Geraldo and Tom came to our house spent hours putting this beautiful new Karastan carpet down. The carpet is beautiful. The pricing is fair. The workmanship is spectacular. The quality of the end product would rate about a 1 1/2 star but getting to the end product would rate a zero star. From Hanover we got a closet floor installation and bathroom remodel (turning a bathtub into a walk in shower). The communication with the company was horrendous. We never knew when a tech or contractor was coming and sometimes the notice that someone was coming would come the night before they came. We would go days without hearing anything and most times would not get our messages answered. This project was started mid-May and was completed in July after several reworking the grouting and disagreements on the construction flaws. Not even mentioning the pipe in the floor that they cracked and had to replace. The only time you will get on-time communication from them is when it is time to pay. If you have a discrepancy it will be addressed either days after your notifying them of the discrepancy or not at all. You will be highly disappointed if you go into business with Hanover. I really wish I could give them lower than a 1 star because they don't deserve a 1 star.

Though not an option, zero stars apply here! Walk into the…read moreplace and you know something's "off." No customers except for one (across three separate visits). Decor right out of the 90s. And a miserably limited selection. One salesperson. We had been searching for a Nectar Premier mattress online but really wanted to try one out in person. Unfortunately, this store popped up on a search. They only had the base model which was Ok, but not firm enough. So we went ahead and ordered the premier model, as the salesperson Shawn said they could get it in a day or two. And thinking that if it didn't work out, we could just return it. We asked if the store handled a return the same way as Nectar would and were told yes, they had the guarantee as well. Nectar provides for a complete money-back, no-questions online return within 365 days if you're not satisfied. So we had no reason to doubt Shawn. The first warning sign we had was when he got all nervous and flustered that the store's price was incorrect online, so he'd be selling the mattress for $150 less. And then he tried to intimate that we'd come to the store because of the price difference, rather than the ability to take a "test drive." After a month or so we realized the mattress was not right for us and called the store to make a return. That was when we were shocked to hear that although we were told one thing verbally, we must've "misheard" and the only option is their so-called "comfort guarantee." You have 100 days to make a return for something of equal or lesser value. No money back. And delivery fees apply. That's provided you do not want a Serta which they have none of, or a Sealy which they have very few of. We felt incredibly misled and the only response from Shawn was a chuckle and a firm statement that their guarantee is "in the contract." Apparently our good faith conversation meant nothing. And he also told us that we could "go ahead and try" to reach to store owners, but it "doesn't matter" because "everything stops with me." He refused to provide even a name or number. And indeed, registered mail to the owners was completely ignored - no response. In a completely cagey manner, they had someone else first name-only sign for it. Or it was completely forged. We even offered to return the mattress plus "buy out" the contract at 20% of the cost. Shawn would not even take that to the owners. As a result, we moved the mattress to our guest room - where it wasn't needed at this time. And were forced to purchase a second mattress for our own use at another retailer. Had we done business with Nectar directly, we'd have received all our money back within 2 weeks and not had to make two costly purchases at one time, one of which was completely unnecessary. This was a horrible and very costly experience that anyone acting in good faith should not have to deal with. And it's a sad commentary on small business when in addition to a superior selection, we receive better treatment from a large retailer than a family-run business. Stay away if fairness and someone's word matters to you.

It's just a been a pricey and extremely disappointing experience all the way around. My daughter bought $400 sleeper sofa from Ashley furniture around the same time I bought this one and hers looks new still and is extremely comfortable and holds it shape. Typically I'm a "you get what you pay for" type of person and I'll happily pay more for good quality. Ethan Allen has not fit that criteria for us.

He finally agreed to come on 12/2/23, not only did he not show but he blocked my number so I would stop contacting him.
