One of my favorite studios in the area. The hot room uses infrared heaters which I love. You also get a rose water infused cold towel after hot classes. This is a full service studio meaning they supply everything!! They offer a wide variety of classes from power yoga to gentle or yin. There are also mediation opportunities as well as Pilates!! I've seen termites in the back (hot) yoga room. A few weeks after I raised concerns, my online account was blocked from booking classes at the studio. I've been coming to this studio for years. The bolsters and blankets have smelled musty and sweaty for as long as I can remember. There are a lot of classes where customers are packed in shoulder to shoulder. It makes the experience uncomfortable. I recommend trying another yoga studio if cleanliness and customer experience are important to you. This review reflects my personal experience and observations as a customer. ------ Update: After posting this review, I received a cease-and-desist letter from the studio's attorney requesting that I remove it and stating that legal action may be pursued if it remains online. Kim is an amazing barre instructor. Her classes are a mix of weights, ab work and barre. I always feel energized and motivated after class.

This is one of the stops that I always make when I am visiting family the region. Wonderful experience and people.

Unfortunately, even being just 2 minutes late means you're locked out and lose your paid class. I completely understand wanting classes to start on time, but for a studio in downtown area and construction along the River rd (sometimes on the busy weekends with no parking support), a brief grace period or alternative solution would go a long way. Yoga should make arriving feel welcomed any time. I drove 30 minutes to a class to just be locked out at 7:32 am. Phones are not answered, as a customer, you won't be supported. read more

It's been awhile since I have gotten to attend a hot yoga class in person due to a combination of my work schedule and limited class openings back home. I was able to attend Cher's hot class today and it was amazing! It was super hot, and challenging, but so good for the soul. Lots of great balance and core work. The drop in rate is $14 which is an absolute steal with mat included. The class was also ended with a cool lavender scented towel across my forehead. This studio also offers Pilates, Ariel yoga, and private Pilate classes which I don't quite understand but look really cool. They also offer hydrotherapy and something called facial stretching therapy. The boutique is also incredible. They host a wide array of natural gemstones as well as jewelry, yoga clothing, and incense. Cher who taught the class wrote a book of poetry that is sold in the store that I picked up after hearing some of it in the class. The owner was also super friendly and welcoming! I've been coming to Palm Studio for various classes for almost a year and it has only gotten better. Location: Convenient, flexible hours and easy to get to being centered on Dearborn St. Atmosphere: Warm, welcoming and you are usually greeted with a smile as you enter the boutique. Business: The sales area has an array of hand picked or made metaphysical items, including jewelry, raw and polished gemstones, soap, clothing, etc. As you go further in, you enter the room where larger classes are held. They ~literally ~ have something for everyone. Any age, any gender, and any experience level. Classes include Yin, Ariel, Barre, Hot, Pilates Mat, Gentle, etc. I promise, there will be something for you. As you proceed down the hall they have their Pilates equipment set up. Susan is a fantastic instructor and works within your limits. Call and schedule a date with her. Finally, in the back is a smaller room set up for smaller classes. A water cooler is also available if you need. Instructors: All instructors are experienced, clear, concise, professional and treat all with respect. I have taken various classes but tend to go to the more gentle classes. I can highly recommend Bethany's gentle, Marilyn and Annie's Yin and Susan's Pilates and Mat classes. Notes: They do accept walk-ins, however they tend to keep the classes small so they can work with each person and make any adjustments needed. So, MAKE A RESERVATION using the app Vagaro or call the boutique and Kari (owner) will set you up. Especially during season (the winter months). Extras: They also hold various other events to include Crystal Bowl Concert & Yoga, Fasical Stretch, Psychic readings and more as they present themselves. Finally: It took me a long time to find a place in the area that had the right "vibe". This place and the wonderful people that frequent there are absolutely amazing. read more

I have had 2 beginners yoga classes with Louise and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I'm really looking forward to my next class with her. Louise was patient and went at a pace that was just right. Her class was small and I got plenty of individual attention. The class was relaxing and peaceful and exactly what I needed. Palm Studio and Boutique is in a great location right on the water. It's got a wonderful boutique in the front with lots of beautiful crystals and candles and such. They have a variety of classes that are very reasonably priced. Everyone I've met there is friendly. I just can't say enough about what a pleasant and relaxing experience I had there and I am looking forward to going back soon. read more

I love the vibe in this studio, every person that practices here is warm and welcoming. My favorite is Vinyasa, Karen and Meagan's classes are the best fit for me. I like yoga at the end of my day and my only wish would be more 6pm Vinyasa classes. read more
