I had a peach iced tea which was sweet and refreshing. The bartender suggested several beers for my husband and he enjoyed the 2 different ones he tried. We split the pulled pork sandwich. It was ok - a bit dry but just add more sauce and/or coleslaw. We also ordered tator tots on the side and it was a big portion! They also have some games to pass the time: Jenga, pinball(?) machines, foosball and more

The restaurant has lots of seating and feels very laid-back and great for the end of a long day on the lake. I had one of the craft beers, Camp fire kolsch, which was delicious. For food I got the Hot Honey chicken sandwich, grilled- which was fantastic. We ordered a side of fries as the burgers do not come with fries. As for service, our server was very to-the-point, not quite friendly but not rude. It was okay for me because I was ready to be done for the day, but most of our party didn't feel welcomed by our server's attitude and we're all generally easy going. We paid our bill with cash, when our server came back with the receipt he dropped it with us and left with the change. I try to make a point of tipping generously, at least 20% but I'm not really okay with someone helping themselves to a 40% tip. He came back after a few minutes of us sitting there (wondering if he forget or really took off with our change) and gave us our change- we still left 20% for him because maybe it was just a forgetful moment... All in all, good food and drink, service could use some polishing.

The original BBQ sauce is perfectly balanced with tangy, spice, sweet but not too sweet. Hot links is nicely spiced and tasty. The Baby back ribs (we ordered full rack) and it was super tender, flavorful. The beans are tasty too. No collard greens or dirty rice. Parking lot on side of building. Has a large outdoor patio with plenty of misting. During our visit, it was 100 degrees and it was still pretty comfortable. Very pet friendly...they offer bone for our husky to chew and he had a blast!!!! Staff are super friendly and helpful. We dined during peak lunch hr and it was packed. But staff was always present and available. Thanks ya'll. Thanks for making our Grand Canyon and Page trip so memorable with your yummy BBQ Definitely a must try spot if you're a fan of BBQ. We'll be back next time we're in the area. Happy Eating!!

Order Full Rack of Baby Back Pork Ribs $36 as of June 2026. It will feed two hungry people. Or, it will feed three if you add a salad or sides. Try the three sauces in the bottles until you find the one that goes best with your ribs. . We were in Page for three nights and ended up eating there two nights in a row. The food is that good! They also have a fantastic live band that plays great music. We tipped them $5 and highly recommend tipping them at least that much or more. They're genuinely talented and add a lot to the atmosphere. I would come just for the music even if they stopped serving food. . The only downside was our server on the first night wasn't great. I don't know his name but some guy with tattoos everywhere but oddly one of his legs not tattooed. But the second night we had the sweetest waitress Tania, and the service was excellent! Overall, the food and live music make Big John's highly recommended!!! Don't miss it!

Many American Indians have been popularized in books, documentaries, and stirring motion pictures…read more  The Yavapai Indians, however, have been largely absent from such published history.   Historically situated in central and west‐central Arizona, the Yavapai, pronounced as yah-vah-pie," meaning "people of the sun," were semi-nomadic hunter-gathers who lived and traveled in small groups within specific home territories. Located within Yavapai Lodge in Grand Canyon Village, my partner and I stopped at this establishment for lunch in June. Yavapai Tavern is a casual, charming stone-accented watering hole offering a selection of regional craft beers, specialty cocktails, and a limited pub-grub menu. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Basically, one orders food at one of the registers, gets a table number, pays the bill, and leaves an optional tip. We decided on the American burgers, one with Provolone cheese and another with American cheese, including an optional side of house-made potato salad or macaroni salad. Our meal was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. However, the wait for food was long. Prices were affordable, especially considering the location inside the park. The staff was helpful when asked directly. This place also seemed to be less crowded than most other restaurants. While there weren't views of the Grand Canyon from the restaurant itself, the atmosphere still contributed to a nice dining experience.

Younplace an order via an app or order at the bar. Only plus is there's a nice fire pit and drinks were decent. Very expensive for what you get. Basically an upscale fast food place and food just a tiny step above. Also weird upon delivery of food we got one fork, no napkins, no condiments. Set your expectations. $80 for a burger, tacos from the appetizer menu, 1 can of beer (no glass offered) and a glass of "large sized wine - which was a typical pour). Just know this isn't a fine dining it's a place when you're hungry after a big hike and anything will suffice. Next time I'd just go to the market, buy some beer a bottle of wine and make a charcuterie board.
