If I had a choice I wouldn't even give this place 1 star after over a month of bickering with 21st getting approved then waiting on Beverly to send in final paper's and after signing purchase agreement she decided to opt of of selling us the home due to our 25yr old daughter leaving a negative review on their facebook page and not taking it down .Our daughter does not have an effect on our buying a home .Beverly has called our daughter a nasty little girl Lisa aka sister manager of Beverly made a thousand excuses for Beverly's behavior but then added she could of handled the situation better Lisa had brought her son who had committed suicide into the matter then blamed me her brother Tom that we have known for over 20yrs then again accused me of esculating the situation .Told the bbb that we are harrassing threatning and slandering a disabled person on social media Beverly ..and if we removed it she would sell us the home I rejected the offer posting experience on social is by no means harrassing threatning or slandering a disabled person ..We have been treated as if we have no money to purchase a home the home has been posted on facebook for sale while it had a sale pending Lisa had also told bbb that all homes are posted for sale until they recieve money not true on their website 3 other homes have sales pending that are not posted for sale on their facebook ..I have screenshot email's with proof my daughter has screenshot private message's between Lisa and herself along with private message's between Lisa and my husband in each she contradict's herself with lie's and rubbish this is no longer about a home or doing business which Lisa claims we haven't even done business with them yet to leave any kind of review guess we've been having play date's and yes there prob is someplace else we could go but not with the fiancing company the amount we were offered and we would have to go through the whole application with 21st all over again from every single one of our tax return pages for 2yrs my husbands last stub from previous employer his w-2 from previous employer hand written explanation with dates for his last yrs employment any explanation of 30day gap in his employment current stub from current employer employee verification form filled our from current employer a statement from new bank where I refinanced my truck with new payments statement from old truck company where truck was paid off and after youve done all that they still want more tell you its incomplete get ignored by Beverly when you visit Palmer's then they deny it by saying she was with a customer but she was no longer talking to the customer then she was nervous showing customer home for first time then shes supposed to wear a hearing aide but dont due to tumor then shes old enough to retire see the pattern all of which I have proof of being said I have they left their own reviews on facebook along with their children to get reviews up kinda like high fiving yourself or liking your own post ..I have spoke with a lawyer I can take them to court for the agreement if they don't comply I can sue which is exactly what we will be doing ...You can't just do this to people's live's and get away with it ..It is not okay ..So needless to say we won't be getting our home over a negative review that myself or my husband did not post pretty pathetic excuse a business seeking sympathy believing they have power and control in reality I could just as easily take them to court hold the accountable for the purchase agreement and if they did not comply sue them .Lisa had told my husband that she wouldn't do business atleast not this week due to it being her son's birthday week seem's as if noone want's to do business any day of any week just another excuse and to bring up something so harsh as that how dare her I had no idea her son took his own life she should be ashamed ..I could bring bring in all my ailment's my daughter was diadnosed with Chronic Myleiod Leukimia at the age of 9 she just stopped taking oral chemo meds she may never be able to have kids but this is and was a business transaction we aren't friends Lisa also states a business is built on trust you we broke that trust by going to social media we didnt go to social media until Beverly decided to tell my husband she is opting out of the deal over our daughter's review .A business is not built on trust you earn that trust you build that trust up I own a business myself if I trusted everyone who walked through my door I wouldnt be in business ..Also if I sold someone something through my auction but they didnt pay for it yet and their kid did something I didnt like so I tell them Im not going to sell you that at checkout because of what your kid did can you imagine what kind of backlash I would of recieved ? We moved in our home that was ordered from Palmer almost 2 years ago. It's taken lots of phone calls and still have not received the last bit of work!! Now, mind you, they didn't deliver the thresholds for the kitchen and front door. By the time we moved in and countless times of calling, the floor was discontinued. So, Zack (service guy) came at least 1/2 dozen times, would get one thing done and promise to finish!! Well now, still waiting for the front door threshold!!! Don't buy from these people!!! Only gave the 1 star, but I had too, but personal it deserved a negative "star" Worst experience! I am so disappointed and extremely frustrated. Bought a home from Palmer Homes (Eagle River) in Sept 2019, they delivered, many items broken, made a mess, and spit chew into the toilets. Took forever and many pictures emails and phone calls to get someone back out to fix the broken items. Had to hire a personal contractor to fix somethings, as we needed to move into the home. Less than 6 months of living the home, water issues, all throughout the house. Floors, sinks, walls, ceiling, popped drain lines. Multiple calls and emails, just to be transferred to someone else, finally got them to come out and looked around and said, "not the home" while I have water damage along the walls, carpet, my children had soaked bedding clothing and walls. Still here in 2022 and issue is not fixed, they wont return phone calls. Hired plumbers, contractors, engineers all out of my pocket and they all say the house has multiple issues. The roof, the windows, the siding, lack of vents, the list is endless. I was so excited when I first saw this home, we were forced to move as the water can not get figured out. Still nothing from Palmer Home or Eagle River. The worst service and lack of compassion for a family buying a brand new home from them. They request all the money before delivery the home, but drops the house and bails out. I see a home going down the road, I want to follow them and warn the next victims to not do it. It is not worth it. Mad frustrated disappointed sad are just some the emotions that is felt, during what is suppose to a happy exciting time. "Brand new" home just junk and falling apart. We thought going with a local business would be better and we could help the local economy. Well, they didn't know what the codes were for having a modular home built, they took forever to get the finishing done, and then after we finally got in, the washing machine leaked all over because they never attached the plumbing drain - it was just set together without any glue or screws. The electrical panel wasn't done correctly either - everytime I plug the vacuum cleaner into the wall in the dining or living room, it throws a breaker in the panel. This company is the worst you can get. I bought a home from them in July and it has been a complete nightmare. I have a warranty for 15 months on the home and I have broken things in my home that I been calling for eight weeks to get fixed and nothing. They came out once in September to fix a bubble in my carpet, instead of tightening the carpet up with a kicker HE CUT MY CARPET ACROSS THE ENTIRE ROOM WITH A PAIR OF SCISSORS!!!! How professional is that? After they did that I told them I wanted that repaired because it is unraveling, all they told me is they cant fix that because it is the carpet they do not fix that. I bought a home from Palmer Homes in Waverly NY in July. I moved in the beginning of August. As soon as the deal was closed and the home delivered they lost all interest in service after the sale. They do not return phone calls, they make excuses for things not completed. It has been 5 months and there are numerous problems including cracks in the walls, doors that do not fit correctly and leak cold air, cabinet doors missing or broken, screws pushing through the drywall just to name a few. They came 8 weeks ago to correct some issues and ruined my carpet. Now I can not get anyone to return a phone call or email. They promise someone will show up but nobody does and they do not even bother to call with an excuse or reschedule time. Somehow they are still in business but they are the absolute worst sales organization I have EVER dealt with, even worse than Verizon or Time wearner Cable if you can imagine that.
