Captain Phil did a great job. The soundtrack they use for music is well timed to the sites on the cruise including a beautiful sunset. There's food and beverages onboard all at reasonable prices. A local IPA for $6.00 and other beer for around $5.00. I had the Shrimp Fiesta which is a shrimp quesadilla with chips and salsa included for $15. Get there early to ensure parking. It sometimes gets challenging. There's an upper and lower deck area on the boat. For the most exposure, go to the top deck. Great views of Dafuskie Island and you can also see the Harbourtown Lighthouse as well as Tybee Island when going out onto the Calibogue Sound. We saw plenty of dolphins, a capsized boat in the channel, and a beautiful sunset on the way back to port. The weather was perfect. I highly recommend.

Within 30 min of heading out we were hooking up with the Bull Red's non stop for two hours until we were too tired to reel anymore in. After that we headed back in and caught our limit on trout within an hour before calling it a wrap. By 7:40 he netted more bait then we could use. Off into the Atlantic we went for the adventure. Once anchored, within 10 minutes, we had our first bites - but we couldn't get them reeled in. Then it got exciting. Over the next hour and a half we caught FIVE SHARKS - a HAMMERHEAD, BONNETHEAD, BLACK TIP and 2 BLACK NOSE. We were able to bring 4 of them into the boat for a picture before we threw them back. Our 21-year-old daughter got the trophy for the day as she reeled in a 5 foot long BLACK TIP SHARK that was well over the boat limited - WAY to big to handle (well over 100 lbs) so Captain Ben cut the hook out while leaning next to the boat and let him go. We made our reservations about a month…read moreout, and then when it came to be the day of our scheduled sail, thunderstorms and rain was moving through the area. But Captain Steve was on it and made sure to phone us in the morning as we devised a potential plan/time in the afternoon to touch base before we called it. We tracked the weather through the day, and once the afternoon rolled around, he said as long as it was good at departure time, we could go out and described the plans he had depending on what weather we might have. Thankfully, the day turned itself around and it was gorgeous by sailing time. We were able to bring our own drinks and snacks, so we got those onboard and we were off. I mentioned that I'd really love to see dolphins, if he knew where they might be. Either Captain Steve or his son Zach, who came along to help, made sure to point out any dolphins that were seen. We even got close to a couple which was a really neat experience. We had the option to sit back inside the boat or up top, and could move around as we pleased. We had such a fun and relaxing time during our sail. Captain Steve is super experienced and was very comfortable answering all the questions we had. His boat is well maintained and has a bathroom on board (bonus when you're on a 4 hour sail with drinks!) Highly recommend anyone looking for a unique experience to contact Captain Steve.
