I have been going to this office for years as a faithful and understanding patient. The one I go to is Alliance Drive in Goose Creek but they are all the same greedy and could care less about the actual health of their patients. If insurance doesn't pay or fix something quick they refuse to see you unless you pay all the money due. But wait even if you do they still won't see you the time if you give them more. Then after they take all the money and insurance finally pays it's like pulling teeth to get the money back. Some PA's are nice since you can't actually see a doctor but have to pay for one and the office staff is rude and not trained well at all. I personally wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. BEWARE oh and if you do decide to go anyway don't get to comfy with who you are seeing the turn around is awful as well. read more

I've never had a PCP before and would always go to an urgent care. Since being seen at the Spring Hall location by Rachel King, I've loved every minute of it. I feel like I'm being heard when I voice my concerns about my health and she has suggested some really great alternatIves to help me. I truly look forward to my visits and a huge plus is the wait time is very short! read more

Update: after having consistent chest pain, tachycardia, palpitations, and other developing symptoms including rapid weight loss, it has been determined by my cardiologist that I have dysautonomia and ehlers Danlos...I have to manage the tachycardia and palpitations now with beta blockers, as well as see a GI specialist regularly- apparently I'm also experiencing esophageal spasms. Let this be a reminder to always advocate for yourself and seek second, third opinions....medical gaslighting is so real!! read more

Just absolutely awful. I took my child there for a viral illness. I called to make an appointment and they got us in same day, but said we had to wait in the car. We arrived 15 minutes early and I signed in through the app. 10 minutes past the appointment they had not responded to us, so I tried to call and ask what they wanted us to do. I could not get a human on the line so I walked into the waiting area to the front desk, which defeated the purpose of supposedly isolating us in the car if we had COVID. The receptionist told me to go back to the car. Another 10 min went by and they called and asked if we had had any known exposure to COVID and I said no, and they told us to come in. Once in the room, they swabbed my child and she was negative for COVID. However, the visit did not improve once we got in front of their PA. She was completely tone-deaf and condescending, and told us that even though my child has a terrible nearly constant loud rattling cough and gets winded just trying to walk, she should go back to school tomorrow. She told her to be tough and that everyone was sick with whatever was going around, and she refused to give us a school note past that day. The visit was a complete waste of time that I missed work and paid a copay for. We ended up having to go to another doctor (who by the way advised that my child should not return to school until the cough is better, and gave us a school note through the end of the week.) As a parent of a child in public school, I know how these things go. If you take your child to school with a disruptive nasty cough, they will call you out of work to come and get them and treat you like you are a bad parent for sending them in the first place. What is a parent to do when the healthcare practitioners in COVID environment don't listen and minimize you and shoo you out the door and tell you to go back to school? We will absolutely NOT be back to Palmetto Primary Care Physicians. read more

Jennifer Stolin is my doc (I think the only doc at this practice) and she is very thorough, but willing to work with you if you have medicinal requests (i.e., I wanted to be prescribed anxiety medication and despite her opinion that I was just in a stressful time, she still prescribed medication for me). She is very upfront, but not rude about it. That said, the billing department and I aren't really friends due to several billing issues that have had to be handled. read more

How can a FNP who has been seeing you well over a year say they 'don't know you very well'? When you've been prescribing me meds for mental health, once suggested I was manic depressive, talked about putting me on lithium, and then I ask you to fill out some paperwork regarding my mental health you are suddenly unqualified? It seems as though anytime I go in she forgets every conversation we've ever had. I almost broke out into tears today when she said 'I have a three strike rule about meds', essentially saying she could do nothing for me, and saying the actual doctor had a three month wait but she didn't know what good it would do for me to see her. They rush you in and out, take your money, and don't make you feel well taken care of. It was a very said day when Dr. Ewens retired. I applaud them for always getting me in on short notice but I spend more time sitting in the room than being seen and I feel like my situation was very poorly handled and they just wanted rid of me as a patient. Listen I get it, pills aren't the answer for everything, but I just needed some paperwork filled out from the person who has been my primary care doctor for well over a year. And even that was too much. read more
