Last minute camping trip and we were not disappointed. Theresa, I'm guessing she manages the property is awesome and so accommodating, she let us stay a little after checkout so that my son could enjoy the pool a little longer. Someone Yelp that is difficult to get here due to the roads, not true. There is an Unpaved small road to get to the campground but is right when you turn to the road where it's situated. I loved how the camping sites were right next to the pool. Everything was very clean from pool to entire campground. They have a small store, just incase you forgot to bring the necessities. You gotta check out the super cute area they created up on the hill. It it's kinda like a meditating area with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery, oh and the animals they got up there too i.e ducks, doves and tortoise. Ah and the goats you won't miss the goats, super cute too.

I went to the Palm View RV park and campgrounds a couple months ago with my 2 service dogs with the intentiions of renting a campsite for a week, setting up a tent and enjoy the outdoors for week. When Mr Douglas Campbell, manager/owner showed up after making us wait 2 hrs while ran errands he quickly informed me that me and my dogs were not welcome there. His reason was that my service dogs were to big to be service dogs and over the size limit he allows in the RV park. My dogs sat in the car this entire time waiting patiently. Mr Campbell refused to hear of the extensive training my dogs have underwent to become Service dogs. I am 66 yrs old, disabled and US Army Vet. but yet Mr Campbell saw fit to violate my civil rights in denying me and my service dogs access to the campsite at Palm View RV park and campgrounds. He seems to think he's above following the ADA accommodations for the disabled and those with service dogs. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I say stay far away. I hereby demand that Mr Douglas Campbell make payment to me in the amount of $5000 for violating my Civil Rights. If this demand is not satisfied I fully intend to take further legal actions.

We stayed here a couple of months ago and let me be the first to tell you that we simply can't say…read moreenough good things about this place and the staff. As with most great companies, it all starts with ownership. So let's meet Todd & Jen, the owners of Rec-Out SoCal, but don't tell them I told you. If you choose to stay here, you'll almost surely meet them and not even know that you're actually dealing with the owners. In regards to the daily operations of this location, they are extremely hands on, and without question, two of the most humble and hospitable people you will ever meet. We refer to them as T.J. because to us, it's evident that they are unified and clearly dedicated to doing whatever's necessary to making your experience a pleasurable one. I've read a review on here where someone had a bad customer service experience at this location. It was quite the opposite for us! I'm not minimizing the interpretation of one's own personal experience but I'll say this. Glamping (glamourous camping) here at Lake Perris Recreation Area is an outdoor adventure, not a Las Vegas luxury resort hotel experience, though it can be much more enjoyable. It really comes down to having realistic expectations and having respect and admiration for the beautiful outdoor environment. As far as we're concerned, we were completely blown away by Rec-Out SoCal's Glamping experience. You'll begin by renting one of the modern, fully-equipped trailers. There are upgrades for your stay such as a charcoal grille or a griddle for cooking meals outdoors, if you don't wish to cook on the stove inside your trailer. There are many other amenities included in the trailer and you'll even have your own private outdoor area with picnic bench, lighted gazebo, hammock, fire pit with camping chairs, an assortment of outdoor games, and a breathtaking, picturesque view of the lake. You'll be briefed on all of these things during the check-in period. I will always recommend this glamping site to anyone who is looking to enjoy the great outdoors, while still having access to modern household amenities. Briefly put, this is where the rugged outdoors and the breathtaking beauty of nature meets unparalleled comfort and convenience. Pair this, along with having the most pleasant, helpful, and courteous staff you can imagine, and you have the formula for one of the greatest outdoor experiences of a lifetime. But this is only where things begin to take shape, as you literally get to tailor your experience to your personal desires. Available for rent, and for very reasonable prices are watercrafts, such as fishing & pontoon boats to potentially steer you to your next trophy bass catch or to cruise the lake and simply enjoy the incredible surrounding views. There are also E-bikes available for rent so you can take a nice, peaceful ride around the entire lake if you choose (roughly a 9 mile loop) or just cruise around the many beach areas, shoreline fishing spots, or many other locations at this amazing site. There's so many good things to be said about this place, the owners, and staff. We'll be heading back just as soon as time allows, as we are very much looking forward to our next glamping experience with Rec-Out SoCal at Lake Perris Recreational Area. See you guys soon!

