I would land wrong sometimes and - OWWW!! I was thinking that maybe there was not much skiing in my future if at all, and the idea of walking a golf course seemed daunting indeed. Then I heard about Flexogenix. They examined my knees, did ultrasound and x-rays and diagnosed "moderate to severe" arthritis. They offered a treatment called Lipogems, where they extract stem cells from your love handles and inject them into the knees. I had both of them done, and while my knees felt like cement for a few days afterwards, 5 months later I was at Beaver Creek, and I hardly noticed them while skiing. I had suffered for many years with bad pain in my hips and legs. Everyone, including other doctors,…read moreassumed it was my hips. But, yet I kept being told that my hips weren't bad enough for surgery. I switched to S.E. Sports Medicine and was immediately diagnosed with Trendelenburg Gait, meaning my glueteus medius and gluteus minimus tendons were ripped and torn from the bone. After an MRI which clearly verified my condition, Dr. Matthew Wham said that he could repair this. Because of my age, he couldn't be sure of the damage and atrophy until he got into the surgery, but he was hopeful. The surgery went VERY well! The 8 inch incision with 20 or more staples hardly hurt at all, and I am a real pain wuss. In 3 days I was up and using a walker, and I am in a brace from my hip to my knee for 2months, but I can tell that my previous constant pain down my right hip and leg is gone. Dr. Wham is amazing, and I would advise you to goggle him for his specialties and se if he can change your life, too!

There is no communication between different staff members, I got asked the same question 5-6 times. THE ABSOLUTE worst is Mr Efrid. I went in for severe right hip arthritis. He pushed me have a steroid shot. I told him it doesn't work on me. I had a prior hip and knee replacement. He doesn't listen. He must be on commission for shots. For the record, it did nothing. He then pushes me to schedule surgery. The very next day, let's schedule it, 9 days later. After numerous calls and emails asking the same questions over and over, I'm getting uncomfortable I then get a call from Paige saying saying we need to cancel surgery, you can't have surgery within 90 days of a shot. That would be the same shot Mr EfRID pushed to have. I asked Paige what happened.Mr Efrid just plain forgot I had the shot. The medical repercussions of having this surgery after this shot are huge. I will be alerting the medical board and LLR. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MESS.
