This is an RV owners nightmare. We moved in August this last year 2025. The first thing that happened was immediately upon plugging into their electrical source things started blowing in our RV our air conditioner went out our refrigerator went out multiple Outlets were blowing we had no idea what was going on and thought that it was something electrically with our RV but upon plugging in a surge protector and after $3,000 worth of reviews we discovered that their electrical source was miswired see the photo below it had what's called reverse polarity. We notified the manager of this situation but by then had thousands of dollars worth of damage to our coach it took them over 2 months to repair the situation and weekly complaints. My wife had just started a new job in the area and although we really liked the trees in the space the damage to our coach was now substantial and was going to cost us a lot to repair. It was at this time that we discovered that the management here was very uncaring and unconcerned about the damage to our coach caused by their faulty electrical wiring so we posted our first negative review and then the managers began to retaliate against us. We discovered that the the managers have had these electrical problems for a long time and that many of the residents here have had damages to their coaches as well some of them have had so much damage in fact that they can't afford to move many of them are elderly and they don't have the means to move or their trailers are too old to get into a nicer Park so Palm View RV park is run by slumlords and owned by Anthony Delcao and he is a horrible human being. Manager's names are Teresa Porter and Keith Porter and they are drug addicted slumlords that bully tenants don't furnish you with legal leases have unsafe electrical supplies and basically are cheating these poor people out of their money running a trashy little RV Park stay away from this park it's dangerous to hook up here and if you pull up and hook up you might not ever leave. read more

I stayed there in a tent and it was a wonderful experience. They had bathrooms and showers that were available 24/7 which was very nice. They had a very clean pool that was available to swim in and it was so refreshing. The managers were very professional and courteous! I would definitely stay there again when I come to California!! The park is very simple, with limited services for the price it is a bit expensive. It is not quiet as many reviews say, dogs run loose in the park without owner's supervision. There isn't much to do but to stay inside your RV. I noticed some of the good reviews were made by the owners, people who work here, family and owner's friends. It was much less than what I was expecting. Also, keep in mind that you have to pay fees on top of rent payment. Fees like for using their bathrooms or the pool. The road is narrowed, there is only room for one vehicle and there is not much light at night. I recommend everyone to come and drive through the park at different times before renting here. No wifi, no cable, and phone service did not work here. read more

Last minute camping trip and we were not disappointed. Theresa, I'm guessing she manages the property is awesome and so accommodating, she let us stay a little after checkout so that my son could enjoy the pool a little longer. Someone Yelp that is difficult to get here due to the roads, not true. There is an Unpaved small road to get to the campground but is right when you turn to the road where it's situated. I loved how the camping sites were right next to the pool. Everything was very clean from pool to entire campground. They have a small store, just incase you forgot to bring the necessities. You gotta check out the super cute area they created up on the hill. It it's kinda like a meditating area with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery, oh and the animals they got up there too i.e ducks, doves and tortoise. Ah and the goats you won't miss the goats, super cute too. read more

Just wrapping up my second camping trip at palm view rv park. Each time I've come, the staff have been very accommodating. Office closes at five, however they post a phone number in case of emergency. Shamelessly, I called and asked if they could accept one more person for the night and they promptly sent someone down. They've got three or four camp sites which run 30 per night. While it's a little more expensive than your traditional site, it makes up for it in location and staff. They have a fire pit, bbq stands, porta potty and even a swimming pool. Both times I've come, I've been the only camper which makes this place more desirable (to me anyway). They have a lot of birds that frequent the property, so you're sure to wake up in a peaceful environment. Both times I've come, staff have generously brought down a plate of food at dinner time. Shocking because they were different people each time.. overall a great vibe. Will definitely be back! read more

I went to the Palm View RV park and campgrounds a couple months ago with my 2 service dogs with the intentiions of renting a campsite for a week, setting up a tent and enjoy the outdoors for week. When Mr Douglas Campbell, manager/owner showed up after making us wait 2 hrs while ran errands he quickly informed me that me and my dogs were not welcome there. His reason was that my service dogs were to big to be service dogs and over the size limit he allows in the RV park. My dogs sat in the car this entire time waiting patiently. Mr Campbell refused to hear of the extensive training my dogs have underwent to become Service dogs. I am 66 yrs old, disabled and US Army Vet. but yet Mr Campbell saw fit to violate my civil rights in denying me and my service dogs access to the campsite at Palm View RV park and campgrounds. He seems to think he's above following the ADA accommodations for the disabled and those with service dogs. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I say stay far away. I hereby demand that Mr Douglas Campbell make payment to me in the amount of $5000 for violating my Civil Rights. If this demand is not satisfied I fully intend to take further legal actions. read more

