I didn't think that I needed a travel agent these days (I mean the internet and trip advisor were all I needed, right?), but I was totally wrong. My sister and I couldn't decide on a Caribbean location for our resort trip, so Phyllis sat with us and gave us her first hand experience of all the different islands and their strengths and weaknesses. This woman has been everywhere and her knowledge and experience is super helpful. She ended up booking us a great off season deal at a 5 star all inclusive in Jamaica. It was beautiful, relaxing, and the food was amazing and authentic. And when we were stuck in the Jamaican airport on the way home because our plane was grounded in Charlotte with technical difficulties, all of our fellow passengers had to stand in these horribly long lines in the sweltering heat (no a/c in the airport concourse) while with a call to Phyllis, she got us rebooked on a flight, first class, and in the meantime we whiles away the wait with our passes to the members only lounge in the airport she recommended we spring for. She really saved us. So of course we've gone back to her for our family trip to Aruba, and my sisters trip to Mexico.
