We had the carriage house which is a small studio and beautiful just for two people for a few days. Since It was Halloween weekend, they left us a little bucket with Halloween candy and two T-shirts which I thought was a really nice touch. I highly recommend Sarah's Seaside. I spoke to Janet when making my reservation, she was wonderful and very helpful. They have lounge chairs on the beach with the great pillows, cabana (no charge) bikes if you want to ride also free, a washer and dryer if you want to wash your clothes, and yup free. Everyone is very accommodating. Staff a wonderful, Janet my contact at the resort cane by and introduced herself, showed us around. Overall a wonderful experience.

Sarah's seaside is a great vacation location. Steps from the beach, where padded lounge chairs and…read morecabana are supplied. Kayaks/bikes and beach toys are also available for use. The grounds at Sarah's are beautiful, well kept and the foliage makes you feel like you are in the tropics, so many different palm tress, banana trees (that have bananas growing). Many different flowering plants. Pool that is shared within this small complex is very welcoming and relaxing. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable, well decorated and all the supplies for cooking your own meals if you want. Pam and I stayed in the Carriage House while my 2 sons and family with 3 children stayed in the Governors Main where the porch is shaded with great view of the beautiful sunsets. Great place for family vacation or reunion. Owners and staff and very nice, welcoming and available for any special needs. They will make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the vacation that will be in our memories for years to come.

During our recent tour through Central Florida, we booked some time in a villa at this little…read morebeachside community. Since each unit is different, and some are guest houses while others are home to full-time residents, I will not go into extreme detail on the particular pros and cons of the villa itself. I will state the villa we stayed in was beachside to the Gulf, well decorated in bright, tropical colors, and gave us much needed access to a full-size furnished kitchen. The cons included extremely uncomfortable beds, very rusty beach-going items, and the need to purchase our own toilet paper, paper towels, ice, and laundry detergent. Booooo. These villas are nestled in a mostly residential area of Indian Rocks Beach. It is approximately eight miles south from all the hustle and bustle of the now infamous Clearwater Beach. (The speed limits on the main road leading into CWB is tortourous, by the way.) However, a few restaurants and shops are dotted throughout the neighborhood. Plus, the city of Largo is just a few blocks away where you can find chain grocery and drug stores. There aren't many villas in this community, which instantly makes it feel cozy. Each villa has two, covered parking spaces and a storage unit. Upon entering from the ground floor into the foyer, ascend two flights of stairs to the first full bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, and balcony. Continue on up two more flights of stairs to the loft, laundry area, two bedrooms, and another full bath. Additionally, the villa boasted plenty of storage with closets everywhere, and lots of windows. The balcony offered up spectacular views of the Gulf, and our bedroom windows allowed us to be lulled to sleep by listening to the waves crash onto the shore. From anywhere in this community, the beach is literally steps away. The community also has a sand shower, right next to the beach access steps, to prevent tracking sand into places you don't want it to go. The pool on site is quite small, but certainly sufficient with tables and lounge chairs. There's even a recycling area on site, which you know this chick was thrilled about. Ultimately, if the beds were replaced, we'd gladly stay here again. TIP: Take your flashlight and a buddy for a late night walk on the beach. It's super dark out at IRB without moonlight, and can be quite dangerous if you lose your bearings.
