The sandwiches here are so good. The Boars Head meat and cheese really does make a better sandwich than the typical Dietz and Watson. They slice the meat and cheese to order using very thin slices. I can't really explain why the sandwich is so good, but I crave it daily. Unfortunately, it's not open on Sundays. Not sure that is the best business idea, but what do I know. The market has anything you might need and a nice little refrigerated cheese case. Check this place out the morning after a night out and you won't regret it. The sandwiches are pretty cheap too!

I am filing a complaint against the cashier--a young black woman with long hair who treated me rudely, resulting in a terrible shopping experience. Here is what happened: When I was paying by credit card, the first attempt was declined, but the second went through. I just said, "Approved." The cashier rudely shouted at me, "I heard!" Instead of processing the transaction immediately, she made me wait and wait, while she chatted with a young girl behind me in line. After I said, "Bad attitude," she shouted, "FUCK YOU!" I answer her, "FUCK YOU! I will complain about you!" She then grabbed my receipt and refused to hand it over; I had to demand its return before she finally gave it to me. She was extremely rude, mean and unfriendly toward Asian customers, discriminated against Asian female customers, she also processed transactions very slowly, keeping customers waiting. I hope Giant takes this matter seriously. We are members and loyal customers who have shopped there weekly since the store opened, yet this is the first time I have ever been treated so rudely.

Another reviewer mentioned and it is correct to save your receipt and scan it to get free parking otherwise my hour and a half visit would have run me 24.00 The store is clean. The layout easy to navigate. Pricing is more than fair. I got an amazing deal on seafood. Crab legs 11.99 lb, colossal tiger shrimp 9.99 for a bag of 12. Very nice. Guys at the deli counter were super friendly. Last note, I would avoid like the plague around 3:00 pm. I knew it was a mistake when I'd done it but my shopping companion who's a non driver was having a fit. Way too many schools in the area means massive throngs of children and traffic bottlenecks. Open until 10 pm so go early or after the kids have gone home.

Of course, you can expect to maybe wait a bit during peak hours (before work, right after work), but they usually have someone stationed at the front of the lot to only let you in once there's a space available. A nice courtesy! Inside this location is kept stocked, organized, and clean. I think the only time I was not able to find something was when roads froze over and caused for one of their morning shipments to get canceled. External factors aside, you should be able to find anything you're looking for here in stock. The lines can definitely wrap around the store during peak shopping times, but the system they have to push people through the checkouts proceeds as fast as I could imagine. They've got a well-oiled machine here, and just have that many customers. Finally, just one anecdote. One time my wife was shopping here last minute for flowers after a friend's pet died. Since she was running late, she asked the person directly cashier traffic if she could cut the line and checkout with just her flowers. The person proceeded to ask for the flowers, cut off the tag, and let her go without purchase. Amazing service is just the norm here!

Here we go....This market has everything thing you need starting outside on both sides of the building to deep inside. There are so many things best purchased in China Town such as fruits and vegetables. Because of the parking situation in this area I keep my time limited to 1 hour. So half hour to 'look'', shop and 15-20 in line to pay. Actually the lines move fairly quickly. While shopping for fruit and vegetables things I'm unfamiliar with I make Google my friend! Shopping here is a fast paced, organized chaos, extremely fascinating whirlwind experience. Now it's not clean like a large retail grocer but I can work with it. Im giving dragon fruit a try this week, next week it will be the yellow 'Korean' melon as it was listed. It's really a crazy pace but worth a try since Chinatown has so much to offer. This place is reminiscent of China meets New York City both places a must visit location!

I chose an eggplant sandwich, which was thinly sliced, breaded, and fried, with mozzarella, and artichokes. The sandwich itself was so filling. The chips and pickle were an added bonus. They heated it for us before we went upstairs to eat. There's a quieter section with more ambiance upstairs, so we enjoyed the ac while we ate.