I would make this a 5 star but as they are still under construction for parts of the park i will wait until we go again next year & update then.. i wasnt sure it was fair to readers to 5 star it when not yet finished... that said i Enjoyed this little hidden gem. according to owner there are 40 spaces & ten tent sites.. (now i have to admit i dont remember if he said the 10 were in addition to or included in that 40 number, sorry am having a brain fart on that one) = the park itself is approx 10 acres of mostly fenced campground and there is a game trail at the back of the property. the owner says he hopes to have cameras set up on the trail & eventually have live cams on their upcoming website.. that will be fun to see.. now mind you WE wanted a quiet relaxing place to stay (we were re-enacting in 90F heat this weekend so having a site we could come back to and relax was Important!) even saturday nite wasnt party city. for us that was a blessing. but if thats what you are looking for you might want elsewhere. the very good: the Owner was warm welcoming and obviously Very proud of how he has taken a very run down facility & is bringing it back to a quality campground. he has done a great deal in the last 3 yrs from his descriptions (while having small children in the home to complicate life :) !!!) the pool is large & inviting. nicely done.. it looks like they are working on a playground but that is not yet finished. bathrooms were clean and well appointed tho parts were still being renovated. they are well lighted & while not huge the main building had multiple toilets/showers that look to be finished soon.. that shower was MUCH appreciated! we had full hookups & he was able to give us a pull thru spot tho most look to be the back in kind.. due to the VERY rocky terrain, the park is in levels - we were in the lower level near the main baths and the pool with about 26 sites - the two upper levels contain the rest. we didnt go up to explore tho. (too tired) the ok -- some things to be aware of (tho we didnt consider them negative, some might) the turn off road (River Rd) from Hwy 74 is not at a light and can easily be missed.. there IS a sign on the road indicating the RV park but you need to be aware its Dark out there at night. for me driving that would be issue - my husband had no problem.. its a 2 lane rd & a bit twisty but not difficult. the one thing we did NOT care for was the turn at the park entrance -it (the entrance) is on the left & there are Multiple signs to mark where to go - but it is at the start of a blind turn to the right.. its very difficult to see oncoming vehicles until you are actually in their way going into the park.. nothing one can do about it as its the public road. just be aware. - the road in the park itself is dirt/gravel and a bit up & down & twisty.. just follow the signs.. you actually pass the lower camp sites to go up to the check in office/mini store.. you Usually have to call the owner for them to come down to the office as he is working all over the property. he came very quickly when we got there. he also noted they are adding more lights and security cameras all over the park as he wants his guests to feel secure and worry free.. he seems very sincere... its rather obvious that there is construction going on all over the park (supply piles and equipment but i didnt find that off putting it just is what it is.. a sign of work being done.. the Area is covered in monadnock boulders (pronunciation: /mnædnk/) [is an isolated rock hill, knob, ridge, or small mountain that rises abruptly from a gently sloping or virtually level surrounding plain] all over the place so there are no straight lines anywhere.. but it does make it very Interesting and full of native to the area flora & fauna---- i even heard the resident owls he told us about and other birds everywhere.. and of course one apparently can access or at least see the game trail.. you will have to get more info on that from the owners... over all the place is delightful, peaceful as well as VERY reasonable costs & we look forward to returning read more

We took our family boating at Lake Parris and the camping area was booked for a music venue. We found Palm View campground so we can go back boating in the morning what a cool place. Was different driving in thought we were lost then you find this very well maintained campground. The owners were very nice showed us around and let us store our boat. We would give 10 stars for tent family camping with animals, pool, cooking out doors and just a great experience that our kids said they liked it better than camping at Parris. I want to tell you this is a great RV Park, there is church on Sunday with free breakfast and extra food to take home. They do a free pot luck and give away food to any and all monthly. It is a safe place and very kid orientated. Highly recommended for nice get away! read more

We spent three weeks at this "resort" over the Christmas holidays Pros: *the staff was friendly and accommodating *it was peaceful and quiet *there is a pool, some sheep and goats and a "meditation garden." *Sunday services and weekly bible study conducted on site by the owners. *the office serves as a store offering a few foods, condiments and ice cream Cons: *no bath room or shower for RVers *no cable TV and no TV reception (unless you have a TV service like Direct TV) *no WiFi or internet *no hot tub *no real store or food service *state of neglect and general disrepair (example: the last bench in the "meditation garden" is detached from its base and hazardous to anyone attempting to sit on it) So if your idea of a resort is peace and quiet, religious services, bible study and sheep and goats in a relaxed environment this may be your place. If on the other hand if "resort" implies wifi, cable, bathrooms, showers, hot tub, store or some form of food service and safe seating this may not be. read more

Roads are dangerous and you have to go a long way to get to the park. There's only one way and we almost crash with a truck that was coming out of the park. Pictures are deceiving, I was very disappointed because this place looks completely different in person. People living there are intimidating. I dont recommend this place. read more

Palm View is more than an RV park, it's an amazing family community, Douglas and Monett are the most gracious owners, they are as they say "servants of the lord", everything they do revolves around improving an already beautiful park, helping the long term residents, the weekend campers, the resident animals and the surrounding communities in so many ways. They rely on the power of prayer with amazingly unbelievable results. Providing a church service and men's bible study with Pastor Douglas. A women's bible study with Monett weekly. Breakfasts, BBQs, pot lucks, dinners and monthly food/grocery items are brought in for park residents who are in need. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is being apart of a community like Palm View!! Even my family's short 3 week stay has been more than unforgettable. Making life long friends, gaining a much more positive outlook on life and believing anything is possible when you put your faith in God. read more

Place is quite, the grounds need to be maintained. The pool wasn't very clean, litter was scattered around and the dead rodents not being picked up. They do have a church on the premises for the residents, campers and visitors.
