Stopped at Trader Joe's to get the ingredients for the lobster pasta that has been on social media. When you drive up to the store there is a pull up line and a security guard that directs the cars to a parking spot. The store was busy and I found myself having to wait for others to pass by before I could get to the item that I needed to grab. There is one line for check out and then someone directs you to the open check out counter.

Trader Joe's has earned its brand equity as a quality grocery store that differentiates itself from others in the marketplace. The store sizes aren't overbearing, the products that are store branded are high-quality, and the service is exceptional. The store has such a phenomenal reputation, that it's difficult to decipher when you can shop without a long line to check out. Luckily, they are very well staffed and organized, and lines move quickly. Weekdays before 3:30pm are the best days to go, although, I have arrived shortly after they've opened and by the time I checked out, there was a wait, but only under 20 deep. On a Saturday or Sunday morning, even if you arrive within a half-hour of opening, there's a line of cars waiting to get into the parking lot! Some items are priced well and very reasonable, while others rise near the level of Whole Foods (aka Whole Paycheck). But, the number of people on staff is much more effective at Trader Joe's. If you have food allergies, just head to the customer service desk behind the registers to check out, and they have a preprinted list, several pages long, of most items in the store, with indications of which are safe for those who are gluten intolerant, vegans, etc. Employees are very helpful, the store is always clean, and at all times they are constantly restocking shelves with everything they have in stock. From produce, to cheese, meats and fish, fresh flowers, snacks, beverages, spices, dairy, paper, and pet products, Trader Joe's has you covered. With at least 12-20 registers going at any time, it's well worth the short wait. They offer free parking within 50 feet of the entrance. Convenience and quality makes Trader Joe's a great place to shop.

I love TJs I shop at least twice a month and I find everything I need. I prefer this organic store over others because of the quality and prices. I'll admit I've only been here once but I immediately liked it. It's super clean with hand sanitizer everywhere but it's a small space. They have everything the larger TJs has but fewer items since it's smaller. I called ahead for a specific item and was told to wait outside and yes I received curb side service. I had to go inside to pay and the young lady doing cue. Side delivery told me to go inside. I paid and was I'm out quickly. I definitely would return if I'm in the area and so should you.

Having Trader Joe's right in the heart of Philly I think is an amazing idea. Even New Jersey does not have many Traders around. When I visited my friend in Philly and saw the store available just 2 blocks away I could not believe my eyes. Whoever came with the location was definitely very creative. The entrance is in the back of the street with an accessible handicapped ramp it. The store is clean with welcoming staff. Thank you for reading this and I hope you find this helpful.

We got this lettuce bag yesterday which was supposed to be triple washed as marked. We found a dead insect inside the bag as shown in attached picture This is very disappointing and I am very concerned to buy again from trader joes

We had a great experience at this Trader Joe's. The workers here were so friendly and helpful, and considering we probably came soon after the post-work rush, the shelves were more well-stocked than I was expecting. The only thing we didn't particularly like about this TJ's was that the entrance was in the back of the building. Convenient from the parking lot, but not obvious to pedestrians expecting to find the entrance right off the sidewalk. Once we were inside though, the experience was wonderful!

    Fresh Flowers from Trader Joe's

I love Trader Joe's, especially because you can purchase fresh flowers for the lowest prices I have ever seen in my life. And by the way, I mean it when I say fresh - their flowers last me at least two full weeks so long as I remember to routinely change the water. The only downside of this place is that most times of the day when you walk in you are instantly overwhelmed by the mere sight of the check out line which always begins at the produce section. That said, the staff are incredible at moving the lines as efficiently as possible. I would hate on the people who shop while in line but the truth is that they are geniuses.

Regardless, I braved the rain and walked a few blocks up to TJs at 11AM on a Saturday expecting the worst.

I was initially perturbed at the sight of the dry rub, but after demolishing this entire thing, I began to question the rest of the country. Why isn't a dry rub more popular on a rotisserie chicken? It really works. It cost $12.99 and it ended up landing at 9/10, which currently ranks it 8th out of 76 grocery store birds I've tried. An ELITE bird. Don't get me wrong, I love Giant, but this is not Giant. They get three stars from me because the store is very nice and has the perfect selection if you are looking to impress your grad school friends with a "fancy" wine and cheese night. They also participate in Sushi Wednesday (which is almost worth 4 stars on its own). The big Giant in Fitler Square was flooded out so I decided to make the trek to this location on a Wednesday just for Sushi. It seemed very popular. There was a line for self-checkout (the only checkout I saw) and it was hard to move down the aisles because it was so crowded. They have a MASSIVE beer and wine selection. I imagine this is the best place to find that particular IPA or Cote du Rhone your girlfriend wants. Check this place out but be prepared for them not to have what you want, at least not the right brand. I will say the produce selection was big and seemed fresh. PRO: SUSHI WEDNESDAY
