mall opens, it's sweltering inside and takes all day to cool off. I think this might be a new policy or something they started this summer. I don't come very often but it's always usually really nice / borderline chilly inside. Was there around 12-130pm. Stay hydrated everyone; it's easy to underestimate the heat!

Really?? I haven't written a review for the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall yet?? Well here it…read moregoes... So I'm not a huge fan of any mall these days. Save 'em for the teeny boppers, lol. I like that this mall has high end stores but it also has stores for everyone else. There's a food court and a movie theater, too. Some of my favorite stores include Sephora, Lululemon, VS/VS Pink, and Jo Malone. I don't come very often even though it's less than 10 minutes from work. The parking situation is usually a nightmare and the traffic around the mall doesn't help. I feel like it's congested everywhere around the mall all the time. I do stop in once in a great while if I really need something. It's very clean and they are always opening new stores. The food court has a pretty good selection of cuisines, but if you're looking for anything fancy, you won't find it there. If parking was a breeze, I would probably come in more often, but I guess that's a good thing, lol. Happy shopping!

My family and I visited this mall a few weeks ago while we were in the area doing some shopping…read more There was plenty of parking available in the parking garage, which made it easy to get in and out. We enjoyed the variety of stores and restaurants, both inside the mall and in the surrounding area, so there are plenty of shopping and dining options to choose from. The mall itself was clean, spacious, and a nice place to escape the summer heat. During our visit, we noticed there was quite a bit of construction taking place. Because of that, some areas of the mall were temporarily inaccessible, and a few elevators and escalators were out of service. While it was a minor inconvenience, it didn't take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a pleasant visit and would return. Once the construction is complete, I'm sure the shopping experience will be even better.

Adj: Still Satisfactory and Solid Shopping Site…read more Still a pretty good mall in the Phoenix area. It's technically in Tempe, but it's in the valley so it's all the same, lol... There's so much offered here and really convenient and centrally located. Many different retail stores and restaurants. From clothing to novelty, to toys, shoes, to department stores, it's all here. Plus lots of eateries of all kinds, esp. in the food court area. Several clearance/"outlet" type stores for brand names like Nike too. There are also the movies, a Rainforest Cafe, a Legoland mini-theme-park, plus the Arizona SeaLife Aquarium, so you can definitely spend the whole day here and have so much fun, and find all kinds of goodies that'll lighten your heart and your wallet. Mall staff we saw were working hard at keeping all parts of the mall clean, esp. around the common areas like the bathrooms and emptying out trash cans, etc. at the food court. Individual retail store staff were friendly and helpful too. Overall, a really comprehensive and comfortably curated collection of stores in a clean shopping center environment. Most importantly, you'll get your steps in as this mall is in a vast space and on one floor, so it's quite spread out and you'll do a lot of walking. Thankfully, it's also nicely cool here, perfect for the heat in AZ.

There is also an arcade and a carousel in the middle of the mall today they had free interactions with the Easter bunny, and you can take pictures for purchase. They do have nice bathrooms, including the family bathroom however it was locked so you do have to call security to have them come unlock it for you, but someone was there in a matter of minutes. It wasn't dirty, but it could have been cleaner. I also have heard it can get a little bit rough here at night time, but I did not experience that while here around 10 AM to noon on a Saturday.

There are a lot of collectible and toy stores, including a Mini so. If you know somebody who loves anime and Funko pops, you'll definitely find a gift here. There is an Ulta here, but it is a very small kind of weird Alta. The perfume section is very small. This would not be my first choice to go to Ulta. The food court has some good choices with a Sarko Japan, Wetzel's Pretzels, and Sbarro, but we noticed some of the food places are gone, too, like Charlie's Steakery. I didn't notice whether the carousel was running while we were there. This is a relatively small mall and we were able to walk from one end to the other on bottom and top floors. If you like sporting goods, the Dick's sporting goods outlet is here. Macy's has closed, sadly, but they're still at Dillard's and JCPenney here. It has some of the standard mall stores like Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works, Torrid, Buckle, and Charlotte Russe. The line for Santa was quite long. There were children dressed up and families with matching pajamas. I was glad to see Santa getting so much business, especially because the photos are so expensive. It was a little sad, though, because even though it's the weekend before christmas, there was absolutely no Christmas music to make you feel the holiday spirit, or the shopping spirit. I couldn't help but feel a little sad because malls are a part of my growing up. Now it seems as though most malls are on their way out, and superstition is definitely among them. I hope it's around for a long while yet, but I'm guessing it's years or limited.