I would not recommend staying at the glamping sites at Rec-Out SoCal. We stayed for two nights,…read morecheck in was supposed to be at 3:00 p.m Friday but the manager/owner took quite a while because she was helping other guest then proceeded to give us an orientation of RV which took an extra hour. If this is the case they need to make check in time sooner, by the time we were done it was about 4pm. We even left early Sunday because we were so disappointed with our stay. The customer service was extremely poor. No one ever checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was okay or if we needed anything. We had to go out of our way just to ask for basic necessities like toilet paper, which should have already been stocked or at least monitored. Online it states that 1 RV is equipped "enough" for up to 8 people, that was not the case. In the RV we rented it was 4 adults and 2 kids, and even then after taking the 3 minute showers that they recommended we were still short on water. The accommodations looked nothing like the videos and pictures they advertise online. The online photos make the glamping sites look clean, spacious, and well-maintained, but the reality was very different. The trailer and surrounding area were dirty, covered in spider webs, even smelled like sewer our entire stay. We even found used coffee grounds from the previous people in the coffee machine. It definitely did not feel clean or properly prepared for guests. Several of the appliances either didn't work properly or were unreliable, making the stay even more frustrating. Fridges inside RV and mini fridge outside weren't cooling enough, lights outside were not working. We also felt very limited when it came to water usage, which wasn't made clear beforehand and made the experience inconvenient. When told to manager/owner all they said was " other places only give you 30 something gallons" One of the biggest disappointments was the complete lack of privacy. People constantly walked through the glamping area, and many even stepped over the ropes that are supposed to separate the campsites just to get to the marina. It felt like there was no respect for guests' space, and management didn't seem to enforce the boundaries at all. For the price, we expected a much better experience. Instead, we felt like we spent the weekend dealing with inconveniences rather than relaxing. The property has potential because the location is beautiful, but it seems poorly maintained and customer service is lacking. Don't let the photos and promotional videos fool you, they set expectations that the actual experience doesn't meet. We left early because we simply didn't enjoy our stay. Save yourself the money and choose another campground or glamping destination. There are much better places where you'll get cleaner accommodations, better service, and far more value for your money. We definitely won't be returning

It was a bit crowded at our campsite, which is to be expected in the summer. The lake itself was fine, but the bathrooms and showers need some attention because most of them were not working. I don't remember the trash policy for campers, but we saw many people leaving all of their trash bags at their campsite when they went home. There were homeless people walking onto campsites to ask for money. Several campers had their cars broken into overnight as well. It seems like this campsite isn't well maintained and the experience left a lot to be desired.

We have loved and utilized our annual membership up until staying here. This place is a disgrace and I strongly urge anyone wanting to visit to stay elsewhere. Unfortunately the people who run this location are unprofessional, sloppy, disorderly and do not know how to properly run a camp site. We stayed here earlier this month and no one was at the front office and we never received an email that had a spot number. We called and text the ranger several times and never received a response. After a long drive with 3 kids we just parked in the first spot we saw available assuming it was first come first serve since we never were given an assigned spot. The second day a ranger comes up to us later in the day after we were all unpacked and settled and told us we had to move, to an entirely different park! They were so rude and we let them know absolutely not, we were not moving because of their mess up. The lady took it real personal and made it her vendetta to somehow make us pay for her mistake?? She started threatening us and telling us she would have us suspended from thousand trails which we didn't care because this was our last trip on our membership that expired the following week and after this experience we definitely didn't want to renew. But then we got a letter saying we owed a fee for a late check out when we left at 10am!!! What a scam. This lady is absolutely insane that it's laughable. I truly cannot believe thousand trails has someone like that being the face of that campground.

I later received a response claiming I had spoken with the manager "several times," which is completely inaccurate. The explanation for delayed response was that they were handling a high volume of inquiries and prioritize current tenants and applicants. While that may be true internally, from a customer perspective, the only thing visible is the lack of response and the tone of communication which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I was also told that I wasn't technically a "customer," implying that this level of service was acceptable. How businesses treat prospective customers says everything about their standards.
