We attend concerts here yearly, and always have a great time. We saw Babyface this past weekend and had the best time. The weather was perfect. He put on a fantastic show. As I have previously stated, I think the 3 drink maximum should be bumped to 4, and I think there should be large screens to better see the artists. Another great concert at Palmdale amphitheater! This time we saw TLC. To be honest, I probably knew one of their songs, but it was a great time. We didn't go VIP this time we just got lawn seats. It was perfect soon as the sun started to set. It was a beautiful night. Employees are so nice; everybody you come in contact with is polite and welcoming. I wish I could give more stars but they need to know a few things. I'll start with the positive... The parking is plentiful and close to the venue, not paved but it's flat and close and organized. Best you can ask for! Next comes the entry... I can say they are professional and the line was organized and the grounds were clean. It wasn't terrible but the part that starts getting me is the security guidelines and what's allowed and disallowed. They are STRICT. Lots of things not allowed and people having to run back to their cars for dumb things like a water bottle etc. If the issue is you want to funnel people into vendor purchases then OK we will address that next.... Now on to things that really are bad here. They have a strict policy against bringing anything in. This isn't a security issue as much as it is they want to control substances and even water and other things in low amounts too... It's forcing people to go to the vendor tent for anything like from water to beer or whatever. Now in my mind, with the amount of people, you should do the math on how long lines will be or anything else with vendor services before you make these stupid rules. I didn't bother myself but I noticed people in the beer line the whole show! It was absolutely ridiculous. I think that if they want people to get beer at their tent then they should be able to accommodate the amount of people in the venue? Is that too much to ask? I also noticed they did "last call" like halfway through the show? WTH is up with this place? I didn't bother having a beer but when your at a show and the artist is really telling everyone to tip their drink and 80% of us are in this draconian BS not able to even get a beer without sacrificing one of your party to the meat grinder line for beer then that's bad!!! I'll give a solid two stars to represent the parking and the sound system which is amazing. The tuning and acoustics were great! I'll also say the grass and area we were at was comfortable. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth not being able to at least enjoy it with one damn beer. Get it together Palmdale, you don't trust your citizens and it's embarrassing. read more

Recently had a wonderful time enjoying the Kaleidoscope festival (Fall Frenzy) this year in 2024. The event happens every year and not only are we blessed with this free event and free parking, but there are wonderful avenues of art showcased at this event!! I love to come here with my family every year (didn't get to last year) and this year has been very AMAZING!! The vendors are all very friendly and helpful, the staff put out great activities for families to do (live painting class, free bracelet making, photobooth fun) and there's amazing entertainment done by live singers or bands!! But back to the venue: this outdoor theatre is a great well-taken care of venue with a few bathroom buildings that have multiple clean stalls inside. Parking is on dirt if you don't make it in time to park at the concrete lot next door just as a fyi! Lots of great enjoyable community fun has happened here. Great sound quality, just remember to being your own personal blankets or chairs! Staff are quick in checking you in, no hassle to go inside. Food trucks are able to park inside and set up shop also. A gem of a spot for many outdoor events for the valley area. read more

We were here to see All 4 One last year and tonight we are seeing Brian McKnight. The crowd is awesome, sound quality is great from afar, weather in Palmdale is nice tonight. Just bring picnic gears. There's no food allowed but they allow it for the kids or medical reasons. Parking attendants point you in the right direction so there's little stress there. Love it here! read more

My family and I attended the Queen Nation concert last night. DO NOT bring your reusable water bottles because they won't let you in with them. You will have to walk your butt back to your car. A lady even said fine I can dump it out and they still said no you can't bring it in. Everything that you bring in should be sealed they said. I couldn't find anything on their website about not being able to bring reusable water bottles!! If they're going to be strict like this they need to make a note of these rules when buying tickets so people are aware. read more

Great Venue to chill and listen to great music. Bathrooms are clean. Plenty of ushers and security. Parking is free and plenty of it. Hope to return soon to more of what this venue has to offer. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. The staff at the Flo Rida event tonight was absolutely horrendous. Not helpful whatsoever. My wife and I decided to take advantage of their 2 for $20 concert tickets. Cool right? Wrong. First they don't specify you have to sit up on the hill, which isn't that big of a deal, but what WAS a big deal were these inconsiderate people who stood in that exact spot THE WHOLE CONCERT!!! Mind you, my wife and I got to the venue 2 hours before the show was scheduled to start. My wife flagged down one of the useless security guards and said that they were blocking our view, he simply told these lovely individuals to move, to which they replied "I don't really give a shit if they can see or not." After that was said to the security, he gave up and walked away. Really dude? What are you there for then? To collect a paycheck and that's it? Screw what you got hired for? Needless to say, we won't EVER go back to this terrible venue and give them our hard earned money. I'm sure nothing will be done about this either, but it makes me feel good to vent and let this out. If you like just music and not seeing the performer, THIS VENUE IS FOR YOU!! read more

I would give 5* but I didn't explore all of the venue or make any food or beverage purchases so can't rate such, but it's a beautiful venue, well situated, and very organized. Had decent and convenient restrooms. Enjoyed family and friends at the short but great Patti LaBelle concert on July 9th. Hope to catch more there. read more

Everything was great but minus a star for no soap in the bathroom because they ran out!! How does that even happen in a public facility?! And also the website and commercials announced that the movie night started at 6:30pm when in actuality it starts when it's completely dark around 8pm..so we arrived an hour and a half early and just laid on the grass because there wasn't much else to do. It would've been nice to have more food vendors other then kettle corn and Mexican snacks. Chairs are not provided so being your own! I wish they would've specified that as well. For first timers, I was smart enough to bring a blanket because I thought it would get chilly, but it ended up being sat on since we didn't have chairs. The cost is $2 for adults and free for kids. It got super windy at night so bundle up!! Also next time I know to come at 8pm.. read more

While I'm waiting in the THIRD line to get my beer, let me tell you about how coming to a concert here is NOT worth it unless ya tailgate! SO, you have to get in line to get a beer wristband then get in line for beer tickets THEN get in line for a beer. Oh and they cut off the wristband line at 8:30pm. because "people got belligerent last time"... and you pay $25 for a concert ticket (which by the way used to be free like over 5 years ago) sooooo plan strategically when you come to these rip off concerts that you waste more than half your time in line for beer- then are getting cut off by rent a cops. read more

This venue is great, and it's true on what they say "Any seat is a good seat" but yet they don't have any seats lol how ironic huh, anyways it's not far from home or LA. I went for a concert, and it was great the sounds of the speakers were great, the size as well. The only thing they need an upgrade on their technology. There concert lights are old style, and it would be great to have seats instead of bringing your own. I didn't like the fact that we were not allowed to get close to stage, when the stage is made of cement, so there really wasn't any way to damage it. But other then that it's a good place. read more

Beautiful venue, free parking and great family friendly entertainment. Events are safe, staff are friendly and the sunsets are spectacular.

Love this place. If they get a get band or performer you love,, it is perfect. You can get out of your HOT home and enjoy a summer evening. Where can you get tickets at such a low price? I paid $15 for a VIP! I know its a smaller than "Staples center" stage, but the entertainers make it work. Yes after a few years now, they could update sound and lights, but it's still works for the crowd. We all went home happy last night. Thanks Amphitheater!! a little upgrade on staging, but not take our prices up much would be ideal. read more
