The efficiency had a full kitchen. It was great to make dinner on site and watch the sunset. We used the charcoal grills ( bring your own charcoal). The grill are very clean. All the tables and chairs are very clean. There is no maid service during your stay. Our room and a queen size Murphy' bed, futon, recliner, side chair, & dining table with four chairs. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, silverware, toaster, crockpot, soaps, & sponge. The kitchen has a microwave, oven, stove and fridge. The staff is very friendly. There is free parking. You can rent a stand up paddle board from the hotel for $25/day. This hotel is casual and very clean. The staff keeps it in great condition. I would not hesitate staying here again.

Had we been, I would never even considered this property. Not one of us is over 120 lbs, i actually dislocated my upper rib & we are all covered in bruises from that ridiculous experience. My best friend pulled her right shoulder, we have driven boats before yet have never been asked to push or pull one lol. This was not a normal situation we were tossed into at all. Then to find out it was way more than occasionally we'd need to do this, as the pre papers said (that came only 5 days before check in), it was every single time we needed to leave. The back "deeper" dock wasn't even there for 3 days, it was GONE, Not just under construction as we were told on our way to pick up the boat to head over lol. That front dock is inadequate for the way those channels have shifted and every other dock over there is so much longer... I'm sure because they need to be so someone doesn't get hurt pushing a 22' pontoon boat! Private beach - is not at all as pictured. It's full of old palms & a mess. Dirty just like the inside of the house. If you advertise a beautiful beach, there should be one. Dilapidated & unkempt palm trees everywhere. I know i have them all over my yard except we have them trimmed regularly as you should. Our view has dangling brown branches & they were falling all over the deck. Wheelbarrow full of old water & a chainsaw - it's a shame at what shape this place is left in. Needed vacuum & mop immediately bc it was filthy - whole pieces of bacon & open bags of cookies were left behind on the floors so when we moved the couch a bit it was disgusting. - You absolutely did send them to us immediately & we definitely used. Old food & rotten ice cream left in downstairs fridge, so my mother & 80 year old aunt cleaned it out for you as she couldn't stand it being in there smelling up her food. Lol Water dumping from air vent in the downstairs master. The vent is covered in black & yellow substances. It reeks of mold in there. My mother has CPOD & after 3rd night finally realized she's having breathing attacks because of the air in there. She moved to the trundle upstairs but my aunt Donna had nowhere else to go so she eventually ended up in our closet upstairs on a mattress. We did notify Michale about the issue with the vents when he was there but he basically said someone would have to check it out. Which meant nothing lol. This same moldy Oder was in the main house most of the time so we needed to keep the doors open. Under the kitchen sink was also leaking & had a pile of rags stuffed under it... that had turned rancid & molded. We didn't see it till we were going nuts finally cleaning everything bc it was just so much at that point. As we had no reason to be under that sink till the garbage disposal stopped working. Hot water was insufficient - this property says accommodated 15. We couldn't fill the bathtub completely without the water turning cold. Yes, George absolutely fixed this when he came out the next day. Pool touch screen wasn't working Sonos never worked - we told Michael when he was out and he basically tried to connect to it and said it just doesn't work sometimes when he couldn't get it to work. No pool table - it just doesn't exist lol Broken dryer downstairs plus Broken washer & dryer upstairs - we didn't know until we went to do laundry because we didn't want to take the little bugs home in our laundry. Last night - no we did not opt to stay in another one of your air bnbs lol. After our experience we were in we chose to vacate & pay for a hotel. Where we could get served & everything worked!

If you are ever wanting to go to Indian Rocks beach in Northern Florida, Tommy's is the place to stay at while you visit. There is a little town close by where you can bar hop and check out some restaurants as well if you are trying to go out. If you'd like to bbq some food, you can also go to a grocery close by and grab some stuff to grill since Tommy's also has a bbq behind the pool area.

The fun and cute backyard was perfect for our family to enjoy a beachside fire, twinkle lights, shuffleboard, lawn games, kayak, paddleboards etc. It was fully stocked with everything you'd ever want for the beach - beach bag, umbrellas, chairs, toys, fishing poles, nets, floats etc. The free on site laundry and laundry supplies was such a generous offering. The cottage was clean, well kept, fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials and then some extra. We brought our Shiba Inu and he loved being able to watch out the back glass to see us at the beach! The back deck and views are magnificent. Our beds were clean and comfy. The shower had perfect water pressure for thick haired families like ours. The French bakery in front had the most delicious pastries and quiche offerings. We absolutely loved Tommy's on the Beach and can't wait to return very soon.

The tub is a step up into tub with steep sides and slippery. We'd like to see the owners redo the tub/shower into an easy to step into shower stall with sliding glass doors. In our mid-70's the current tub is a problem for us to get in & out of. We still love this resort & especially this particular bungalow. We're coming back soon!

As others have noted in their reviews, Ken and Jeff are constantly working to keep up this lovely family resort. It is clean and landscaped beautifully, and the rooms are just right! With a sitting area in our two bedroom, we enjoyed the recliner and couch as we watched movies in the evening. In our full kitchen, we stocked the refrigerator from the local Publix and made our breakfast and lunch, which we packed for the beach. Many guests chose to grill out as we saw when we would load up to go to a local restaurant for dinner, but we preferred eating out! On our first night at Hurricane Hanks restaurant down the road, we met up with a resident who offered us more ideas for restaurants for dinner. There's nothing like walking right out onto the beach to spend a morning watching the waves, seeing dolphins frolic, observing osprey catching their breakfast, and swimming in the water among schools of fish. Many of the guests knew each other from yearly vacations, and we have already made our reservation for next year! Anna Maria Island is quiet and family friendly. White Sands Resort offers shuffleboard and corn hole right next to the pool, but the best show is the sunset. On our first night, we were surprised to see how many lined the beach to see God's beauty, of course clapping at the end! Thank you to Ken, Jeff, Joy, and Esther for a wonderful stay. We've been coming to Ana Maria Island for 30 years always renting a different place every time…read moreanyway we stumbled upon White Sands Beach resort maybe two years ago and it was absolutely spectacular the rooms are just perfect the bedding is comfortable the white sand is blinding and the color of the water is absolutely spectacular. Most of the folks that go here come back year after year and I understand why. Nothing like a family owned business they were card and it shows. I will be back.
